baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :)cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a Super fun, flour flying, summer time themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) The triplets were joining in on the baking friday fun today :) We had the flour flying ,and Kayla and i were teaching them about baking :) After we baked the cookies, and they had cooled down, we began a cookies party! :) hehe! :) it was awesome! :) It's a spirited day, summer season is in full swing, and there's lots more great things to look forward too :) We wish you all could come over, to enjoy some baking friday goodies :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked some nice peanut butter cookies, and also made 5 more jars of fresh homemade garden salsa, using some tomatoes and peppers from our garden :) We gave a jar of Salsa for my niece Alyssa to bring home :) She loves to cook salsa chicken, and sometimes brings some over for us :) it's really good :) The summer season is rocking and sunshine rolling, with lots of great things going on :) We love to share in, and celebrate these special times with you all, our dear and wonderful friends :)
This morning, we had a beautiful new summer day, rising and shining :) i love when there's a golden glow of a new day, as the sun was rising up, and the sky turning a sweet shade of blue :) The birds were out early this morning, singing :) it's such a special time, ein the summer season :) There's a great nature energy, all around :) it was a great morning :) i wished my family a happy baking friday, and i shared with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you everyone, so very much :) We've been looking forward to baking, and also making more salsa :) We love to be stocked up on lots of fresh garden salsa this time of the year :) It's been a sweet joy, to watch the tomatoes, and peppers growing, and ripening out in the garden :) This morning i gathered a big bowl of goodies, for our nature animal friends, and went out into our yard and garden :) our nature animal friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts :)
i saw some beautiful garden surprises this morning :) We have a sweet, blue morning glory flower that blossomed, and about 8, purple morning glory flowers, near our gourds pumpkins :) This is awesome!!! :) i love those nature surprises :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for our dear, and lovely mom, and dad :) Today, they went out to shop, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) We all love to chip in each week, to get the baking friday supplies :) i went out into our kitchen, around mid-morning to begin to set up, and decorate our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) my mom mentioned today, that Jenn is busy for Mikey's birthday party preparations, and that they weren't gonna be able to come over, but i knew Mikey is very excited, for his birthday, and that he will be ablel to join in, on many more baking friday adventures soon :)
i prepared a nice lunch today, cabbage soup with sweet potato, i also had some mashed potatoes, and i was having my nice iced tea with lemon :) it's one of my favorite treats :) i tended our plants after lunch, i also put some more soil, and miracle grow plant food around the stem bases of our corn plants :) i gave the plants a really good watering :) i was outside, for a good hour, tending the plants, and i put more bird seeds on the feeders :) during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends :) after 2:30pm, Alyssa and the triplets, Colby, Brayden, and Jacob came over to visit, for baking friday :) The kids were very excited :) Around 3pm, we had our kitchen all set, and ready for our super fun adventure :) Earlier i had gotten the salsa cooking on the stove. :) We used some tomatoes, and peppers from our garden, to add with the diced tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, some extra tomato sauce, onion, and some salt :) The salsa was cooking nicely :)
Each week, we get lots of great enjoyment, using our baking friday supplies we have recieved over the years, from family and friends :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more :) We keep the supplies in our kitchen, for everyone to use, when someone is cooking ,or baking :) We were all set, and ready :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :) we began our super fun adventure! :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever" :) She's always loved to pick out the best egg, over the years :) We've been having lots of fun, teaching the kids about baking :)1st, we taught Mikey, and now we're teaching the triplets, who will be turning 3 years old, on August 11th :) They're growing up :) One of the triplets, Jacob was in the kitchen with us often today, and he was so interested in seeing what we were doing :) Kayla and i let Jacon pick out the spoons for stirring the cookies :) he was selecting each spoon, and was very proud :) he also loved seeing the chef, on the kitchen towel we had in the kitchen :) he said, "that's me!" :) awww! :) very adorable! :)
We were adding the ingredients to the bowl, and began to SUPER STIR! :) We were stirring the ingredients :) i was also checking in on the salsa. :) i used a laddle spoon, to stir the salsa, it smelled very good. :) We love fresh homemade salsa, and peanut butter cookies, are my favorite cookie :) i used some butter to grease the cookie baking pans, and we put lots of cookies onto the pans :) i used a fork, to press down the cookies :) i then put the cookies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) my mom and Alyssa came out into the kitchen :) i asked my niece Alyssa if she wanted to bring home a jar of salsa later when she and the triplets go home :) She said, sure! :) cool! :) She likes to make salsa chicken, and sometimes brings some over for us :) it's really good :)
