calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters! :) Cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) a sweet heart-felt, and wonderful joining in the kitchen, Fall Harvest themed baking friday adventure!!! :) A special thank you, for my mom and Alyssa :) Hi angel friends! :)we wish you all could come over, to enjoy some baking friday goodies with us :) We got some nice warm pumpkin spiced muffins, homemade,and really smells so nice, and delicious :) The Fall season is upon us, and soon we'll be having more and more, of that cool crisp autumn air, the joys of the golden brightful and delightful fall foilage, and all of the wholesome heart warming festivities, and traditions, that makes the season very special, and memorable :)
From Pumpkin Picking, to visits to the Apple Orchards :) You can tell, that fall spirit is in the air :) There's hints of the season, already beginning to arrive :) from the beautiful changing of the seasons :) The golden bright mornings, the early evenings during sunset hour, glowing in the sky :) The sweet joys, of the return of many of the autumn birds, and the amazing happiness, of times with family and friends :) Fall is, and always will be, my favorite season :) as September rolls around, i begin to think of fall, and the happiness it brings to my heart, each and every season :) There's just something about it, that warms my heart very much :) i'm looking forward to greeting, and welcoming that autumn sun, and having my 1st cup of apple cider, very soon :) i got a pumpkin spiced iced coffee at starbucks yesterday evening :) it was really delicious :) i used my nice gift card our dear friends Jasmine (Butterfly85) and her family sent me :) 
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a nice friday :) it's really setting in now, that fall is around the corner. :) it's getting so close. :) i am very excited, and thrilled about this wonderful approaching season :) i've been thinking of all of our fun fall baking friday adventures, Halloween themed baking friday's :) Earlier today, my niece Alyssa, was showing me some cool ideas, for halloween baking :) We're gonna be having a HUGE baking season, this fall, and even these countdown to the fall season baking friday's, we're very excited about :)
It was a little quieter in the kitchen today, but still wholesome. :) our baking friday adventures, will be a little different, until about November. Jenn and Mike, with Mikey, have gotten a bit busier with their schedules, and sometimes Taylynn isn't into the mood to bake. Kayla joined the track team at school, mondays/wednesdays/fridays. She's always been there i nthe ktichen, and really missed her in the kitchen today, but i'm very happy she's enjoying the season, and participating with some of her classmates. definitely looking forward to her returning to the baking friday kitchen with us in November :) my mom and niece Alyssa, joined me today, in the kitchen :)
i wanted to put together a special pumpkin harvest themed baking friday adventure :) i thought it would be really nice, to begin some countdown to fall season themes :) i love to bake, and to cook, and knowing that during these upcoming 6 to 8 weeks, where Kayla is gonna be busy after school now on friday's, i want to keep this tradition going, that's been going, since September 21st, 2007 :) for now, it will be, "Who wants to bake with Chris!" when it comes to friday's :) i'm still planning on being in the baking friday kitchen, every friday :) it's a wholesome tradition, that my family and i love very much ,and i'm very happy, my mom and Alyssa helped bake today :) we love to bake as a family, for as long as we can remember :) i remember when i was a kid, baking with my mom ,and sister Lisa . :)
This morning, it was a really beautiful sunny cool morning ,as that sweet September sun, began to rise and shine :) i was very excited, to begin my day, with a peaceful nature walk :) i love to bring a nice big bowl of goodies, outside, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i enjoyed checking in on our plants too :) i can't wait to pick our gourds pumpkins, grapes, potatoes, and corn :) lots of wholesome harvesting, this time of the year :) it was a really relaxing, peaceful morning :) i went out into our kitchen, with our nice fall harvest banner, and i decorated, with the theme :) decorating has always been, a big part of baking friday, and always will be :) i love to get into the spirit of the baking friday themes :) i brewed a nice iced coffee, and also made a nice healthy lunch :) during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) shortly before 3pm, i went out into our kitchen, got our muffins baking pans/baking cups :)
my mom, Alyssa, and i then added the ingredients, to the bowl :) my mom got the eggs today, from the fridge :) earlier in the day, she and my dad went shopping, it was so nice, of them to pick up some flour, and sugar, for our baking friday adventure :) i was wearing my apron, and had our kitchen towels, and oven mits in the kitchen too :) These nice baking friday supplies, are very special to us, that we have recieved throughout the years, from family and friends :) we use the supplies a lot, for all of our baking, and cooking :) We added the ingredients we had, into the big bowl, and my niece Alyssa stirred :) i felt very thankful, that my mom and Alyssa, were helping me bake :) i was a bit emotional, i missed the kids being in the kitchen, but we definitely keeping the tradition going, and looking forward to Kayla joining in on the baking friday fun again :) i know it's a bit different, without her in the kitchen, but she's with us in spirit :)
my mom scooped the pumpkin muffins mix, into the baking cups with Alyssa and i, and we had a nice 14 pumpkin muffins :) i couldn't wait to smell the muffins baking in the oven :) i put the muffins into the oven to bake :) i was talking with my mom, and Alyssa, about some more goodies i'd love to bake, during the fall season, and halloween season : )i love to get creative, with the halloween baking, making lots of themed goodies and treats :) the pumpkin muffins baked really nicely, we love pumpkin muffins, they are really delicious :) i'm thankful, for all of the special memories being made, from all of our adventures, and hoping the kids and i are all reunited in the kitchen soon. i know i write a little more spirited, on friday's usually, but as a human, with feelings, i feel sad today a bit, because i miss our little bakers in the kitchen, but i think once November rolls around, we'll be back to our normal routine. i knew Mikey and Taylynn don't always bake, i could always count on Kayla to be there in the kitchen, it just felt a bit different today, but the tradition continues :) Thank you all for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) We love sharing our adventures, and hearing about all of the nice goodies you all are baking, and cooking, throughout the week, and on baking friday :) Family, Friends, Baking friday :)
We're enjoying a FALL-ISH DAY! :) my family and i are doing well :) we're so very happy, and excited about the approaching fall season :) the cool crisp air, and all of the festivities, and traditions, that will make the season so much fun, and very memorable :) my family and i feel very blessed, and thankful to have the amazing opportunity, to be able to share in, and celebrate these very special times with you all, our dear friends :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) The weekend is arriving, with lots of excitement :) it's gonna be a great weekend! :) Tomorrow, we're gonna go shopping at the dollar store :) i want to buy some gifts, goodies, and treasures :) i'm gonna browse at the halloween items :) they've been putting more and more halloween items on the shelves there :) i may buy a cool inflatable ghost decorative, for my halloween town/computer room :) i'm having so much fun, decorating my halloween town :) i'm going to do some more decorating, this weekend, including decorating my 3 halloween trees, and also going to be adding batteries to my 3 trees :) i'm so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled! :) on sunday, it's football sunday, the Redskins have a game vs the Jaguars :) i look forward to cheering them on :) i love sharing our weekend adventures, in my journals :) i'll be taking lots of new pictures this upcoming weekend too :) There's many more great things, and amazing times to look forward too :) tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) We love to talk, and are going to watch an episode of Ghost Adventures and an episode of Most Haunted show :) it's our paranormal shows party night :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP PUMPKIN HUG! : )Fall season is coming! :) We hope everyone enjoys a great weekend! :)
