Around 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations, for our super fun adventure :) my niece Alyssa went to pick up the triplets at school :) Kayla had a half day of school today :) Jacob wanted to help Kayla and i bake goodies :) Awww! :) we got our picture taken in the kitchen : )We were getting ready and set to bake some awesome goodies :) Earlier in the afternoon, i prepared some nice pretzel dough, so that the dough would rise and be nice, for making some awesome large pretzels :) each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) we love our nice aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our nice baking friday supplies :) our supplies are always a big part of our baking and cooking :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to get the flour flying in the air in the kitchen! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) We first began by preparing the cornbread muffins with old bay seasoning :) Jacob was so proud to help add the ingredients into the bowl :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best egg ever! :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) She got the egg, and we added in all of the ingredients :) it was time to super stir! : )We love cornbread muffins, and we decided to add in some old bay seasoning :)the muffins are so good, especially with some soup, or salad :) We were having lots of fun baking, sharing smiles :) my mom and Alyssa came out into the kitchen at times :) Taylynn, Colby, and Brayden were playing some video games/watching videos in the living room :) We poured the cornbread muffins mix into the baking cups, and then put the muffins into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) i couldn't wait to try a nice cornbread muffn with old bay seasoning :)

We then began to prepare the pretzels :) the pretzel dough had risen really nicely :) to make the dough earlier this afternoon, i used 1 packet of yeast, 1 cup of water, some salt, brown sugar, and added in flour, and stirred until it was a nice dough :) Kayla, Jacob, and i began to get the dough set to make some nice pretzels :) i cut the dough into portions, and we then began to make the pretzels shapes, i got some water heating up on the stove to put the pretzels into, and a baking pan :) we made lots of pretzels :) i used the metal spatual to put the pretzels into the water :) Kayla and i were enjoying teaching Jacob how to make the pretzels :) he was smiling and so happy :)

Once the pretzels were getting larger in the hot water, i used butter to grease the baking pan, and put the pretzels onto the pan, and then we melted some butter in a bowl, and added in onion soup mix, we stirred it, and drizzled the butter/onion soup mix onto the pretzels, with some garlic :) we were getting hungry! :) the cornbread muffins finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down, and put the pretzels into the oven to bake :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out in the living room :) the pretzels baked nicely, for about 25 to 30 minutes :) we love pretzels, they're awesome, and cornbread muffins :) the treats came out really good :)
