baking friday! :)calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) A super fun, summer spirit soaring, Pickles Party themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) our kitchen smells like pickles!!! :) hehe! :) my niece Alyssa is so happy! :) She was drinking pickles juice earlier! :) She loves pickles! :) we made 9 jars of pickles today, and we had that flour flying in the air in the kitchen, and even baked some yummy breadsticks for my mom too :) aww! :) this was super mega sweet awesome!!! :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some yummy baking friday goodies with us :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today the kids and i baked some nice pretzels, breadsticks with parmesan cheese, and we made 9 jars of homemade dill pickles :) oh wow! :) it turned into a pickles party in the kitchen!!! :) we love it! :) It's summer time, and we love to have our fridge filled with jars of pickles :) Today, we were rocking and rolling in the kitchen, as the kids were joining in, on the baking friday fun, including baby Hunter, who came out into the kitchen, and he was sharing some smiles with us :) awww! :) we love, and treasure all of these awesome times being shared, and lots of great memories being made :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day :) Today, we had our annual pickles themed baking friday adventure :) i've been looking forward to it all week, because just like my niece Alyssa, i absolutely LOVE!!! pickles! :) one of my favorite snacks :) it's awesome times, summer season in full swing, and we feel the spirit and energy in the air :) this morning, i was wishing my family a happy baking friday, and i shared with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) thank you angel friends! :) We're so excited, with summer time here, and all of the nature, gardening joys, we love to have a special time each summer, making homemade pickles :) it's spirit of summer time, all around :)
i'm so excited, to share about our adventure, and this super cool day! :) the summer sun was rising and shining this morning, as i gathered a big bowl of goodies, for our nature animal friends, and went outside to put the goodies around our yard, and checked in on our plants :) i love seeing our sunflowers greeting us, with sunny smiles :) it's an amazing joy, hearing the birds, and the summer time sunshine, golden bright, lighting up our yard with the excitement of a beautiful summer day :) it was a rocking, and sunshine rolling morning! :) we have a very special shoutout, for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they picked up baking friday supplies today :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) We love to chip in each week, to get the baking friday supplies :) we got 5 cucumbers, a gallon of vinegar, plus some dill pickle seasoning, and some yeast :) we were all set :)
the day was rocking, as the morning was going on, i went out into our kitchen to decorate, for our super fun adventure :) i knew all of the kids, would be coming over to help bake today :) my niece Alyssa was so excited too, she LOVES pickles, and loves to drink pickles juice too! :) hehe! :) i decorated our kitchen nicely, and made a nice lunch :) around mid-day, i had another fun nature walk, and during the early afternoon, i spent some time here on ds, writing to friends :) Alyssa and the triplets came over, after 2pm, and around 2:50pm, i went back out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) i got the huge cooking pot going with water, vinegar, and the dill pickle seasoning, i had the oven heating up, and i got all of our pickles jars, and i began to wash, and slice the cucumbers into our 3 favorite kinds of pickles shapes :) Chips, Spears, and Vlassic sandwich style pickles slices :) i had 4 plates full of cucumbers! :) WOW!!! :) Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over :) We were all getting ready, to begin baking :) We love to get our picture taken in the kitchen, and today, baby Hunter got his picture taken too :) awww! :) he was smiling and smiling, and is growing a lot :) he was so interested, to see everyone :) We were all set, and ready to begin our super fun adventure :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we have recieved over the years :) aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more :) They are always a very special part of our cooking, and baking, each week :) throughout the course of the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :) we were all set, and ready to bake :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) as the dill pickle juice was cooking on the stove, Alyssa and i tried some of the juice, it's super dill! :) we love it! :) awesome!!! :) we began to get the jars of pickles ready :) i was using a laddle, to stir the pickles juice :) we stuffed the canning jars, with cucumbers, and in some of the jars, we added in, some nice minced garlic, and in 1 jar, i added some pickled jalapeno peppers, to make that jar of pickles, a little spicy :) our kitchen smelled great! :) once the pickle juice began to boil, i then used the laddle, to add the pickle juice, to the canning jars with the cucumbers :) we made, 9 jars of pickles! :) WOW!!! :) We love pickles! :) this is awesome!!! :) we used all of the pickle juice today, which is really nice :) i put the jars of pickles, on a nice tray, on our stove :) We began to get ready, to prepare the breadsticks, and pretzels :)
my mom bought some nice pizza/bread dough :) Kayla, Mikey, and i, and the triplets, put some flour on the counter, and we began to roll the bread dough :) i used butter, to grease one of the baking pans :) we put the dough on the pan, and i used melted butter/garlic powder, for topping on the breadsticks :) i pu tthe breadsticks into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) our kitchen was smelling so nice, and we were having such a fun time, preparing the goodies :) sharing lots and lots of smiles :) baking friday teamwork! :) we began to prepare the pretzeks :) We love pretzels, and have made many, over the years :) one of our favorite goodies to bake :)
We added some water, and a packet of yeast into the bowl, and then added in, some vegetable oil, sugar, salt, and 1 cup of flour, at a time :) there was about 4 or 5 cups of flour :) we had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen too! :) hehe! :) We were having an awesome fun time, you all are always right there with us in spirit, in the kitchen :) my mom, Alyssa, and Jenn were coming out into the kitchen too :) it was great! :) We stirred the pretzel dough, and then put the pretzel dough on the counter :) on the stove, i had some water heating up, to boil the pretzels, before we bake them :) i cut the dough, into portions, and then Kayla and i were teaching the triplets, how to make the shaped pretzels :) Alyssa was watching on, the kids were very proud to show their mom (Alyssa), how they can make pretzels :) awww! :)
i was boiling the pretzels, in the water on the stove, as we had lots of pretzels :) the quick 1 and a half minute boil, makes the pretzels get larger :) i greased a baking pan with butter, and then we drizzled butter on the pretzels :) i then put the pretzels into the oven to bake :) the breadsticks, i put some parmesan cheese on, and sliced the breadsticks :) we were all digging in, having some :) my mom had some, she loves them :) the pretzels baked for a good half hour, they got nicely golden brown on top of the pretzels :) yum! :) this was so nice :) i was cleaning up the kitchen, and thanked Kayla, Mikey, and the triplets, for helping bake :) we gave a jar of pickles for Jenn and Mikey to bring home, and Alyssa got a jar of pickles too :)
We had lots of fun today, baking, and making pickles :) i put the pickles into the fridge :) i want to have some pickles and a couple pretzels for snack tonight :) yum! :) i love dipping the pretzels into Ranch and Italian salad dressing. delicious! :) We love baking friday, and are so excited, for all of these very special memories being made :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking this week :) We love hearing about the nice foods you all cook and bake :) i wish we all could gather, and have an awesome baking friday picnic :) Homemade Pretzels, and Pickles, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit of the season :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) July 24th, 2015 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
PRAYERS REQUEST! Hi angel friends. we have a very special prayers request, for my dear, and lovely mom, my mom had her blood work test, and is awaiting results. she may have low blood sugar, or low blood count. please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers. she hasn't feel 100% in a week. we're keeping a close eye on her, and helping her, as she rests. also, our dear friends Judy (Ladybug7), her husband Denny, and their family. Judy had a procedure today, and is in the ICU at the hospital, with getting treatments. please keep my mom, Judy, Denny, and their family in your thoughts and prayers, and please send healing energy. We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) it's been a big week, with lots going on :) We cherish the special times, and sharing in these times, with you and your family's :) my muscles are less sore, from my fall the other day. i'm feeling better. i'll keep everyone updated, on how we all are doing. The weekend is arriving with lots of spirit, of summer time :) tomorrow, i'd love to go shopping, at the dollar store, and maybe walmart too :) i want to buy some gifts, goodies, treasures, some writing supplies, it'll be nice browsing around the store :) i want to look at the collectible hotwheels cars at walmart :) i may do some light gardening this weekend too :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone, in my weekend journals :) the summer season is in full swing :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 awesome episodes, of "most haunted" show on youtube :) We love our friday night, paranormal night :) it's gonna be great :) my family and i thank you angel friends, so very much, for all thast you do for us :) You all always warm our hearts, and brighten our days :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY SUMMER WEEKEND HUGS! :) We hope everyone enjoys a great weekend :)

Once the pickle juice had gotten to a boil, i used a laddle to add the pickle juice to the jars, and then sealed the jars :)

We melted butter, and drizzeled the butter with a little salt, onto the pretzels before we baked them :)
