Calling All cookie Monsters! :) Cookie Monsters Unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :)

Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a great day with lots of sunshine :) Thank you all so very much, for your sweet happy baking friday wishes, and for all of your warm well wishes, prayers, and great support :) it means the world to us, especially with the week we've been experiencing. You all give us strength, and hope, to keep on keeping on each day :) We're doing ok, continuing with the good care, keeping focused on good health, keeping healthy, and making the most of each day :) Here at our home, none of us have any symptoms. We're taking our Vitamin C, and Vitamin C, and also wearing our masks :) Today's baking friday is a bit different, with all that's been going on, but we're definitely making the most of today's baking friday, and looking forward to many more super fun adventures :) We thought today would be very cool to dedicate baking friday to the kids :) for us all, they are what makes baking friday, a super fun tradition to look forward too each week :) With the news we recieved on wednesday, we began to plan a different type of baking friday this week ,to keep the tradition going, and i wanted to make this journal special to share, as baking friday is such a big part of our lives, our weeks, and all of the great memories from over the years :) Thank you all, our dear angel friends for inspiring us, and motivating us to have this special baking friday this week, and helping us keep focused on good health, and all of the super fun adventures ahead to look forward too :) You all are helping us keep in good spirits :)

We're all keeping very positive about things, and keeping to our daily routines, and traditions as much as we can :) This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) i love to wish my family, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday :) it's a big part of my friday mornings :) i share with my family and Holly ,your sweet happy baking friday wishes throughout the day :) baking friday is so much fun :) We look forward to it each week, and teaching the kids how to bake, and cook, and sharing our adventures :) We're so proud of the kids, and all they've learned about baking, and cooking :) They are the Super Stirrers, and they bring an awesome energy to the kitchen that is what makes baking friday the spirited fun joy it is :) The kids have definitely been with us in spirit today :) We're all doing ok, here at our home, we're all feeling ok, and are continuing with the very best care, also keeping careful, and cautious, which is bringing us additional comfort, along with all of the uplifting comfort you all are bringing us :) You all help us to keep focused on the days, and times ahead, when we'll be able to get back to everything normal :) you all help our days feel normal, and we thank you all so very much for that :)

It was a sweet early morning, blossoming into the new day :) i heard the birds this morning :) i was up early, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and also getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) i always put extra goodies outside in our backyard, on baking friday :) our nature friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) Awww! :) beautiful weather, lots of sunshine, it's feeling like, and looking like classic golden spring time :) i saw some birds this morning, and checking in on our garden :) it's so neat, all of the nature that's flourishing :) we love this time of the year :) our flowers bushes, plants, fruit trees, are all doing very well, growing, and flourishing :) We're very excited to blossom into some more gardening this upcoming weekend, planting flowers seeds, string beans, sunflowers, and also tending our plants :) We have some tomatoes, and pepper plants to plant into larger planters too :) it's gonna be great :) this is a wonderful time in the season :) We love sharing in the seasonal excitement with everyone :)

We enjoyed our breakfast this morning, and had some hot tea, water, iced coffee :) double cheers! to the best of good health for us all :) We love baking friday :) We've been thinking of the kids often today, as baking friday is such a fun tradition each week :) thinking of the kids picking out goodies they'd like for us to bake :) They're super helpers, and love to help :) They get very proud when they add the ingredients into the bowl :) They love to each have something to do, as it helps them feel like they are participating, and helping make the goodies :) from the flour, to the sugar, butter, the best eggs, and of course, they love frosting, and enjoying the goodies we bake :) We're so proud of the kids, and as we blossom into weeks ahead, we look forward to them re-joining in, on the baking friday fun :) We're so happy they love to bake and cook :) Carter's been saying "baking friday", and he loves to help stir, and Jenn shares about how he helps her and Mike bake and cook at home :) We've had some awesome generations of baking friday, Kayla baking with me, then Taylynn joining in, then Mike joining in, and eventually the triplets, Brayden, Colby,and Jacob, followed by Hunter, and now Carter and Brody :) it's awesome, over the years, all of the baking friday fun, and so much more to look forward too, all of the themed adventures, throughout the months and seasons of the year :) the kids love to help grill hotdogs too, and we look forward to having more of the Chillin n Grillin baking friday's as the spring season continues on, and into summer season :) i'd love to share some special Baking friday, behind the scenes, preparations today too, that i usually don't write about in detail,but thought it would be cool to share today to give an insight look, at the putting together, of baking friday :) i'll include the sharing in my journal today :) We love sharing our baking friday adventures, it brings our hearts a lot of special joy :) We're so happy, and thrilled that everyone enjoys our baking friday adventures, and pictures :)

This morning, i decorated our kitchen for baking friday, it's a really sweet tradition each week :) when we first began to recieve oven mits, i got the idea to put the mits into the kitchen, on our counter :) it began a tradition of decorating each week, and making our kitchen look like the theme of the day :) i love getting into the decoration, it's awesome fun :) We enjoyed a nature walk, checking in on our plants, and also had a nice lunch :) Holly and i prepared some nice onion pretzel dough today, around mid day :) we wanted to get the dough nice, and big dough, for the pretzels :) pretzels have become one of our favorite foods to bake over the years :) it's a really nice recipe :) We use 1 cup of water, 1 packet of yeast, some sugar, a little salt, vegetable oil, and onion flakes :) We add in flour, until it makes a really nice dough :) we put the dough into the fridge to rise, for later on :) We love to make nice big pretzels :) Onion pretzels are my mom's favorite :) We love to use our baking friday supplies :) i wear my nice apron Holly gave me, and we use our oven mits, hot mats, kitchen towels :) these are such nice supplies :) to have, to use for baking, and cooking :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures,and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Around 3pm today, Holly and i began our baking friday adventure :) i got some water heating up in a cooking pot on the stove, for the pretzels :) i cut the pretzel dough into portions, and rolled the pretzels into rope shape, and then made the dough into pretzel shapes :) we boiled the pretzels 2 at a time, and used a metal spatula to put the pretzels onto a baking pan :) We melted butter and added dried minced onion onto the pretzels, and then put the pretzels into the oven to bake :) The pretzels were baking nicely :) Holly and i prepared the cornbread muffins :) We love cornbread, it's a nice treat :) We made 5 cornbread muffins :) The cornbread muffins finished baking :) the onion pretzels baked nicely, for about 20 minutes :) i took some pictures of the goodies, they came out great :) i thanked Holly for helping bake :) We were thinking of the kids, during our adventure :) We look forward to many more super fun baking friday adventures :) a very special shoutout for family and friends :) Lots of great baking, and cooking this week :) We love hearing about the goodies you all bake and cook :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i always wish we all could someday have a big baking friday picnic :) Onion Pretzels, and Cornbread Muffins, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends,to the baking friday crew, and to awesome spirit of the spring season :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) May 14th, 2021 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
i'd love to share some baking friday moments, in the preparations for our adventures each week, plus some fun facts about baking friday :)

Baking friday, behind the Scenes Preparations! :) Part of the great fun of baking friday, is the adventure coming together :) it really begins, with the plannings earlier in week :) We like to get a common idea, of what we might be baking, on baking friday :) sometimes the ideas come in, on baking friday for the next week, but usually earlier in the week we all decide :) We like to ask the kids what they'd like us to make :) we're so thankful for the nice baking friday supplies we get, that help make baking friday possible :) a special shoutout to my mom and dad, and also my niece Alyssa, and everyone who helps with the supplies :) on baking friday morning, it's always super charged up and exciting, from the blossoming of the day :) With baking friday wishes :) i prepare some of the baking friday intro types for the adventure, especially the "Happy baking friday, calling all cookie monsters" :) breakfast, and DS writing time, and then around 9am, i gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations :) we have a bag, i have all of our baking friday oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, any cookie cutters, and other supplies, plus my apron, inside the bag :) i gather decorations up, for our kitchen,and i go into our kitchen to begin putting together a display :) i put the oven mits up, along with some hot mats, sometimes decorative towels, or pictures on the counter, along with the supplies, and also some other decorations :) holiday themes, are the biggest displays, and seasonal i put together for the spirit of the season :)

after i decorate the kitchen, i turn my cell phone on, and i send out happy baking friday texts to friends across the miles :) Some friends who are here on ds, and some friends who aren't here on DS, i send out about 20 baking friday texts to wish everyone a happy baking friday :) i hangout with my mom a bit, and sipping my iced coffee, and then Holly and i put the sports radio on, i reply to texts, and spend some time here on DS :) Holly has her routines, and schedule too, and we always try to match up with eachother, for some late morning nature time,and deciding on our selections for lunch :) during the early afternoon, we still have the sports radio on, hanging out, i'm on DS from time to time during the afternoon, sometimes we go outside again, or browsing collectibles, or doing surveys/swagbucks :) after 2pm, it's almost like that "it's alright time" period of the day, where we know the kids will be coming over after school :) Around 2:55pm, or close to 3pm, we go back out into the kitchen, we greet everyone, and we put finishing touches on the kitchen preparations, getting the pans set, turning the oven on, and getting all of the supplies layed out, for the "baking friday supplies" picture :) This is when the cookie monsters unite! :)

The kids then select their seats and spots at the counter :) We get our picture taken, my mom or Holly takes the picture of us each week :) We then begin our super fun adventure :) We usually are baking for about an hour,depending on the menu size :) it's so much fun, and the excitement of these moments, being inthe moments, and enjoying the adventure, it feels so spirited and feels like my baking friday journal is already written in my thoughts :) After baking,and hanging out, enjoying goodies, the adventure is so fresh in my mind, i go into a really sweet writing time, writing about the adventure :) i love when i can help everyone feel like they were right there, in the kitchen with us during the adventure :)after i write about baking friday, it's usually about 4:50pm, and i then begin to put the journal together, uploading the pictures into my journal, and then i double check my journal, and i then post it :) it's a great feeling of joy, seeing it all come together :)we love your sweet comments, and all of the heart-felt sharings of baking friday :) Each week, many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :)

A Fun baking friday fact :) We use a lot of butter, for baking and cooking :) many times, over the years, we'll sometimes use a whole stick of butter, but sometimes we use almost a whole stick of butter. :) The small amount of butter left, i've put back into the fridge, and many times over the years, when we've thought we were low on butter, those small pieces of butter left, and finding them in the wrapper in the fridge, have come in very handy :) We've been able to put together a whole stick of butter, by just using the small pieces leftover from other baking friday's :) also, frosting :) We've used a lot of frostings : )Sometimes, we've had over half a frosting container left, i put the frostings into the fridge, even the frostings we use in zip lock bags to decorate cookies, cakes, and cupcakes :) we've been able to make good use of those frostings, ones we've put away from not finishing a whole container of frostings, they have come in very handy when we've needed frosting again ,a week or two or 3 weeks later :) The frosting stays fresh in the fridge :) Wild baking friday fact! :) back in 2010, i had just gotten a brand new digital camera. i put it on top of my coffee maker, and we were making cinnamon rolls that baking friday,and i remember we had the bowl of melted butter, and cinnamon/brown sugar,and my camera fell into the bowl! oh my! hehe! :) my digital camera was ok :)

We're having a good peaceful day, baking friday, and blossoming into the weekend, with continued focus on good health, and times to look forward too :) my family,Holly,and i are keeping in good spirits :) it was nice baking goodies tomorrow :) We look forward to the kids being able to join back in, on the baking friday fun :) The weekend is arriving with lots of spring spirit as the season continues to blossom :) We love the weekend's :) Holly and i are going to have a popcorn movies party day tomorrow :) We look forward to enjoying some movies, foods, snacks, and drinks :) We're also going to do some gardening this weekend, nature walks, and also watching TWD on sunday :) i'm going to do some writing this weekend too :) i look forward to sharing our weekend and new pictures with everyone in my weekend journals :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for being here for us :) it means the world to us :) Wishing us all the best of good health, comfort, and peace :) There's lots more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch an episode of most haunted show, and an episode of ghost adventures :) We love our friday night, paranormal party night's :)
