baking friday :) Smores Cookie Bars, and Stuffed Mozzarella Wheat Pretzels :)

"Lets bake some goodies"- my nephew's Mikey, Hunter, Colby, and Brayden said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :)oh my! :) a super fun sweet classic summer time, flour flying, baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) We had the flour flying, and baking up some awesome treats today, including the first time we've baked, stuffed pretzels!!! :) yum! :) The spirit of the summer season is rocking, and there's so many great things going on :) We're so happy and excited, sharing in, and celebrating the joys fof the season with everyone :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked smores cookie bars, and also baked mozzarella stuffed wheat pretzels :) the treats came out great! :) it was the first time we've made stuffed pretzels :) i've been watching some of the foods shows on the travel channel, and got the recipe idea on there :) We love summer time baking, and all of the great joys our adventures brings :) You all are always right there with us in spirit, in our kitchen :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) i love to begin my friday, by wishing my family and friends, a happy baking friday and i shared with my family, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) awww! :) We appreciate you all, our dear angel friends :) we hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice peaceful day :) We think of you all often, and are so excited, to celebrate the summer season with you and your family's :) it's been a big summer of baking friday adventures, and the adventures are continuing to rock and summer roll, as we gear up, for another big month of baking, the month of August :) We got a special request for next week's baking friday adventure :) The kids love dinosaurs, and Mikey and the triplets have birthday's coming up :) We're gonna have a nice dinosaur's themed baking friday adventure next week : )The kids are already so excited, and want to turn our kitchen into a dinosaur's jungle! :) it's gonna be lots of fun! :)

i love going out in the early mornings, for my nature walk :) i got a nice big bowl of goodies, and put the goodies outside for our nature firends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i also checked in on our plants :) we have our first zinnia flower blossom of the season, a red blossom :) our pumpkin plants, and popcorn plants are growing lots, and all of our plants, doing really well :) there's lots of flourishing going on in the garden this week :) i treated myself this morning, to a nice medium blueberry iced coffee and had a coupon for a 99 cents bagel with cream cheese :) my sister Lisa and Alyssa went to dunkin donuts :) i was so excited to get the bagel and iced coffee :)

it was a sweet morning, blossoming into the new day :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating :) i used some of our new kitchen towels today, to decorate :) i love to decorate :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i prepared a nice lunch, boiled cabbage, with baked sweet potatoes :) i also baked some garlic gloves :) i love to put the garlic on the cabbage and sweet potatoes :) i enjoyed my lunch, and during the early afternoon, i watered our plants, and also enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) a very special shoutout and thank you for my lovely mom and dad :) they went to the stores, and picked up some yeast and mozzarella cheese, for our baking friday adventure :)

Everyone was beginning to arrive, around 3pm :) Alyssa and the triplets, Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over :) We were all gathering around, and very excited for baking friday :) the kids all love to get a seat, and they get their spots at the counter :) we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends :) i wear my apron, and we use our oven mits, and kitchen towels :) These special supplies, are always a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) Our kitchen was all set and we were all ready, to blossom into a cool baking friday adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) We all got our picture taken in the kitchen :) Lots of great baking friday excitement, and smiles being shared :) we first began to prepare the pretzels :) we made wheat pretzels today :) the kids all got a spoon, and we were ready to add the ingredients :) baking friday teamwork! :) we put 1 packet of yeast into the bowl, and 1 cup of water :) a little bit of vegetable oil, and a little bit of brown sugar :) We then began to add the wheat flour :) the recipe we made, was about 4 cups of wheat flour :) We were sharing lots of smiles, super stirring, getting the flour flying in the air in the kitchen :) my mom and Jenn were coming out into the kitchen too :) You all were right there with us in spirit :)

The kids are learning a lot about baking :) We're very proud of them :) We prepared the pretzel dough, and we let the dough sit for a while, as we began to prepare the smores cookie bars :) The smores cookie bars came in a box, with all of the mix :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best egg ever :) She loves picking out the eggs :) We were adding in the ingredients, and melted butter, and then super stirred the smores cookie bars mix :) i got a nice baking pan, and used butter to grease the pan :) The adventure was rocking, and we still had the stuffed pretzels to make :) awesome! :)

We poured the smores cookie bar dough into the baking pan, and i put the cookie bars into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) as the cookie bars were baking, we began to prepare the stuffed pretzels :) i cut the pretzel dough into portions, and we opened up the mozzarella sticks :) Kayla and i cut the mozzarella sticks into portions, and we then began to make the pretzels :) some of the kids were coming back and forth, from the living room into the kitchen :) Hunter was ready to make some pretzels!:) awww! :) We rolled the pretzel dough into nice rope shapes, but in the middle of the pretzel dough, we kept a little bigger area, to roll the mozzarella cheese into, and then made the pretzels into nice pretzel shapes :)

i got a nice baking pan, i greased it with butter, and we put the pretzels on the pan, and i sprayed the pretzels with buttery cooking spray :) it was then time for the pretzels to bake :) we made lots of pretzels :) the smores cookie bars finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down : )The pretzels baked for a good 15 minutes :) when the pretzels were done ,i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) i cut the smores cookie bars into squares, and took a picture of them, and the pretzels, and we were showing everyone the baked goodies :) my mom and i had a pretzel, they're awesome! :) the kids had some smores cookie bars :) it was so nice baking today :) we'll definitely make some more stuffed pretzels sometime soon :)

We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and i thanked Kayla and the kids for helping bake :) We had so much fun baking the smores cookie bars and pretzels :) Earlier today, Holly prepared a nice lunch, she made a taco boat, and is very happy she made the nice lunch :) awww! :) i told Holly i'd mention that in my journal today :) We love hearing about all of the nice goodies, and foods you all cook and bake each week :) a special shoutout to everyone :) Lots of cooking, and baking this week :) i wish we all could gather, and have a big baking friday picnic :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) Smores Cookie Bars, and Stuffed Mozzarella Cheese Wheat Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the incredible spirit of the summer season :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) July 28th, 2017 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
