baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, Winter Festival Cookies party in the kitchen!!! :) with the flour flying in the kitchen, like snow falling from the sky, and sharing lots and lots of smiles! :) awww! :) This was so much fun! :) a cookie monsters party!!! :) with lots of great baking, and special memories being made :) Mikey sure was excited when he got to taste test the chocolate chips, and the chocolate truffles hershey's kisses candies! :) hehe! :) awww! :) lots of great times being shared, and baking friday memories we always cherish and treasure :) We wish you all could come over to join us, for a cookies party in the kitchen! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Kayla, Mikey, and i baked peanut butter blossoms cookies, and chocolate chip cookies :) a good ole fashioned, winter baking party in the kitchen! :) We're cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) awww! :) We love these awesome times, and with the winter season in full swing, with it being very cold outside, it's so nice to get the kitchen cozy warm, baking some nice yummy treats :) that scent of the goodies baking, and sharing lots of smiles :) We love welcoming you all into our kitchen each week, and are so happy to get to join you all in your kitchens too! :) sharing cooking, and baking adventures, stories, and recipes :) It's a great time to cook, and bake, all kinds of yummy recipes and treats :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) We hope everyone is keeping warm, that is experiencing this very cold weather, and our prayers are also with everyone in Australia, where they are experiencing a cyclone hurricane storm. sending out prayers, and our best well wishes. it was way below 0 degrees windchill here this morning, as the sun began to rise up, it was blusterly cold outside, with the winds. oh my! a very windy night. i bundled up warmly for my early morning nature walk, i wanted to put some goodies outside, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feast! :) i had a big bowl of goodies, i went out into our yard, i didn't go out for too long, as it's very extreme cold air. i didn't see many birds, but did spot a few :) i've been enjoying getting to feed them this week, lots of goodies, to help them keep warm, and nourished during winter time :) we love our nature animal friends :)
It was a great morning, rising and shining with some beautiful sunshine and blue skies :) i wished my family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) We appreciate you all :) it's a big time for us all, as my sister Jenn is gonna be giving birth soon, to her baby boy Hunter :) she saw her doctor today, and they have scheduled her, to go into the hospital, on sunday :) we look forward to welcoming a new member into our family, and sharing and celebrating this wonderful joy with you all :) There's lots to look forward too :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom and sister Lisa :) They've been going to the stores this week, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) Each week, we all love to chip in, to get baking friday supplies :) We do lots of cooking, and baking during winter season :)
Around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday supplies, and went out into out kitchen to decorate, and gathering items, in preparations for our super fun adventure :) i love getting our kitchen ready :) i also prepared, delicious potato soup and a baked sweet potato for lunch :) Delicious! :) around mid-day, i was looking out the window, i saw some winter birds in our backyard. i got another big bowl of goodies, including some onion rolls that been in our fridge, and i went back outside, to put more goodies out there, i even put 2 oranges out (i sliced the oranges in half) :) the birds and squirrels love those goodies, and are so happy! :) i saw a crow flying off with some bread or pizza :) during the early afternoon, i had a nice cup of hot tea, and enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) my mom and dad went out to shop a bit at walmart, some huge tree cutting trucks came down our road, and in our neighborhood, they were cutting down tree branches that are close to power lines, to help prevent those branches from falling onto the lines. we have a winterstorm coming, that could bring very icy conditions, our city is preparing for possibility of icestorm conditions. we're hopeful, that the ice and snow, won't be severe, and we're hoping it will be mostly rain, on sunday.
Around 3pm, i began to get ready to go back out into our kitchen, Jenn and Mikey were on their way, and Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school shortly after 3pm :) We always tell Taylynn, she's welcome to help us bake, if she'd like :) Mikey was helping me set up our bowl and spoons, and he also was having some chocolate truffles hershey's kisses candies :) we were all gathering around, lots of excitement all around :) we got our picture taken in the kitchen :) it's always a cool and fun tradition :) During the day, i texted friends, to wish them a happy baking friday :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking supplies we have recieved over the years :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more supplies too, that are a big part of our cooking, and baking throughout the week :) We feel so thankful, to have all of these nice items, that helps us with our baking, cooking, and the joys of spending time in the kitchen :) our kitchen was all set, and we were all ready, to get the flour flying in the air in the kitchen! :) it's cookies party time!!! :) Whooo!!! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began by preparing the chocolate chip cookies :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She loves to select the eggs :) We were all so excited, as we began to add the ingredients into the big bowl :) Mikey wanted to try the chocolate chips, and Kayla has some too :) Mikey was so happy, he was smiling a lot :) We love that he joins in on the baking friday fun :) We added extra butter to the bowl, and got that flour flying in the air too! :) hehe! :) we were all hanging out, enjoying the fun spirit in the air :) Mikey was telling us, about how he has been enjoying some candies. :) awww! :) he's very excited that he's gonna be a big brother :) i am sure, he will teach baby Hunter all kinds of cool things, including how to cook and bake :) i know little baby Hunter will join us someday, for some baking friday adventures :) We began to SUPER STIR! :) we were stirring the ingredients :) i used butter to grease 2 baking pans :) we put lots of cookies onto the pans, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)
We were enjoying such a fun time baking, i love to share with my family about the nice foods, and goodies you all cook, and bake throughout the week too : )We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) next week, we're planning a pies themed baking friday adventure :) We began to prepare the peanut butter blossoms cookies :) our kitchen was warm, and smelled so nice, with the chocolate chip cookies in the oven :) i love all kinds of cookies, but my favorite, are peanut butter cookies :) we added in extra peanut butter, along with brown sugar :) we were super stirring the ingredients :) Mikey was SUPER fast stirring! :) hehe! :) he was telling us about how he's been going sledding, and sometimes plays in the snow :) he's been having so much fun this winter season :) i checked in on the chocolate chip cookies, the 2 pans of cookies finished baking ,i brought those out of the oven to cool down :)
i put the chocolate chip cookies onto a dish, and then greased the pans again with vegetable oil :) i then put the cookies onto the pans, and put the cookies into the oven to bake :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and we were all hanging out :) Kayla, Mikey, and Taylynn all had a chocolate chip cookie :) The peanut butter cookies baked nicely :) We unwrapped some chocolate truffle hershey's kisses candies, and put those on top of the peanut butter cookies :) this was such a fun, and awesome time we shared together, baking the cookies :) a winter festival cookies party in the kitchen! :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some cookies with us :) we love baking friday, and have many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) next week, we'd love to bake 2 kinds of pies, apple, and blueberry :) it's gonna be another sweet baking friday adventure! :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking this week :) This is awesome! :) i wish we all could gather together, for a baking friday picnic feast :) Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Peanut Butter Blossoms, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit of wholesome baking :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) February 20th, 2015 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a SUPER SWEET day!!! :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) We're so excited, and very happy, that this upcoming weekend, looks like it will be the weekend when we welcome baby Hunter into our family :) Jenn is scheduled to give birth, on sunday :) We look forward to sharing the very special news, and celebration with everyone, and the first picture of baby Hunter, i'll definitely share with everyone here in my journals :) We love, and cherish your special friendships :) it's been a spirit soaring week, lots of nature walks, writings, and many great memories being made :) Tomorrow, we're gonna be going shopping, at the dollar store, and maybe walmart too :) i'm going to buy some cards, gifts, and treasures :) it's gonna be great shopping :) You all will be with us in spirit, our sweet dear wonderful guardian angel friends :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone in my journals :) i'm going to do some writings this upcoming weekend too :) There's many more wonderful things to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call Holly :) We love to talk, and are going to watch 2 episodes of the most haunted show, on youtube :) We love our paranormal night party's, watching paranormal shows :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and very generous :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM COZY FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)
