"Lets bake all day!"- my nephew's Mikey, Hunter, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, spirit soaring, flour flying, summer time themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) we had the whole baking friday crew today, sharing lots of smiles, and baking some awesome treats! :) it's a cookies and pretzels party, and we're celebrating the arrival of countdown to summer week! :) the summer season is arriving, and we're so happy and excited to celebrate with everyone :) come on over, fo rsome baking friday goodies! :)

We sure so love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventure with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked some awesome reese's pieces sugar cookie bars, and wheat pretzels :) the goodies came out awesome! :) We're so excited, summer season is arriving, and we've got lots and lots of super fun baking friday adventures planned :) There's many great things going on, and lots of special memories being made :) We think of you all often, and are so happy and excited to celebrate these special times with you and your family's :)

my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) We've been looking forward to our baking friday adventure :) We have some nice rain in our area today too, our plants are soaking up the rain, and it's a perfect day to bake goodies :) this morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) i love to wish my family and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family, your sweet baking friday wishes :) You all are so nice, and sweet to us : )Thank you everyone, so very much! :) Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter were here for a little while this morning, Jenn helped my mom clean the kitchen cabinet, and Hunter and Mikey were ready to bake some goodies! hehe! :) they said, they'd bake goodies all day! :) awww! :)

It was a great morning, as the new day was blossoming :) During the early morning, i enjoyed a nice nature walk, and put some goodies outside for our nature friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) It looked like it was gonna be sunny, but we knew there was rain in our forecast, which is so nice, and replenishing for our plants. : )after all of the warm weather, and sunshine, the nice rain today is incredible for the plants :) they're super mega growing into the summer season :) all of our plants, fruit trees, and bushes are doing really well :)

i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went into our kitchen this morning, to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) i love to decorate :) it's a big part of the baking friday fun each week :) our kitchen looked awesome, and Even Mr. Cool Sunflower joined us in the kitchen today! :) Sunny cool smiles :) i made a nice lunch, i had a nice salad, with coleslaw :) lunch was delicious! :) it was a nice peaceful start to the afternoon too :) i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) it felt cooler with the fan in my window, and the nice rainfall in our area, really has helped cool the air down :)

Shortly after 2pm, Alyssa and the triplets came over, and Kayla arrived home from school :) Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over shortly after 3pm :) we were all getting set, and ready to bake :) Kayla was scheduled to work today around 3:35pm, and was able to begin the baking friday adventure with us :) We were all very excited about the adventure :) Lots of great spirit all around :) each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we've recieved from family and friends over the years :)these nice supplies, our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more, are always a big part of our cooking and baking each week :) earlier, i had prepared some nice wheat pretzel dough, so that the dough could rise up, and we'd be able to make some huge pretzels :) we were all set, and ready, and our kitchen was all set :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) we were so happy Kayla was able to join in on helping prepare the sugar cookie bars :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever" :) she loves to pick out the eggs :) She selected the egg, and we began to add the ingredients to the bowl :) the kids love to help, and they get so proud, when they get to add the ingredients, and super stirring :) We added in some brown sugar, and also some white sugar :) We were sharing smiles, as we super stirred the cookies :) Kayla helped out for a little while, and she then got ready for work :)

Little Hunter was so proud, to be super stirring, and he's learning a lot about baking :) Colby, Jacob, and Brayden all helped today too :) my mom and Jenn came into the kitchen, it was awesome, lots of baking friday spirit :) You all are always right there with us in spirit :) We were having lots of fun ,sharing smiles, as we prepared the cookie bars :) We added a box of reese's pieces candies, and of course, we all had some of the candies before adding the rest of the box to the cookie dough :) i used vegetable oil to grease the cookie baking pan, and i then spread the cookie dough into the pan, and then put the cookie bars into the oven to bake! : )

As the cookies were baking, we began to prepare the wheat pretzels :) it's a really easy recipe i prepared earlier today :) 1 cup of warm water, 1 packet of yeast, i added in some salt, about a pinch of salt, and a tablespoon of brown sugar :) i then added in wheat flour, and stirred it, until the pretzel dough became really good :) earlier this afternoon, i covered the dough with a paper towel, and put the dough into the microwave to sit for about an hour :) the dough rised nicely :)

The kids were very excited to make pretzels :) i cut the dough into portions, and we all began to make the pretzels :) we were having lots of fun :) we made some HUGE pretzels! :) i got some water heating up on the stove :) the recipe calls for putting the pretzels into the water for about a minute :) this helps the pretzels get even bigger :)The cookies finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) i greased another baking pan, with vegetable oil, and then put the pretzels onto the pan, and put butterspray on the pretzels :) i then put the pretzels into the oven to bake :)

We did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) the kids were all so excited :) they couldn't wait for the cookies and pretzels to be all set to enjoy :) The cookie bars cooled down, and i cut the cookie bars :) the kids began to dig in! :) awesome! :) the pretzels baked nicely too :) i'm gonna have a pretzel this evening :) i love the pretzels with ranch salad dressing, and a nice salad :) yum! :) it was awesome baking goodies today :) i thanked the kids for helping, and will thank Kayla tomorrow, for helping us begin the adventure today :) We love baking friday, and have many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) A very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of awesome baking, and cooking this week :) We love to hear about the nice goodies and foods you all cook and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i wish we all could gather and have a baking friday picnic :) Reese's Pieces Sugar cookie bars, and Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the awesome spirit of the season :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) June 16th, 2017 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
