"it's time for some fall season baking!"- my family and i said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters and scarecrows! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters and scarecrows! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters and scarecrows unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and sweet wholesome, Pumpkins and Apples themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) our kitchen is smelling like pumpkin and apples, on this sweet september day! :) we are counting down the days, until fall season arrives :) We had so much fun today, enjoying a wholesome Welcome Fall season, themed baking friday adventure :) We used some apples from our apple trees, to bake some apple crisp too! :) we love these special times, and are so thrilled, to celebrate the new season with everyone :) It's a wonderful time, as the seasons change :) It's time to get the kitchen cozy warm, with some fall season baking :) come on over, for some yummy baking friday goodies :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Colby, Jacob, Brayden, and i had a fun time, baking some pumpkin cupcakes, and apple crisp :) yum! :) The treats came out great! :) We are into the spirit of the new season :) earlier today, i was outside gathering some apples, that fell from our trees, and wanted to use the apples, to bake some apple crisp :) i was so happy, to gather the apples, and enjoying getting the apples ready for baking :) It's a wholesome time of the year, as the seasons are beginning to transition now, and we have lots of apples to pick from our trees :) This is just the beginning, of our season full of fall season themed baking friday adventures :) We're so happy and excited! :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a beautiful day :) i'm feeling better today, than i have in recent days :) i'm so glad, and thankful :) Thank you all for your heart-felt well wishes, and prayers :) i'm so relieved, to be feeling better, and was able to plan a full baking friday adventure today :) i woke up feeling better, and continuing to take very good care :) drinking plenty of hot tea, i also had some cough drops, and took 2 tylenol last evening :) i'm about 75%, and on the mend still, and i'm hopeful to feel even closer to 100% tomorrow, for a sweet day to go out shopping :)
This morning, we had a beautiful new september day, rising and shining :) i love to wish my family and friends, a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) i was in a wholesome nature spirit to begin the day, as i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning nature walk :) i love to put the goodies around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) it's a nice sunny day, and the birds and squirrels were all out and about, gathering goodies :) it was a wonderful start to the new day :) i could tell early on today, that i was feeling better too, and i'm so thankful for that blessing :)
i gathered up some nice, fall harvest themed decorations, for our kitchen :) i love to decorate, for fall season :) i decorated with a pumpkins harvest theme today :) i came up with the idea, for pumpkin cupcakes to bake, and also the apple crisp :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i cooked a nice lunch today :) i had some nice baked potatoes, and i also had some soup :) lunch was delicious! :) i texted friends during the day, to wish everyone a happy baking friday :) i enjoyed another nature walk, around mid-day :) i also tended our plants, the plants needed some water :) i was so happy, to get to tend the plants, and saw some butterflies visiting our yard :)
We've had some apples that fell from our trees, i gathered up those apples today, they were all in good shape :) i wanted to bake some apple crisp, and i thought it would be great, to include the apple crisp in our baking friday adventure :) We have a very special shoutout for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they went out to shop today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) We all love to chip in each week, to get the baking friday supplies :) my mom and dad also picked up some orange juice for me. :) During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends, and i also went over to the bank to cash my check and withdraw some money, for doing online surveys/swagbucks :) shortly before 3pm, Alyssa and the triplets came over :) i went out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) Jenn, Mike, Mikey, and baby Hunter, went to a wedding today, for Mike's sister :) Mikey was definitely with us in spirit, during our baking friday adventure :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home, shortly after 3pm :) we were all very excited, about baking friday :) Taylynn sometimes joins in on the fun :) The triplets, got their little chairs, and were so excited to help bake :) We were all set, and ready! :) Kayla's such a great helper in the kitchen, a special shoutout to Kayla, she helps a lot, and we're teaching the kids how to bake :) They're learning a lot :) We began our super fun, happy fall season themed baking friday adventure! :)
We first began to prepare the apple crisp :) i washed, and sliced the apples, and we added in some cream of wheat cereal, into a pie baking dish :) We then added in the apples, and cinnamon :) The triples, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden were adding the cinnamon :) Kayla and i love to encourage them, and they get so proud, when they get to add in the ingredients :) we sprinkled some nice brown sugar, and coconut sugar on top of the apples, and then added some oatmeal to the apples too :) it was then time to bake the apple crisp :) i put the apple crisp into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) within minutes, our kitchen began to smell like apples and cinnamon :) yum! :)
We began to prepare, the pumpkin cupcakes :) we used vanilla cake mix, and pumpkin pie filling :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) Awww! :) Soon, we're gonna teach the triplets how to crack open the eggs :) i remember when Kayla cracked open her first egg, in 2007, during one of our early baking friday adventures, when the tradition began :) We love all of these awesome times, sharing baking friday smiles, and great memories being made :) We love all of the joys, of baking :) You all are always right there with us in spirit in our kitchen, and we'rre with you all in spirit too :) We added the ingredients into the bowl, with some water, and vegetable oil, and Super Stirred! :) i got some baking cups, and added those cups to the cupcake baking pan :) Kayla and i then showed the triplets, how to add the cupcakes mix, into the baking cups :) They were looking on, and so excited, to learn :) i then put the cupcakes into the oven to bake! :)
As the goodies were baking, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out with my mom, dad, and Alyssa :) The kids went outside to play for a bit :) The cupcakes finishing baking first, and then the apple crisp :) i opened up our oven to smell the sweet scent of the goodies baking, wow! :) i love pumpkins and apples/cinnamon scent :) The treats came out great :) my dad said, "i want to bring a cupcake to work with me" :) cool! :) We're very proud of the goodies we baked, and we want to have many more fall season, and halloween season themed baking friday adventures :) Kayla is gonna be baking halloween goodies with us this year :) her track and field schedule changed, so she'll be able to bake halloween goodies with us :) We're so happy and excited :)

We're enjoying a nice day :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) my family and i are so happy, the weekend is arriving :) i'm continuing to take good care :) i haven't felt 100% in recent days, and today, but have been taking good care, and hopeful to feel much better, by tomorrow :) i've been less achey today, but my throat has been hurting. i'm having plenty of hot tea, and also been having some soups :) i really want to go shopping tomorrow :) i feel like i've gotten way ahead of the cold, and i think i'll be well enough, to shop :) i want to go to the dollar store, and maybe walmart too :) it's gonna be nice, to shop, i want to browse around :) i may buy a new pair of jeans :) on sunday, i'm gonna watch football :) i love football sunday's :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and new pictures, in my weekend journals :) There's lots more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch a new episode of ghost adventures, and Most haunted show, on youtube :) We love our paranormal night party night :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for my family and i :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG! :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)
