We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Colby, Brayden, Jacob, and i baked some oatmeal cookies, and made some fresh homemade salsa :) a summer time celebration, as we've began to pick some nice tomatoes, and peppers, from our garden :) this morning, i was out in our garden, picking some peppers, as the sun was rising up more and more into the sweet blue summer sky :) We love the joys of summer time, and beginning to harvest goodies :) It's good, wholesome, and very heart warming :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day :) this morning, we had a beautiful new summer day, rising and shining, with lots of sunshine :) i wished my family a happy baking friday, and i love to share with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you everyone! :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) We love this very special tradition, it's a big part of our lives :) We've been looking forward to baking some goodies, and making some fresh homemade salsa :) i enjoyed a nice early morning nature walk, as i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for the birds and squirrels, i checked in on the plants :) They're doing really well, growing, and flourishing :) i've been picking some tomatoes this week, and also picked another green bell pepper, and 2 jalapeno peppers too :) We love to make lots of salsa, during summer time :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and dad :) They went out to the stores today, and picked up some goods, for our baking friday adventure :) they picked up some extra cans of diced tomatoes :) we love to make lots of salsa :) i enjoyed decorating our kitchen, for baking friday, and was talking with my mom and dad :) i love to decorate our kitchen :) today, i decorated with a summer garden/flowers theme :) i prepared a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) around 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations for our super fun adventure :)
Alyssa and the triplets came over, and Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over :) We were all gathering around :) The kids were very excited :) they love to get their little chairs, and the stool seat, to put into our kitchen. :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we have recieved over the years, from family and friends :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and other baking supplies :) they're always a special part, of our cooking, and baking adventures :) Throughout the course of the day, i texted friends, to wish them a happy baking friday :) Our kitchen was all set, and we were all set, and ready to get the flour flying in the air in the kitchen :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super adventure! :) i got the salsa cooking on the stove, with the tomatoes, peppers, onion, and diced tomatoes too :) i used a nice laddle spoon, to stir the salsa :) The salsa smelled really good :) my mom, Jenn, and Alyssa came out into the kitchen, and also baby Hunter, he was smiling and smiling :) in another year, he will be able to help us bake :) Mikey began to bake when he was about 1 and a half years old :) As the salsa was cooking, we got all of the ingredients, for the oatmeal cookies :) i said to Kayal, "pick out the best egg ever!" :) She loves to select the egg :) it's a cool tradition over the years :) We all helped, adding the ingredients :) the kids all got spoons, to help SUPER STIR the ingredients :) Kayla helped, as she was holding the bowl, and the kids all took turns, stirring :) They were so into it! :) i think we'll definitely bake more goodies, so they all can have a special bowl to stir the ingredients :) they were so into stirring today, it was awesome to see, how much they all wanted to help stir :) Baking friday teamwork! :)
i continued to stir the salsa, and got some baking pans all greased with butter, for the cookies :) we put 2 pan fulls of cookies into the oven to bake :) The triplets, were saying, "cookie!" :) awww! :) we took a break, did some cleaning in the kitchen, and swept the floor by the counter :) the cookies were baking nicely, and the salsa was cooking :) my mom, Alyssa, and sister Jenn said, "the salsa smells great!" :) We all love salsa :) sometimes, Alyssa cooks salsa chicken :) it's really good :) i got the canning jars all set, and ready. :) i took the cookies out of the oven, as they had finished baking :)
