baking friday :) Onion Pretzels, Rice Krispies Treats, and Onion Rings! :)

"these rice krispies treats are awesome!"-my nephew's Hunter, Mikey, Jacob, Brayden and Colby said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying, happy mother's day weekend themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun!!! :) we had a very special guest in the kitchen today, helping out for the 1st time, Brodie!!! :) awww! :) Brodie's a little baker in training! :) he helped stir the batter dip for the onion rings! :) awww! :) Sharing lots of smiles, and many great memories being made :) Today's adventure, was a very special request, from all of the mom's in our family :) they wanted us to make ,onion pretzels, onion rings, and rice krispies treats! :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradtion :) Today, the kids, and i (with Kayla with us in spirit (she's on a choir class field trip in New Jersey), baked onion pretzels, and made some classic rice krispies treats and onion rings :) it was so much fun!!! :) even Brodie joined in on the baking friday fun! :) the goodies are going fast! hehe! :) everyone is digging in :) we asked all of the mom's in our family, what they'd like us to bake today :) the big 3 treats selected, we made for all of the mom's in our family :) the baking friday fun is going into the evening too as i'm making some potato chips in the frylator in a little while :) There's lots of awesome times being shared, and wonderful spirit of spring time! :) We love sharing in, and celebrating with you and your family's :)

my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day :) The spring season is in full swing, with lots of wonderful joys, nature blossoming all around, and a season full of festivities, and traditions :) We're getting ready for lots more spring adventures, as we blossom into the weekend, and weeks ahead :) it's a very exciting time of the year :) we've been enjoying such a very special time, sharing in, and celebrating the season with you and your family's :) Thank you all, for making the season very special, and joyful for us :) We feel very blessed, and thankful to have you and your family's in our lives :) Big group warm happy friendship hug :) We love you all bunches and bunches :) This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :)one of my favorite traditions i enjoy very much on friday's, is wishing my family and friends a happy baking friday, and sharing your sweet happy baking friday wishes with my family :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) Thank you angel friends, so very much :) You all warm our hearts, and bring us wonderful sunshine every day that brightens our days :)

It was a sweet blossoming morning :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning nature walk :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i was seeing, and hearing lots of birds around :) i checked in on our plants in our greenhouse, they're doing well and are replenished from the watering i gave them the other day :) our raspberry bushes, grapevines, are all doing really well, growing, and flourishing, and we're also very excited about our fruit trees :) there's lots and lots of blossoms, and with the bumble bees pollenating the trees, it could be a huge fruit growing season :) when i see our winesap apple tree, i think of our 1st baking friday adventure, and how it helped begin the baking friday adventure :) we'd love to bake another apple pie next september, to celebrate the 12th birthday of baking friday :) it's so neat, all of the nature, and how it's blossoming beautifully :) it's sweet classic, and golden spring time :) we look forward to many more nature adventures, and gardening as the season goes on :)

The morning was super spirited :) we enjoyed a nice breakfast, and i made a blueberry iced coffee :) cheers!!! :) i gathered some baking friday decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin to set up and decorate our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) our kitchen looked great! :) i also prepared 2 batches of pretzel dough, for later on, so that the dough could rise up, for some nice big pretzels, and i also sliced an onion, for the onion rings :) the morning was rockin and rolling :) during the late morning, we went for a car ride with Holly to her appt :) she's been having a big week, with her appts, and doing so very well :) we're very proud of her :) During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

Around 3pm, everyone began to arrive over, for baking friday :) Kayla was up early today, Lisa brought her to school early, for her choir class field trip to New Jersey, for a singing performance, and going to Six flags amusement park :) Kayla's been keeping in touch with Lisa and my mom throughout the day, and she was with us in spirit during our baking friday adventure today :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved over the years, from family and friends :) i wear my apron, and we use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our baking and cooking supplies :) These special supplies, are a big part of our baking and cooking each week :) The kids and i got our picture taken :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake up some awesome treats :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) we first began to prepare the rice krispies treats :) they're one of our favorite treats :) i got a cooking pot and began to melt some butter in the cooking pot :) the kids wanted to add the marshmallows :) they love to help! :) baking friday teamwork! :) the kids get so proud when they add the ingredients, and super stirring :) we poured the marshmallows into the cooking pot with the melted butter, and i began to stir the marshmallows :) my mom and Alyssa came out into the kitchen, and Holly came out into the kitchen today too :) lots of happy baking friday smiles being shared :) the kids love to say hi to Holly :) awww! :)

Hunter and Jacob helped pour the 6 cups of rice krispies into melted marshmallows, and we stirred the rice krispies and then poured the rice krispies into a buttered cooking pan, and put the rice krispies into the fridge to cool down :) we were sharing lots of smiles, and loving the spirit of the day :) You all are always right there with us in spirit during these times :) we began to prepare the pretzels :) my mom was so excited for us to bake some onion pretzels :) They're her favorite :) the pretzel dough had risen nicely :) i sliced the dough into portions, and we made the pretzels into some nice pretzel shapes :) i had some water heating up on the stove :) the pretzels go into the water for about a minute, this helps the pretzels get larger :)

i used a metal spatula to bring the pretzels out of the water, and put the pretzels onto the butter greased baking pan :) we then melted a stick of butter, and added dried onion flakes into the butter, stirred it, and drizzled the butter and onion onto the pretzels, and  then put the pretzels into the oven to bake! :) our kitchen smelled great, pretzels baking, and it was time to prepare the onion rings :) earlier, i made some nice batter dip for the onion rings :) flour, 1 egg, some milk, half and half cream milk, and some garlic and salt, with some pepper too :) Alyssa brought Brodie into the kitchen for a couple minutes, and he helped stir the batter dip :) awww! :) he's a baker in training :) i put the onions into the batter dip, and got the frylator going :) the kids were going back and forth, from the kitchen and living room, playing some video games :) my mom and Holly were talking, and Alyssa went to the store with Aj to pick up a few items, including some more vegetable oil for our frylator :)i made a big batch of the onion rings, and with the new vegetable oil, gonna make fried potatoes this evening :)

The Onion Pretzels finished baking, they baked nicely :) i sliced the rice krispies treats into squares :) i took a picture of the treats, and everyone began to dig in :) this is awesome, we love these special times :) We had so much fun baking goodies today :) i thanked the kids for helping :) the kids love to bring home some treats :) they're so proud :) awww! :) we have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) Holly's having some onion rings and rice krispies treats :) i'm going to have a pretzel this evening and some fried potatoes :) a very special shoutout for family and friends :) lots of great baking, and cooking this week :) we love hearing about the nice goodies and foods you all bake and cook :) we're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) this is so much fun,  and very special :) Onion Pretzels, Onion Rings and Rice Krispies Treats, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to all mom's :) we love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday, we love it!!! :) May 10th, 2019 :) Happy baking friday, and happy mother's day holiday weekend to all mom's :)
