baking friday :) Pizza Bagels, and Pretzels :) Party in the kitchen! :)

"Pizza bagels and Pretzels!"- my little niece Taylynn, and little nephew Mikey said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, Pizza and Pretzels themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) we had the flour flying, and we had some awesome baking friday teamwork going on in the kitchen today! :) wow! Taylynn and Mikey have come very far, into their baking knowledge, learning, and baking all kinds of goodies :) they are learning so much, and today, they did a great job, helping out, as we were one baker short today, Kayla went to a nice Valentine's dance at her school :) Taylynn and Mikey filled in very well, by helping out, and i must say, i am very very proud, and impressed! :) they were putting the sauce and cheese on the bagels, and they also were rolling the pretzels :) we missed having Kayla in the kitchen today, but she was definitely with us in spirit :) She'll be returning to the baking friday fun next week :) i first wanted to begin this journal by saying, a round of applause, and a COOL dude and COOL dudette message, for Taylynn and Mikey! :) they did really well today, and we're all so very proud of them, and Kayla :) they are our little bakers! :) awww! :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some baking friday goodies with us :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Taylynn, Mikey, and i baked pretzels, and pizza bagels :) it was lots of fun :) the treats came out great! :) we put a nice plate together for my sister Jenn and Mikey to bring home with them :) Mikey was very proud :) awww! :) We have so much fun, with our baking friday adventures :) Thank you all for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) this is lots of fun, and a sweet joy. :) We hope everyone is enjoying a great day! :)
This morning, a sweet new morning was rising and shining :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday, and love to share with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) Taylynn mentioned that today, she was gonna be filling in for Kayla in the kitchen, by helping Mikey and i :) awww! :) We all are like a baking friday team :) we use lots of baking friday teamwork in the kitchen each week :) this is awesome! :) i began my day with a nice nature walk, lots of the snow and ice has been melting, and it's raining here today. it's like a winter thaw, and soon spring time will be arriving :) i put lots and lots of goodies around our yard this morning, for our wonderful nature animal friends :) the birds, and squirrels love their baking friday breakfast feasts :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear, and lovely mom, and dad :) they went out to the grocery store today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) We all love to chip in each week, to get the supplies :) Around mid-morning, i gathered some nice decorative kitchen towels, and our baking friday supplies, and ventured out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) i love to get our kitchen ready : )i cooked a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, i spent some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) shortly before 3pm, i went out into our kitchen, i was washing some baking pans, and getting the stove area and counter area ready for our super fun adventure :) Jenn and Mikey came over and around 3:20pm, Taylynn arrived home from school :) Mikey was very excited, he loves when our kitchen is all set for baking friday :) We were gearing up to bake goodies :) We got our picture takne in the kitchen :) Each week, my family and i love to use our nice kitchen and baking supplies we have recieved over the years :) oven mits, kitchen towels, pot holders, measuring cups :) all of our supplies, are so nice, and we get lots of nice use from each supply we have :) i texted friends throughout the day, to wish them a happy baking friday :) our kitchen was all set and ready, and we were all set, and ready to bake! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! : ) Taylynn, Mikey, and i first began to prepare the pretzels :) it's a very easy recipe, and is lots of fun, with many steps, to making the pretzels :) i got a pot of water heating up on the stove :) We added into a bowl, a cup of water, with a packet of yeast, some vegetable oil, mixed in with some salt, and sugar :) it was then time for the FLOUR!!! :) Mikey and Taylynn each took turns, adding the flour , and we also added in some extra water too, to give the dough some nice texture to make the dough nice and soft :) We were having lots of fun preparing the dough, Kayla was definitely with us in spirit in the kitchen :) i love to mention to my family, about the nice goodies you all bake, and cook throughout the week :) We're always with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) After we had prepared the dough, i cut the dough into smaller portions :)
Taylynn, Mikey, and i began to roll the portions of dough, to make into pretzels shape :) Taylynn and i were teaching Mikey :) he's learning a lot, we all learn so much, during our adventures, and baking over the years :) it's so nice, passing down the baking friday learning, and i love these moments, when we're in the kitchen ,seeing Kayla teach Taylynn, and Taylynn teaching Mikey, it's lots of fun, and baking friday teamwork we love very much, as we share lots of smiles, baking goodies :) i used a metal spatula to put the pretzels into the water which was boiling, this helps make the pretzels get a bit bigger :) Taylynn and Mikey helped grease the baking pans, they used butter to grease the pans, and i then put the pretzels onto the baking pans :) i put extrea buttr into the measuring cup to melt some butter, and Mikey, Taylynn, and i each spread butter onto the pretzels, and sprinkled salt onto the pretzels too :) i then put the pretzels into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)
i love the scent of pretzels baking :) each time we bake pretzels, it brings back lots of memories for me, of when my family and i use too buy those giant pretzels with the salt, at the stores :) as the pretzels were baking ,we then prepared the pizza bagels :) We had bagels, and some small thin bread sandwich rolls :) they were already pre-sliced :) we used butter to grease 2 more baking pans, and we then put the bagels/bread rolls onto the pans :) Mikey, and Taylynn spread the pizza sauce onto the bagels, and breads, and we then spread mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce :) we had some extra cheese left, Mikey, Taylynn, and i shared the rest of the cheese :) i put the pizza bagels into the oven to bake :) As the goodies were baking, i did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) Taylynn recently got some play-foods, where she loves to play store/register, and she and Mikey were playing with the play foods :) i was hanging out with my mom, dad, and sister Jenn in the living room, and also checking in on the pretzels, and pizza bagels :) The goodies finished baking, i brought them out of the oven, and put the pizza bagels and pretzels onto plates :) i was showing everyone the goodies, we tried some, they came out super delicious! :) i thanked Taylynn and Mikey for helping bake goodies :) Kayla arrived home from the school and dance earlier, we showed her the treats :) she loves pretzels, and my sister Lisa came home from work, and had some of the goodies too :) it's a baking friday party! :) We love it!!! :)

We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) We're so very happy, thankful, and blessed to have the wonderful opportunity, to experience great days, and times like this, celebrating in all of these very special times with everyone :) the weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) tomorrow, we're going to go shopping at the dollar store :) i'm going to buy some goodies, and treasures :) i'm very excited about our adventure, and the weekend :) on sunday, i'm going to write cards, notes, putting together treasures packages, and also going to begin to decorate my writing area with a nice spring/March theme :) it's gonna be a great weekend :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures with everyone in my journals :) it's been a really nice week, and there's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) we love to talk, and watching ghost adventures :) it's paranormal night on the travel channel, plus a brand new episode of ghost adventures tomorrow night :) my family and i are very blessed :) We thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) we deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully safe, fun, and happy weekend :)

Preparing the Pretzels and Pizza bagels :) We had our ingredients all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake some yummy goodies! :) We love baking friday, and are so happy to enjoy these awesome times, sharing lots and lots of fun, smiles, and great memories being made :)
Taylynn and Mikey were preparing the pretzels :) we made a huge batch of pretzel dough :) it's a very easy, and fun recipe, with lots of fun steps to making the pretzels :) the pretzels came out very nice and soft, they are perfect plain, or with a nice salad, or ranch salad dressing, even some mustard :) we love pretzels! :)
