baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters and lucky shamrocks! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super lucky sweet, shamrocks St. Patrick's day themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) We had the flour flying! :) we turned our kitchen into a lucky 4 leaf clover field! :) and had some awesome fun, as we baked lots of yummy treats! :) the color of green is shining in our kitchen today, the lucky shamrock of St. Patrick's day! :) we turned frosting green! marshmallow fluff green!  even our hands are turning green! :) hehe! :) this was awesome fun! :) we wish you all could come over to enjoy some baking friday goodies. :) St. Patrick's day is coming up! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone. :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my little nieces Kayla, Taylynn, nephew little Michael, and i baked lucky shamrocks sugar cookies, and st. patrick's day themed whoopie pies. :) The wonderful month of march is in full swing, with lots of great festivities, traditions, and celebrations. :) is everyone ready for St. Patrick's day! :) i'm wearing my green st. patrick's day shamrock necklaces today, with the spirit of the wonderful holiday coming up on sunday. :) my family and i love march, and celebrating these special times with you all. :) yesterday, a beautiful birthday celebration for my grandma, and today a lucky shamrocks celebration in the kitchen. :) we're enjoying the festivities, and all of the special times, that makes march a golden fun month. :) spring season is approaching, the colors of green are already aplenty in the garden, as perennials flowers begin to sprout, and the snow has melted. :) soon fresh green grass will grow, and butterfly's,ladybugs, and bumble bees will roam all around the yard, and gardens. :) it's that time of the year, MARCHING TO SPRING! :)

it was a great spirited morning. :) i got a big bowl of goodies, for our nature animal friends. :) they love their baking friay breakfast feasts. :) i put the goodies all around our yard. :) it's so incredible to see how the sun is rising way to the west of where it rised during early winter. the spring sun is getting ready to arrive, for a season of spirited adventures, and gardening glory. :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa. :) they are so nice, and sweet. :) they went to the grocery store and picked up baking friday supplies. :) Thank you mom and Lisa, so very much! :) they help make baking friday possible each week. :) Weget so excited when they arrive home with the baking friday supplies. :)my mom came home with an extra SHAMROCK SMILE for me! :)awww! :)
my mom bought a lucky shamrock plant for me, just like the one i got for my grandma! :) This is awesome, and super cool! :) it's so neat to see, and the little leprechaun decorative is awesome! :) i thanked my mom. :) that was such a neat surprise. :) Thank you mom, so very much! :) around mid-morning, i gathered baking friday supplies and decorations, and ventured out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure. :) today, we turned our kitchen into a shamrock 4 leaf clover field! :) it looked so neat, all decorated. :)my family and i were hanging out, looking at the decorations. :) We put our beautiful happy St. Patrick's day cards in our kitchen, and my new lucky shamrock plant. :) our kitchen was glowing green with the spirit of march and st. Patrick's day. :) decorating is a special part of the baking friday fun. :) i cooked a nice lunch, and this afternoon i enjoyed some nice quality time here on DS, writing to friends, and called our dear friend Cj (ddeadred) :) we enjoyed a nice talk. :) Cj, and her family sent my family and i a wonderful treasure. :) a very special get well soon card for us. :) awww! :) Thank you Cj, and family, so very much! :)
Around late afternoon, i ventured back out into our kitchen to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations. :) i washed the baking pans, got them all set and ready. :) after 3pm, my sister Jenn and little Michael arrived. :) little Michael had his apron, he was so happy and excited about baking! :) awww! :) he wanted a chair so he could stand on the chair and be close to the counter. :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school around 3:25pm. :) they were so excited to see us all, and the kitchen all decorated. :) glowing green shamrocks. :) We were getting ready for our super fun adventure! :) Taylynn was a little tired from her school day, but said she would like to help a little. :) awww! :)
i wore the lovely apron that our lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) mom sewn for us and little Michael wore his apron :) We also love to use our wonderful Oven Mits, Kitchen Towels, and Pot Holders, that our dear, and lovely friends sent us, from all around the world. :) We also use our nice journals. :) we love writing baking friday notes. :) You all are with us in spirit, during baking friday. :) You all are wonderful, and make baking friday so very extra special. :) throughout the course of the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, so very much for the nice texts. :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were all ready to bake yummy treats! :) calling all cookie monsters and shamrocks! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :)  We first began by preparing the sugar cookies. :) We use our nice recipe from our old school cookbook. :) little Michael was all set, he had a spoon, and was excited to help us add the ingredients to the bowl. :) i'm so blessed to have lots of great helpers in the kitchen. :) awww! :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best egg ever!" :) awww! :) She loves to pick out the eggs. :) Kayla opened the fridge, and selected the egg. :)awesome! :) we were shamrock-rocking and rolling! :) lots of spirit of march. :) my mom, Lisa, and sister Jenn were checking in on the baking friday fun. :) We were sharing lots of smiles already, and our adventure had just began! :) We added the flour, sugar, egg, and butter to the bowl, and also some extra melted butter. :) We love extra buttery sugar cookies. :) it was then time to stir! :) SUPER STIR! :) Kayla, little Michael, and i were stirring and stirring. :) it was so much fun, little Michael was having a good ole time! :) Jenn was singing,"stir! stir" and Michael started to dance! :) hehe! :) we were sharing smiles :)
We did really well with the sugar cookies, we made the cookie dough nice, and it was then time to get some more flour flying in the air, as we sprinkled some flour onto the counter. :) my dad was checking in on the baking friday fun. :) he loves the treats we bake. :) You all were right there with us in spirit in the kitchen too! :) This was awesome! :) we were having lots of fun, Taylynn was coming out into the kitchen. :) we used nice shamrock themed cookie cutters to make the shamrock cookies. :) i put my hand on the cookie cutter, and told little Michael to push my hand down, when he put his hand on top of my hand, i then pressed down with the cutter cookie, and i said, "Mikey, you are strong!" :) awww! :) he was so proud! :) he was looking around, like saying, "hey everyone, look what i did!" awww! :) so cool! :)
Kayla was making lots of shamrock cookies. :) i used butter to grease the baking pan, and sprinkled a little flour onto the pan to help prevent the cookies from sticking. :) i then put the cookies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) little Michael loves to see us put the goodies into the oven to bake. :) he was smiling, and clapping. :) awww! :) we did a little cleaning up in the kitchen, and then got ready to prepare the whoopie pies. :) We used chocolate cake mix. :) Kayla and Michael added the cake mix into the new bowl we got, and we then added in melted butter, water, and 2 more of the best eggs ever. :) we began to stir. :) the cake mix was nice and set. :) i used butter to grease the whoopie pies baking pan. :) lots of great spirit and excitement, as we were enjoying this super fun baking friday adventure. :) the first batch of shamrock cookies finished baking :) the whoopie pies were baking nicely too. :) once i brought the cakes out of the oven, the cakes and cookies were cooling down. :)
Kayla, Taylynn, Michael, and i began to prepare the frostings, and marshmallow fluff. :) we made green and yellow/gold frosting, and we also used green food coloring to turn the marshmallow fluff green. :) lots of green in the kitchen. :) We even had food coloring on our hands! :) hehe! :) we did some cleaning in the kitchen, and got ready to decorate the shamrock cookies and whoopie pies. :) We spread green frosting on the cookies, and put the yellow/gold frosting into a plastic baggie to make a cookie decorater, and then outlined the cookies with the frosting. :) i made a D and S cookie for everyone here on DS :) the shamrock cookies came out great! :) we then made the St. Patrick's day themed whoopie pies. :) we spread the green marshmallow fluff onto the cakes, and made the cakes into sandwiches. :) we added some green and white sprinkles. :) so cool! :) We were showing everyone the goodies, they're awesome! :) i thanked Kayla, Taylynn, and little Michael for helping, and thanked my mom and Lisa again for picking up baking friday supplies for us. :)
We had so much fun baking goodies today. :) This is so nice, and very special times, that we cherish, and treasure. :) we have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too. :) with spring season arriving, we're gonna have spring themed baking friday adventures. :) a ladybugs theme, bumble bees theme, flowers theme, and lots more. :) Spring smiles, and happy baking friday smiles :)

We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) We're so very happy, thankful, and blessed to have the great opportunity to celebrate amazing special times like this, with eachother, and our wonderful friends. :) You all are very special to us. :) there's lots of great things going on, and many very special memories being made. :) We love this time of the year, and the special joys, and happiness it brings. :) We love march! :) it was so nice celebrating my grandma's birthday yesterday, and baking goodies today, and the weekend is arriving with lots of wonderful spirit of march. :) we love weekends, especially during this time of the year. :) This evening my favorite college basketball team, Georgetown Hoyas has a big east semi-final game this evening  :) March madness NCAA basketball tournament begins next week. :) Go Hoyas! :) tomorrow, my family and i are gonna go shopping at the dollar store. :) it's gonna be lots of fun shopping! :) i'm going to buy some writing supplies, and going to buy some Easter treasures. :) i'm going to create very special happy Easter cards. :) i'm so very happy and excited about this very special arts and crafts writing project. :)
St. Patrick's day is on sunday. :) i'm going to write cards, gonna get a shamrock mint milkshake at mcdonalds, and watching Leprechaun movies. :) There's a chance my dad and i may plant some peppers seeds in our mini garden greenhouse this weekend too. :) it's gonna be an awesome weekend. :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures and pictures with everyone. :) We're so happy and excited, celebrating many special times this month, march is my favorite month. :) my birthday is next friday, March 22nd. :) i've been recieving some lovely happy birthday treasures envelopes and packages in the mail. :) i'm so happy, excited, and thrilled! :) i look forward to opening my envelopes and packages on my birthday, for my DS birthday party. :) There's so many more wonderful things to look forward too. :) my family and i are so very happy, thankful, and blessed to have you all in our lives. :) You all are very special friends. :) We thank you all so much, for all that you do for us. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) tonight, i'm going to have some oranges for snack, and going to call our dear friend Holly. :) We love to talk, and watch ghost adventures. :) it's paranormal night on the travel channel. :) my family and i hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully safe, fun, and happy weekend. :)

We're like a family here on DS. comforting, and uplifting eachother, in our times of need. my family and i want to take this reflective time, to remember in loving memory, the animal friends, of 3 of our dearest friends. they lost animal friends, who have passed on. Dezna's animal friend Harley. Cj's (ddeadred) animal friend Sparky. Sharon's (Silvershadow) animal friend Spice. We are deeply saddened, and so sorry for your losses. We remember in loving memory. Their loving spirits. HARLEY, SPARKY, SPICE, paw prints of love, forever in our hearts.
