baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters and santa claus! :) cookie monsters and santa claus! :) cookie monsters and santa claus unite! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :)A super fun, and super sweet, Christmas themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun!!! :) We had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen today, like Santa Claus and his Reindeer soaring in the Christmas sky! :) Singing Christmas songs, and spirited cheer! :) Holly helped us bake goodies today :) the goodies came out awesome! :) We're so happy and excited! :) There's lots of great things going on, and may special memories being made :) Tis The Season! :) Come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Holly, the kids, and i baked peanut butter blossoms cookies, and made candy cane peppermint bark candy :) it was so much fun! :) We love these very special times, and all of the great memories being made :) we were sharing candies, smiles, and lots of spirited cheer, as we baked up some awesome Christmas time goodies :) We're all digging in, and loving the spirit of the season :) Christmas time is here! :)

Season's Greetings! :) This morning, we had a wonderful new day, rising and shining :) A very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my family, Holly, and friends, a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :)awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to our super fun baking friday adventure :) Holiday baking is one of our favorite joys, baking lots of goodies, classic recipes, new recipes :)We love to bake at least 2 or 3 treats each week :) We feel very thankful, and blessed to have this very special tradition in our lives :) it's a very special tradition to look forward too each week, and it warms our hearts that everyone looks forward to our baking friday adventures, and pictures :) We always wish you all could come over to help us bake goodies :) You all are definitely right there with us in spirit :)

As the new day was blossoming, i was up early, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) We've had some wintery cold weather here, especially in the early mornings. i bundled up warmly, and gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) i saw some happy birds gathering in our backyard :) it always amazes me, and warms my heart, how they remember our yard, and that we have goodies available for them :) nature is amazing :) i put lots of goodies in the bird sanctuary area in our backyard, where there's trees, bird houses, bird feeders, tables :) it's a big gathering area for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :)awww! :) i saw some other birds, and mr. nut squirrel visiting :) Their breakfast today, is breads, crumbled pizza, cinnamon sticks, along with some peanuts and sunflower seeds :) i love my nature walks, and looking forward to lots more, as the season goes on :)

It was a sweet spirited early morning :) We enjoyed a nice breakfast, and i brewed a dunkins iced coffee :) Cheers! :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and Christmas decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin to set up and decorate our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) During the holiday season, i love to set up an awesome festive holiday display :) We love our wonderful Christmas decorations we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) They help make our kitchen glow with festive holiday spirit :) our kitchen looked awesome, and festive, all decorated :) it's one of my favorite joys each week, decorating :) the picture of our kitchen all decorated, is the 1st baking friday picture of the day each week :) i got some baking pans all set, and also organized the oven/stove area :) During the mid-morning, Holly and i put some sports radio on, and during the mid-day, enjoyed a nice breakfast, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and enjoying the glow of our Christmas lights, decorations ,and my Christmas town :)

my mom went to pick up the triplets, Brayden, Jacob, and Colby, around 2:45pm from school :) my mom's babysitting the triplets during their school days, as Alyssa has began a new job working as a nurse assistant at one of the local elementary schools :) Jenn and the kids came over around 3pm :) the kids were so excited, and are looking forward to Christmas :) They've been sharing with us, about some Christmas gifts they want for Christmas :) Their Christmas spirit, is awesome :) we were getting ready to bake some awesome goodies :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wore my awesome Christmas apron, that Holly is designing and making for me :) it's very nice, and sweet of her :) She added more to my Christmas apron, during the week :) i love it! :) The apron is so nice, and a wonderful treasure :) Holly's having so much fun designing the apron, she loves to paint, and is very creative and talented :) i'm very proud to wear the apron :) We also use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our baking supplies, are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) The kids and i got our picture taken in the kitchen :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake some awesome goodies :) Calling all cookie monsters and santa claus! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) The kids love to help! :) they're great helpers :) We first began preparing the candy cane peppermint bark :) it's one of our favorite treats to make :) We took the candy canes out of the wrappers, and we all began to break the candy canes, and then put the pieces into a zip lock bag, and the kids were using the spoons, to crunch the candy canes :)they were laughing, smiling! :)awesome Christmas time spirit! :) i got another bowl, and we poured the white chocolate chips into the bowl, and i put the chips into the microwave, for 1 minute :) i then stirred the chocolate, and we added in the crunched candy cane pieces :) we then added the candy canes and chocolate into a glass pie baking dish, and i put the dish into the fridge to chill :) Holly got the kids singing Jingle Bells! :) we all joined in! :)so much fun! :) We're so happy, Holly was helping us bake today :)

We began to prepare the peanut butter blossoms cookies :) my mom, Jenn, and little Carter, and Brodie came out into the kitchen, and you all were right there with us in spirit :) We were having so much fun, preparing the cookies :) We added an egg, and all of the ingredients, and extra butter and peanut butter into the bowl :) We super stirred the cookies mix, and then got 2 pans :) i used butter to grease the pans, and we made the cookies into the classic peanut butter blossoms shapes, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake :) our kitchen smelled great :) peanut butter cookies are my favorite! :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out :) We enjoyed some chocolate hershey's kisses :) i got a plate for the cookies, when the first batch finished baking, i brought the cookies out of the oven :)

Once the cookies were out of the oven for a about 5 minutes, we then put a hershey's kiss candy on top of each cookie, and pressed the candy down into the cookies :) i put the cookies into the freezer, for a view minutes, to prevent the chocolate from melting. :) i took a picture of the cookies, and we then began to dig in :) Another batch of the cookies finished baking, and i added another batch of the cookies into the oven :) They baked nicely too :)we brought the candy cane peppermint bark out of the fridge, it had hardened nicely :) i used a butter knife and carefully broke the candy cane peppermint bark apart, into smaller pieces :) i took a picture, and we began to enjoy some of the candy, it's awesome! :) i was telling Mikey and Hunter, how i like to add candy cane bark to hot chocolate, and they wanted to bring some home :) i put together 3 plates for Jenn, and the kids to bring home, for Jenn Mike, and the kids to enjoy :)Alyssa came over, after work, and was so excited to baked the goodies :)She joined us in having goodies :)
