baking friday :) Pumpkin Cookies, Cheese Pizza :) my mom and Lisa baked with me today :)

An awesome, Old school, baking adventure, with my mom and sister Lisa today! :) (the kids having a busy day), but will return to baking next week :) my mom, Lisa, and i have been hanging out today, and having some awesome talks, baking goodies, and enjoying a spirited November day! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a sweet wholesome, cozy warm kitchen, cookies, and pizza, Thanksgiving Season themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) with a very special warm welcome to my mom, and sister Lisa in the kitchen today, for some awesome baking friday fun! :) oh those pumpkin cookies, came out super yummy delicious!!! and the hot cheese pizza, is great! :) come on over, for a pizza, and cookies party in the kitchen! :) awww! :) we really wish you all could come over to enjoy some baking friday goodies with us :) my mom, Lisa, and i had a really sweet time today, enjoying hanging out, and had a great baking friday adventure this afternoon :) we've been talking about Thanksgiving, all of the cooking, baking, and countdown, to the wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, and Christmas season :) during these special joyful times, we feel your loving spirits with us, and we're with you all in spirit too :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my mom, sister Lisa, and i baked pumpkin cookies, and a nice cheese pizza, with butter garlic crust :) Yummy!!! :) my sister Lisa has some days off from work, as she recovers from her recent dental surgery, and with the kids having a busy day today (Kayla at the school dance, Jenn working, and Mikey being home, and Taylynn resting after school), my sister Lisa and my mom said, they would love to help me bake goodies :) awww! :) this is so nice, and sweet of them :) The kids will be returning to the kitchen with us next week, for our annual Happy Thanksgiving themed baking friday adventure :)
We hope everyone is doing well, keeping warm, and enjoying a beautiful November day :) we're all keeping warm here, it's a chilly day, about 40 degrees outside around mid-day today. We had some light snowfall overnight, but it didn't stick to the ground. it's been beautifully sunny, and chilly/windy here today. This morning, i wished my family a happy baking friday, and i love to share with them, all of your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) Thank you angel friends :) with my sister Lisa home, we've been hanging out :) She's been healing really well, she had dental surgery on wednesday, and is getting about 4 or 5 days off from work :) She's feeling better, and was excited about getting to join in on the baking friday fun today :) She's the professional pizza maker in our family :)
Lisa has made and baked pizza's, for about 20 years now :) She first began in the mid-1990's, at Pizza Hut, then Papa Gino's for about 9 years, and then, Domino's pizza :) She loves to make pizza's :) i was thrilled, about her joining in on the baking friday fun, especially with us baking a pizza today :) my early years, of learning to bake, i remember my mom and Lisa, baking with me :) way before our baking friday tradition was born in 2007, i remember when i was a kid, and began to join my mom and Lisa, for when they baked chocolate chip cookies, and brownies, and made chocolate pudding :) i remember when i was shorter than the top of our kitchen counter area! :) hehe! :) it was so special, those early years, getting to bake, and enjoying all of the treats :) The chocolate chip cookies have always been a very wonderful favorite of ours, and the tradition, of baking has continued on, throughout the years, to these current days, baking with the kids, and i'm always so happy too, when my mom and Lisa are out in the kitchen with us too, baking :) special memories, we always cherish, and treasure :)
We had an awesome morning, rising and shining into the brand new day :) i enjoyed a nice nature walk this morning :) our wonderful nature animal friends, love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i put extra goodies outside, i bundled up for my nature walk this morning, as it was in the 30's here. a beautiful sunrise, glowing nature, and it was so nice, to see our nature animal friends gathering goodies :) the sparrows love to wait for me, alongside the fences, as i put the goodies out there for them :) it was such a nice morning :) my mom and Lisa went to the store early this morning, they wanted to pick up baking friday supplies, and some items at the store :)
When my mom and Lisa arrived home, they were very excited! :) They got some awesome deals! :) they got, breakfast sandwiches (griddles, pancakes, sausages), all kinds of yummy frozen foods, on sale, for $1, and for 30 cents! :) WOW! :) they really stocked up, and gave me some of the goodies to have for breakfast in the upcoming days, and week :) they also picked up baking friday supplies :) i thanked my mom and Lisa :) i had an awesome time, talking with my mom and Lisa, while decorating our kitchen :) i decorated, with a Fall harvest/Thanksgiving theme :) our kitchen looked great! :) i cooked a nice lunch, and also went back outside, for a nice 2nd nature walk of the day :) i called our dear friend Holly, for the late morning nature walk :) i put more bird seeds outside :)
It was a really layed back, relaxing afternoon, i enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends, and then around 2:50pm, i went back out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) We had all of our nice baking supplies, oven mits, kitchen towels, i had my nice apron, hot mats, and washed our baking pans :) we get lots of nice use, from our baking friday supplies, we have recieved from family and friends over the years :) these special supplies, are always a big part of our cooking, and baking :) we keep the oven mits out on the kitchen counter, every day, they are enjoyed, as we use the mits, for cooking, and while baking goods :) yesterday, my mom baked some nice homemade macaroni and cheese :) yum! :) Lisa and Alyssa went to pick up Taylynn from school :) When she arrived home, she got her tablet computer, and had her snack, and juice, and was resting in the living room :)
my mom, Lisa, and i began to bake some goodies :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :) We began our awesome, fun, and wholesome adventure :)the kids were definitely with us in spirit :) we first began, by preparing the pumpkin cookies :) We wanted to make nice big soft cookies :) We used the same cookie recipe for peanut butter cookies, to make the pumpkin cookies :) all we changed, was that instead of peanut butter, we added in a can of pumpkin pie filling :) my sister Lisa got the best egg today, she was helping add the ingredients into the bowl :) we added lots of cinnamon, into the cookie dough too :) Lisa stirred the cookie dough, and i got the baking pans all set :) i used butter to grease the pans :) my mom joined in, she and Lisa, and i each made the cookie dough balls, and put the cookies onto the baking pans :) i couldn't wait to try the pumpkin cookies! :) i put the cookies into the oven to bake :) our kitchen was nice and cozy warm, and smelled so nice, with the cookies baking :)
While the cookies were baking, it was time to prepare the cheese pizza :) my sister Lisa hand tossed the pizza dough :)i was watching on, as i knew she had lots of experience over the years, of hand tossing the dough :) Lisa often talks about how her favorite day of the year, for pizza making, is superbowl sunday, because they get lots of pizza orders :) my mom, Lisa, and i were having a fun time, hanging out in the kitchen :) Lisa put the pizza crust on the pizza pan, and we then spread the pizza sauce, and mozzarella cheese, onto the pizza :) i put butter and garlic powder in a bowl, and heated it in the microwave, and we then drizzled the garlic butter on the pizza crust :) i then put the pizza into the oven to bake :) The 1st batch of pumpkin cookies, had finished baking :) i put another batch of the pumpkin cookies into the oven :)
i used some icing/frosting to drizzle onto the pumpkin cookies :) We were hanging out, and i tried one of the pumpkin cookies, delicious! :) wow! :) They came out really good! :) the pizza, and final batch of cookies finished baking :) i brought the goodies out of the oven :) i tried a slice of pizza, the pizza came out really nice :) i thanked my mom and Lisa, for helping bake :) i would love for them to join in on baking friday more and more, along with the kids too :) there's many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) next week, we're having our annual Happy Thanksgiving themed baking friday adventure, and gearing up for Thanksgiving week :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking :) we love hearing about the nice meals you cook, and goodies you bake :) we're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) Thank you all so very much, for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) this is so much fun, and very special :) Pumpkin Cookies, and Cheese Pizza, dedicated to family, friends, and to the spirit of wholesome Thanksgiving time :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) November 14th, 2014 :) Happy Thanksgiving season, and Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday!!! :) we love it! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) We're so excited, to have awesome days, and weeks like this, with lots of wholesome spirit of the season in the air :) it's been a week of nature walks, writing, sweet meals, and enjoying the countdown to Thanksgiving holiday :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) the weekend is arriving, with lots of spirit :) We love the weekends :) Tomorrow, i'd love to go shopping at the dollar store, and maybe walmart too :) i love to shop, and browsing around :) i want to buy some goodies, and treasures :) i'm gonna look at the collectible hotwheels cars :) Holly and i love those hotwheels, we collect them :) i'm gonna see if the walmart store has some new hotwheels :) on sunday, i'm going to write cards, and watching football :) The Redskins have a game on sunday :) it's gonna be a great weekend :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures with everyone in my journals :) i'm gonna enjoy some nature walks this weekend too : )bundling up, keeping warm :) There's lots of great things to look forward too :) tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) We love to talk, and are going to watch 2 episodes of Most Haunted show :) the new season, is really good, with some awesome spooky cool episodes :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all always warm our hearts, brighten our days, and bring us many smiles :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM SUNSHINE FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)

It's Thanksgiving Season! :) my family and i are so very happy, and excited, about celebrating the wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with everyone :) it's a wholesome time of the year :) lots of great things going on, festivities, and heart warming traditions :) it's so nice, dwelving into the spirit of the season : )We love to decorate our kitchen, for baking friday :) with the themes of the month, and traditions :) i brought out some of our Thanksgiving decorations into our kitchen today :) We love all of our wonderful decorations, we have recieved over the years :) Each one, is very special, unique, precious, and lights up our kitchen, with spirited excitement :) It's Thanksgiving Season :)
