This morning, a sweet new, and refreshing day, was rising and shining :) We have a very special thank you, for you all, our dear angel friends :) Thank you for your wonderful well wishes for my mom, and for keeping us all in your thoughts, and prayers :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) i've been sharing your well wishes, with my mom :) She's feeling a bit better today, she got a really good night's rest last night, and had her favorite tea this morning :) You all always comfort us, and uplift us, in our times of need :) we're with you all the way, and will always be here for you and your family's too :) We're so glad, and thankful my mom is feeling better, and that she's having a much better day today :)
i shared all of your nice happy baking friday wishes, with my family :) This morning ,i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday. :) We've been looking forward, to this very special adventure, our annual mother's day themed baking friday adventure : )It was a spirited morning, as i began my day, with a nature walk :) i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) We had some light rain in our area this morning, i love the fresh crisp air, it's refreshing, and all around, the nature being nourished by the rain, trees, bushes, plants, all growing so nicely, and healthy :) It's an amazing time ,for nature, and the spirit of spring, all around, is blossoming beautifully :) during my early morning walks, i love to check in on our garden greenhouse, to see how the planters are doing, plus i'm on sprouts watch now, looking for signs of sprouts in the greenhouse :) i love it! :)
i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and ventured out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, with a lovely Roses theme, for mother's day :) it's become a cool tradition over the years, to decorate our kitchen with the roses theme :) Mom's are beautiful, like Roses :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i cooked a healthy lunch, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and a fresh crisp salad, plus brewed a vanalla iced coffee :) CHEERS!!! :) early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :) Around 2:50pm, i gathered some of our baking supplies, and went back out into the kitchen :) Each week, we get lots of nice use, from our wonderful baking supplies :) aprons, oven mits, pot holders, and kitchen towels :) We're so happy, and excited to use these nice baking supplies, they are always a very special part of our adventures :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa :) Earlier this week, they picked up baking friday supplies at the store :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :)
Kayla and Taylynn arrived home, shortly after 3pm :) Taylynn had her scholastic book club day, she ordered some new books, she loves to read :) She sometimes joins us, for baking friday adventures. She's been enjoying her after school snack time, and also watching her tv shows :) During summer season, Taylynn will probably join in on the baking friday fun more often :) Jenn and Mikey came over, we were gearing up, for some baking friday fun! :) Earlier, i made some nice rice krispies treats, for my mom and Kayla : )They had a special treats request, for us to make the rice krispies treats :) We were getting ready to bake the very special Mother's day cake :) throughout the course of the day today, i texted friends, to wish them a happy baking friday :) Thank you everyone, for the nice texts :) we were all set, and ready, and our kitchen was set :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super adventure! :) We began to make the cake :) Mikey was so proud, he loves to help add in the ingredients into the bowl :) Mikey got a cool new haircut, for spring time :)i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She loves to select the eggs :) Kayla was telling us about her school day, she's been having some awesome days, and Taylynn having cool days too :) They have summer vacation beginning next month, it's been a very fast school year for them :) They've been enjoying the school year, and are looking forward to summer vacation :) Kayla and i were talking about our upcoming annual Campfire themed baking friday adventure :)
We were super stirring the cake mix, we love chocolate cake! :) i used butter to grease a baking pan, for the cake :) Kayla and i have been teaching Mikey, a lot about baking, he's learning a lot, with each adventure :) he was enjoying a rainbow twizzler candy, we got, for the baking friday adventure :) We poured the chocolate cake mix, into the pan, and i put the cake into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) Sweet chocolately scent filled our kitchen! :) We love the scent of chocolate cake baking :) As the cake was baking, we were all hanging out, i sliced the green twizzlers, for our decorating, to make the heart roses flowers for the cake :) Kayla and i had a few candy twizzlers, they are great! :) We were having such a fun time, sharing smiles :) Mikey was playing, he's a character! :) he gets both Kayla and i laughing :) hehe! :) my mom and Jenn were coming out into the kitchen too :) it's great to see my mom feeling better today :)
The cake baked nicely, i brought the cake out of the oven to cool down :) Once the cake cooled down, Kayla, Mikey, and i began to spread vanilla frosting on the cake :) We love to decorate :) we've been teaching Mikey how to decorate, he's doing really well :) We were spreading the frosting, and then put the green twizzler candies on the cake, to make the flower stems, and then Kayla, Mikey, and i used the red twizzlers, to make heart shaped roses, for the flowers part of the cake :) The cake came out great! :) We showed my mom and Jenn the cake, they love it! : )We had so much fun today, baking the cake, we love baking, and enjoying these very special adventures :) i thanked Kayla and Mikey for helping bake :) We're very excited, for the weekend, and celebrating :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends, all of the nice goodies, and foods everyone cooks, and bakes, sounds great! :) our friend Deb (Stardust) texted me today, and mentioned she baked a cheesecake :) It's so much fun ,cooking, and baking : )We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens : ) Happy Mother's Day cake, and Rice Krispies treats, dedicated to all mom's, and dedicated to family and friends. :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) May 9th, 2014 :) Happy baking friday, and Happy Mother's Day! :)
We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my mom is continuing to feel better :) We're keeping a close eye on her, and looking forward to making her mother's day holiday, very special, and memorable :) The weekend is arriving with lots of spirit, as the holiday weekend arrives :) Tomorrow, we're gonna go shopping, i'd love to go to the dollar store, and maybe walmart too :) i want to buy some gifts, goodies, and treasures, for my mom :) i'm also gonna browse around the stores :) it's gonna be awesome shopping, i love sharing our shopping adventures with everyone :) it's also gonna be so wonderful, tomorrow, going to visit my grandma :) i'll be thinking of you all often this weekend :) The weekend is gonna be a wonderful one, with mother's day on sunday, i want to clean, and organize our front yard gardens :) it's gonna be very special, for me to do this, i want to do this for my mom, she'll be so happy, to see the gardens, looking very nice :) i'm going to do some writing this upcoming weekend too, cards, and notes :) i've been writing a few cards already too, blossoming into a nice writing week :) i look forward to taking many more pictures of our plants, and gardens, to share with everyone :) There's many more wonderful times, and great things to look forward too :) my family and i want to take this time ,to thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are very nice, sweet, and wonderfully caring :) We deeply appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of the love of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly : )We love to talk, and gonna watch an episode of Most Haunted, and Ghost Adventures :) it's paranormal night, on the travel channel, we love it! :) my family and i hope everyone enjoys a peaceful friday evening, and night :)
