"SMORES!!! i just knew, we were gonna be making those!"- my little nephew Mikey said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, Summer Time themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen! :) With a very special return to the kitchen, for Kayla! :) She's back with us in the kitchen today, baking up some nice goodies, as we gear up, for the countdown to summer season! :) We're so happy and excited, that summer is near, and there's lots of great things to look forward too :) With the golden sunshine, and birds singing happily, and summer time celebrations coming up, it's a great time of the year :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some baking friday goodies :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Colby, Jacob, Brayden, and i baked some nice brownies, and made smores :) Everyone began to dig right into the smores! :) chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers :) a spring/summer time tradition! :) We're ready for the countdown to summer season :) The spirit is in the air! :) We're so happy to celebrate with you all, our dear angel friends :) There's lots of great things going on :)
We hope everyone is enjoying a nice day :) the kids were so excited in the kitchen today, as they got to join in, helping prepare the smores, and brownies :) We're so happy, all of the kids are joining in :) we had a full kitchen today, with the special return of Kayla in the kitchen with us :) She's enjoyed a great track and field season, and is so happy to join back in on some baking friday adventures, especially as summer season approaches :)the kids final day of school, is June 17th :) summer time is near :) i hear the kids all playing outside here this early evening :) They love to run all around the yard, and they've been having awesome fun out there today too, as it's nice weather, and we've had some nice sunshine in our area :)
This morning, we had an awesome new sunny sunrise, welcoming a beautiful new day of June :) i wished my family a happy baking friday, and i love to share your happy baking friday wishes with them :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to our adventure today :) i began my day, with a nice nature walk :) i love putting lots of goodies, all around our yard, for the birds and squirrels :) There's been lots of birds visiting our yard :) i put lots of crumbled breads around for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts! :) i checked in on the plants, they're doing really well :) it's amazing, how much the plants have grown :) our gardens are coming along really well :) we love these times in the season :) it's very exciting :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) They went shopping yesterday, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) we all love to chip in each week, and getting the baking friday supplies :) around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and ventured our into our kitchen, to begin setting up our kitchen : )Today, i decorated with a summer countdown/nature sunflowers theme :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i love to decorate it :) i went outside, and watered our plants :) the plants are healthy, and happy :) i came back indoors, and i prepared a nice lunch :) i cooked mashed potatoes, with tomato soup :) it's really good :) my mouth/tooth area is healing well :) i'm very thankful :) my medicine is helping me :) i enjoyed another nice nature walk, putting more goodies around our yard, around mid-day :) i was also enjoying my iced tea :)
During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some time with my mom, dad, and enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends :) Alyssa and the triplets came over :) Shortly before 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, to get everything all set, in preparations for our super fun adventure :) Jenn and Mikey came over, shortly after 3pm, and Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school :) everyone was all excited! :) The kids were running around, and Mikey said, "SMORES! i just knew we were gonna be making those!" :) awww! :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we have recieved over the years :) oven mits, kitchen towels, and our other baking supplies :) These nice supplies, are always a very special part of our cooking and baking adventures :) i texted friends throughout the course of the day, to wish everyone a happy baking friday :) our kitchen was all set, and we were all set, and ready :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) it was awesome, having Kayla back in the kitchen with us :) She and i were helping the kids :) Mikey's been helping teach Colby, Jacob, and Brayden too, about cooking, and baking :) We first began to prepare, the brownies :) my mom gave us some nice fudge brownies mix :) Mikey picked out the best 2 eggs ever! :) awww! :) We were adding in the ingredients, including some melted butter :) it was then time, to super stir! :) Kayla and Mikey were stirring, and the kids were all having lots of fun, watching on, and running around the kitchen :) They get so excited, and love to join in, on the baking friday fun :) i used some butter to grease the brownies baking pan, and we poured the brownies mix into the pan :) i put the brownies into the oven to bake! :) i love that nice scent of fudge brownies baking :)
We began to prepare the smores :) one of our all-time favorite treats :) it was so exciting, as we were having a great fun baking friday, and so happy, that my niece Alyssa was joining us in the kitchen too : )She wanted us to make a nice smore for her :) We opened up the hershey's chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallows :)The triplets enjoyed some of the treats :) Kayla and i showed the triplets, how to make the smores :) putting chocolate on the graham crackers, and then a marshmallow :)They were watching on, as we then put some of the graham crackers/chocolate/marshmallows into the microwave, and put it on for about 20 seconds :)the marshmallows got very big! :) We then put graham crackers on top of the chocolate and marshmallow, to make it a nice smore :) We made lots and lots of smores :) the kids were eating some :) it was awesome, we were all gathered around :) The kids said, "yum!" :) awww! :) the triplets when they are in our kitchen and see the side counter, they say, "cake! cake!" hehe! :) very adorable! :)
The brownies finished baking :) They baked really nicely :) brownies are one of our favorite baked goodies :) We had lots of fun today, baking brownies, and making smores :) We love baking friday :) Everyone is digging into the smores, and the kids went outside to play after baking friday :) i thanked them all for helping :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) it was great fun, baking, and we look forward to many more fun baking friday adventures :) we love this very special tradition :) with summer season approaching, we'll be having many summer time baking friday's, including baking a nice raspberry pie :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) Lots of cooking, and baking this week :) we love hearing about the nice foods, and goodies you all cook and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) This is awesome fun! :) i wish we all could have a big baking friday picnic :) it would be so cool! :) Smores, and Brownies, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit of the season :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) June 5th, 2015 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) arrival of the weekend! :) We love it! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) it's been an amazing week, with lots of great things going on :) my tooth area/mouth is continuing to heal :) i'm doing well, on the soft foods diet :) i'm feeling very positive, and strong :) each day, is a day closer to healing :) We're very excited about the weekend :) This upcoming weekend, is gonna be rocking and rolling :) Tomorrow is the Belmont Stakes horse race day :) my mom, dad, and i are going to the mohegan sun casino, to place some bets on the big horse race :) we'll be cheering for American Pharoah horse to win the triple crown :) on sunday, i'm going to do some gardening :) it's gonna be great, blossoming into some gardening :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone, in my weekend journals :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) i'm going to call Holly tonight :) very soon, Holly and i are going to be able to have our friday night paranormal night party's, watching ghost adventures, and most haunted show :) She's getting a new laptop computer :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a great weekend :)
