"We love reese's pieces, and cookies!"- my nephew's Colby, and Jacob said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying, sweet spirit of summer time, themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun!!! :) We had the flour flying in the air today, eating candies, and sharing lots of smiles, as we baked up some awesome treats, and also used cucumbers from our garden, to make some nice homemade pickles :) We love these awesome times, and are blossoming into the labor day weekend and getting ready to welcome September! :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked some awesome reese's pieces sugar cookies, and made homemade sweet bread and butter pickles :) it was so much fun! :) We're so happy and excited :) We're loving the spirit of the season, and all of the great joys it brings :) We've had an amazing summer of baking friday adventures, and as we get into the month of September, we'll be baking some fall season treats soon :) it's really special, all of the great memories being made, and so much more to look forward too :)

Awesome Spirit of the Season!!! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a beautiful day :) it's feeling like september time, as we get ready to welcome the new month of September, and the countdown to fall season :) it's been a big week, as we all have been transitioning to that time of the year, from summer to the fall season time :) The kids are enjoying a great back to school, and doing really well :) they love school :) We're so proud of them:) it's a vey exciting time of the year, as we get ready to blossom into the month of September :) The nature is glowing, these golden days of summer :) The sunflowers are spirit soaring in the sweet blue sky, lots of flowers blossoming, and wonderful fruits and vegetables to harvest :) it's a wholesome time in the season :) We feel very blessed,and thankful to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in, and celebrate the very special times of the season with you and your family's :) There's so much more, to look forward too :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) it's been a big month of August, lots of celebrations, adventures, nature, gardening, and all of our baking friday adventures :) as we settle into september soon, we'll be having some fall season themed baking friday's :) we have lots of plans, and treats we want to bake :) a special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my family, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) aww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to baking some goodies, and using cucumbers from our garden, to make some more pickles :) it's been an amazing growing season, lots of awesome goodies growing, and many happy flowers blossoming throughout the season :) our garden adventures, and our plants, have rewarded us in so many wonderful ways :) We're so proud, to use cucumbers from our garden, to make pickles today :)

As the new day was blossoming, i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning nature walk :) the air's been so nice, crisp, and cool this week, in the mornings :) it's definitely a hint of september, fall season air :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our natue friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i saw some bluejays, black birds, and sparrows :) they all gather together,to gather goodies :) it's so nice to see them, and those golden beams!!! of sunrise sunshine shining upon the nature, trees, and our yard :) The air has that feeling in it, like the late summer, and soon fall season be on it's way :) we're looking forwardto all of the upcoming times in fall season, to enjoy with everyone :) this time of the year, makes me think of pumpkins, apples, scarecrows, and autumn leaves changing colors soon, the scent of apples, cinnamon,and pumpkin goodies baking in the warm cozy kitchen :) i was walking around our yard, checking our plants :) They're doing really well :) Thank you angel friends, for your lovely comments,and compliments on our plants, and garden :) we're so happy, and delighted everyone's been enjoying our garden, adventures, and pictures :) We're having so much fun enjoying the season, seeing our happy spirit soaring sunflowers, other flowers blossoming, and all of our fruits, and vegetables growing :) we're going to harvest our gourds, and also popcorn cobs in September, along with lots more string beans, and tomatoes to make homemade salsa :) it's a great time in the season :)

it was a sunshine spirited morning! :) i made a blueberry iced coffee, and some toast with grape jelly :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :) my sister Lisa surprised me this morning :) She went to dunkins, and got a blueberry iced coffee, and some apple cider munchkins for us to share :) it's very nice of her :) Cheers! :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) it's so much fun decorating, it's one of my favorite baking friday traditions :) it's amazing, how the 12th birthday of baking friday is coming up in September :) We'll be having a big celebration adventure, to celebrate that special day :) our kitchen looked awesome, all decorated :) i washed some canning jars, and also put our baking supplies on the counter :) Holly and i went outside for a late morning nature walk, and tended our plants, giving them a nice watering :) our plants are very healthy,and happy, enjoying the water, and soaking up the sunshine today :) Garden friend cat joined us in our garden, and my mom and dad came home from shopping :) they brought an extra iced coffee home, Holly had it :) it's so nice and sweet of my mom and dad :) we were all hanging out :) During the early afternoon,i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

Shortly after 3pm, Alyssa and the kids came over, after school :) Brayden, Jacob, and Colby, Kayla, and Taylynn, and Mikey have been enjoying a great start to the new school year :) Today, Jenn and family began a journey to New Hampshire, to visit with Mike's family :) They were with us in spirit, for baking friday today :) Lots of great spirit, and excitement, as we were beginning to gather around, and getting ready to bake some goodies :) earlier, i had sliced some cucumbers, and also got some pickle juice cooking on the stove: ) i used vinegar, Mrs. Wages bread and butter pickles seasoning, and sugar:) our kitchen smelled like pickles :) Each week, we love to use our baking friday supplies, we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my apron, we also use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) Our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake some awesome treats! :) calling all cookie monsters!: ) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We love sugar cookies, and i thought about how it would be awesome, to put reese's pieces on top of the cookies :) we began to prepare the cookies :) baking friday teamwork! :) Kayla helped us bake this week:) She's having a big week, with back to school, and getting her learner's permit for driving :) We're so happy she joined in on the baking friday fun :) Alyssa had some errands to run :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever' :) She loves to select the eggs :) Colby and Jacob were helping Kayla and i this week, preparing the cookies :)

The kids love to help :) they're great helpers, and they love to add the ingredients into the bowl, and super stirring :) We got some flour flying in the air in the kitchen today :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) We made a big batch of sugar cookies dough, and were talking about the week, the kids return to school, and upcoming fall season, and halloween season :) we love these awesome times, sharing smiles :) You all are always right there with us in spirit in our kitchen :) my mom was coming out into the kitchen, this is awesome! :) i used vegetable oil to grease the baking pan, and we put the sugar cookies onto the pan, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake :)

As the cookies were baking, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and the pickle juice was heating up on the stove :) i had the sliced cucumbers in the jars :) once the pickle juice began to boil, i used a metal laddle spoon to pour the pickle juice into the jars, and then used our oven mits, to seal the jars :) we made a total of 5 jars of sweet bread and butter pickles: ) they're awesome! :) The cookies finished baking nicely, i brought the cookies out of the oven, and i put some reese's pieces on top of the cookies :) Holly was excitd for us to bake the cookies, she loves reese's pieces and sugar cookies :) the goodies came out great! :) We're so happy :) We're all digging in, enjoying some cookies, and i can't wait to have some bread and butter sweet pickles :)
