Happy baking friday, from our hearts and home to yours :)

calling all cookie monsters!!! :) cookie monsters! hehe! cookie monsters unite!!! it's baking friday!! oh my! a sweet, wholesome, home baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) as i write this, for the very first time, writing our baking friday journal here on my laptop computer, on our counter, as the cookies we just baked, are cooling down here on our oven/stove top :) there's lots of wild excitement going on, with the kids having fun playing in the living room, us all talking, and outside, the sounds of the tree removal workers taking down another tree that we are paying them to take down for us. as i write this, i smell the scent of cookies, and thinking of how wonderful it is,to be home, and sharing with you all, our dear wonderful family of friends, all around :) this is our baking friday adventure, and story, as we make it through the week, and get ready to blossom into the weekend and new days ahead :) we always wish you all could come over, to enjoy some baking friday goodies with us :) You all are right here, in our hearts, with us in spirit :) Happy baking friday!:)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Kayla, the kids, and i baked some awesome shortbread cookies :) it's a day of lots of things going on :) i have new updates, and our baking friday adventure to share :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice peaceful day :) We've been thinking of you all often, and how wonderfully thankful we are, to have you all in our lives :) it's been a tough, emotional week for us all, and our hearts, but through all of those dark times, minutes or hours, we have found wonderful brightness through it all, with your love, care, support, and prayers :) thank you everyone, so very much :) we deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) we're with you, and so thankful for some progress forward :) We feel hopeful, and positive :) 

This morning, we woke up to a new day rising and shining. :) i have some new updates to share :) the tree removal workers came today, and they removed the rest of the tree, that fell on our home, and we also paid them to remove the other tree, that is on the other side of our home, by our driveway. They have been working very hard, and our neighbors also talked with the tree workers, and they are gonna have a tree removed in their yard too. there's been lots going on around our yard, neighborhood. we have quite the work to do,to get our yard cleaned up, organized, but are going to work hard, and looking forward to some great times in our yard, garden, and also having BBQ'a :)

2nd big update is, my mom and dad, talked with the insurance worker today, from all state. they are sending a worker out here tomorrow, between 9am-11am, and going to evaluate our home, damages from the storm, tree that fell. it's a relief, they will be coming, and we'll be able to get some information, about when our home repairs will begin, costs, and everything :) we are still wondering, if we will be able to be here, during the building, repairs. the tree workers know contractors, and are in touch with them, about doing the work on our home. the tree workers will be back here tomorrow, when the insurance agent comes. Things are definitely looking up, and we are feeling like things are gonna be ok :) Thank you all, for being here for us :) i'll continue to keep everyone updated :) we are all feeling very positive, and hopeful for the days ahead. :)

This morning, we were all blossoming into the day :) we're very happy for it being baking friday, and having this special tradition in our lives :) i love to wish my family and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family, all of your happy baking friday wishes :) i put some goodies outside for our nature friends :) it looks very different, in our yard, with the tree gone, and now with 2nd tree gone. our yard, gardens need some work, but we're gonna work hard :) i gathered up some baking friday decorations, i decorated our kitchen :) it looked nice :) we all have been spending time in our living room, i called Holly, and also spent some time here on ds, writing to friends :) the day was going along nicely :) the tree workers came around late morning. we were watching a bit, as they removed the trees, and gave us an estimate on 2 other trees way out in our backyard. with what has happened this week, we want to take all precautions, just incase there is more severe weather. it's definitely been a life changing experience for us, and we are so thankful, to be ok, and have been thinking of everyone who was impacted by the awful severe weather. wishing everyone a full recovery,and rebuilding :)

This afternoon, i was setting up our kitchen for baking friday :) Alyssa and the triplets, Taylynn, Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over, after school :) we were gathering in our living room, and kitchen :) Hunter and Colby wanted to help Kayla and i bake today :) i had my apron, and our nice oven mits, here in our kitchen :) we love our baking friday supplies, family and friends have given us :) we love our supplies, they're a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) we got our picture taken in our kitchen :) a cool baking friday tradition :) our kitchen was set, and we were ready to bake some awesome cookies :) calling all cookie monsters! cookie monsters unite! it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

we began our super fun adventure  :) we used some nice shortbread cookies mix :) the kids love to help bake, we're so proud of them, and all they are learning about baking and cooking :) baking friday teamwork :) we were preparing the shortbread cookies, it's a simple nice recipe :) we were super stirring the cookies mix :) my niece Alyssa brought us some caramel icing to put on the cookies when they were finished :) we were sharing smiles, enjoying baking :) with all of the excitement around, with everyone talking,the kids playing their video games in the living room, kitchen, it feels like a classic baking friday :) i used buttery cooking spray to grease the baking pan, and we put the shortbread cookie dough into the pan, and then put the cookies into the oven to bake :)

we were all hanging out, as the cookies were baking :) my dad and i were talking about our yard, trees, garden. and our plans for cleaning, and organizing :) we also talked about our roof, rooms repairs. the shortbread cookies finished baking, they baked nicely :) when the cookies cooled down, i cut the cookies, into bars, and drizzled the caramel icing on top :) we had a fun time baking  cookies today :) we're so happy, we could have a baking friday adventure :) we have many more super fun adventures planned :) a very special shoutout, for family and friends :) lots of nice baking, and cooking this week:) we love hearing about the nice goodies and foods you all bake :) we're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) this is awesome fun, very special, and i always wish we all, could have a big baking friday picnic :) Shortbread cookies, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the awesome spirit of spring time, and the wholesome heart warming feeling of being home :) we love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday, we love it!!! :) May 18th, 2018 :) happy baking friday everyone :)

Weekend arriving :) we are still going, day by day, with things. :) my family and i are keeping strong, we're doing ok, and are in good spirits  :) i'll keep everyone updated about how things are going, with the all state insurance agent coming tomorrow, tree workers, and everyone  :) we may shop tomorrow, am not sure, but will keep everyone posted :) Holly and i are gonna watch most haunted show tonight :) i'm going to set up small table here in kitchen, foods, snacks, drinks :) Holly and i love to hangout on the phone, and we love our friday night, paranormal party night's :) my family and i are taking things,one day at a time :) Thank you all for giving us strength, hope, and helping us keep on keeping on, each day :) We deeply appreciate you all, our wonderful sweet dear wonderful guardian angel friends :) big group warm comforting friendship hug :) there's many more great things to look forward too, with family, friends, and the spirit of the season :)
