baking friday :) Ladybugs themed Cupcakes, Mozzarella Bites, Cream Cheese Wontons! :)

"yum yum yum!" -my whole family and i said that today, during, and after baking friday!" hehe! :)
calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super spirit soaring, Spring Ladybugs themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) With spring spirit in the air, sun shining, and lots of smiles shared, my family and i all dug into some yummy treats after we finished baking today! :) mmm mmm! :) this was awesome fun, and so very sweet! :) We're very happy and excited! :) We got some sunshine here today, and we're ready for a celebration weekend, with the Kentucky Derby! :) This day is rocking, and the derby is gonna be rolling! whoooo!!! :) come on over, for some yummy treats! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone : )keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, and i baked ladybugs themed cupcakes, and we also made some mozzarella bites, and cream cheese wontons :) mmm mmm! :) my family and i were digging into the goodies! :) This was awesome! :) the treats are going fast! and we're definitely gonna make some more! :) i'm thinking of making some more cream cheese wontons this evening! :) hehe! :) lots of smiles shared, and sweet memories being made! :) We love it!!! :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a beautiful spring day! : )This day, leading into the Kentucky derby day tomorrow, is always so very exciting!!! :) Spring season, continues to blossom beautifully, and we have some lovely sunshine, and sweet warmth in the air today, with the spirit of spring, all around! :) i've been thinking of you all often today, and always wish you all could come over to have some nice goodies we make :) We love baking friday, and this week, wanted to make some yummy treats, that we got the recipe from, and idea from, our dear friend Cj (ddeadred) a few years ago :) mozzarella bites, and cream cheese wontons :) i've been craving some, and i thought it would be awesome to combine these treats, with our annual ladybugs themed baking friday adventure :)
This morning, we had a great new day, that was rising and shining! :) We love friday's, and especially during spring time, with the weekends arriving :) i wished Kayla, and Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday this morning, and shared with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) i began my day, with a nice nature walk in our yard :) the rain finally eased up, and we had a nice clearing in the weathe :) i got a nice big bowl of goodies, breads, and peanuts, and ventured out into our yard, to put goodies all around, and checking in on the plants :) i heard the red cardinal in one of our trees this morning :) the leaves are growing so nicely, upon the trees :) this is blossoming spirit of spring time! :) it's awesome to see! :) i was watching the birds this morning : )they always enjoy their baking friday breakfast feast :)
it was an awesome morning! :) around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday decorations, ladybugs decoratives, and went out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating for our super fun adventure :) Jenn and Mikey came over for a little while this morning, Mikey got to help decorate! :) he was very happy! :) he was looking at the ladybugs, and he said, "we having this!" :) awww! :) i said, "yes, a ladybugs theme today" :) he was smiling :) i cooked a nice lunch, it was awesome! :) i enjoyed some phone calls with our dear friends Maria (Love4You) and Holly :) around early afternoon, i enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends :) my mom and dad went out to shop :) we have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom ,and dad :) they picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) We all love to chip in each week, to get baking friday supplies :)
Around 3pm, i gathered the rest of our baking friday supplies, and went back out into the kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) Jenn and Mikey had come over earlier, and Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school :) we were all hanging out :) Taylynn often loves to take time, to watch tv, and have snacks, after school :) We always mention to her, if she'd like to bake, she can always come out into the kitchen to join in on the fun :) we think, once summer is here, and the kids are home all day, Taylynn will join in on the baking friday adventures :) Each week, we get lots of wonderful use, from our baking friday supplies :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more :) These awesome supplies we've recieved over the years, are always a very special part of our baking friday adventures :) throughout the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :) Thank you everyone, for the nice texts :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready for some baking friday fun! : )calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began by preparing the cupcakes :) we added the ingredients into the bowl, i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) awww! : )she always loves to select the eggs :) Mikey added in the cake mix, water, and Kayla and Mikey each cracked open an egg, we also added in some vegetable oil, and began to SUPER STIR!!! :) the super stirrers!!! :) we were stirring the cake mix :) i got some cupcake baking cups, and the baking pans :) we began to scoop the cake mix into the baking cups :) We made 12 cupcakes! :) i put the cupcakes into the oven to bake! :) as the cupcakes were baking, we were preparing the mozzarella bites, and the cream cheese wontons :) the cream cheese wontons, were a very special request, from my mom :) She wanted us to make some :)
i got some vegetable oil heating up on the stove, and we began to prepare both the mozzarella bites, and cream cheese wontons :) we first opened up the string cheese, Kayla and Mikey shared a string cheese :) i then sliced the string cheese, into many portions :) We used wonton wrappers, to wrap the mozzarella string cheese in, and used water to press the ends of the mozzarella bites closed :) this was lots of fun! :) Kayla and i were encouraging, and cheering on Mikey :) he was so proud, each time he made a nice mozzarella bite :) We made a huge plate full :) Mikey wanted to take a break, he and Taylynn went outside to play with their friends from across the street :) Kayla and i made some cream cheese wontons, we put cream cheese in the middle of the wonton wrapper :)
i began to put the mozzarella bites in the vegetable oil on the stove, they were sizzling as they cooked, i used a metal spatula to turn over the mozzarella bites, i put the bites into the vegetable oil, for about 90 seconds each :) i then put them on top of a plate that i put a napkin on, to soak up some of the vegetable oil :) i also cooked the cream cheese wontons the same way :) my mom, Lisa, and Jenn came out into the kitchen, we all began to try some of the cream cheese wontons and mozzarella sticks, when they were cooled down a bit, yum! yum! :) This was awesome! :) we were digging right in! :) hehe! :) These are awesome treats! :)
the cupcakes had finished baking :) i brought the cupcakes out of the oven to cool down :) Kayla and i began to prepare the different colored frostings :) we made red and black frostings for the ladybugs cupcakes :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) it was then time to decorate! :) we were continuing to dig into the nice mozzarella bites, and cream cheese wontons :) i said, "i think i'll make some more wontons this evening!" hehe! :) we spread red frosting on the cupcakes, we then did the ladybugs design, with the black frosting :) The cupcakes came out great! :) We put a nice plate full of goodies together, for Jenn and Mikey to bring home :) They began to dig into the plate! : )it was so much fun today, baking goodies :) i thanked Kayla and Mikey for helping :) the treats came out great! :) We'll definitely make some more, very soon :) We love baking friday, and sharing these awesome times together :) very soon, it'll be the 350th baking friday adventure celebration :) We're coming up upon the 350th baking friday :) There's many more super fun adventures to look forward too! :)

We're enjoying a SUPER MEGA SWEET AWESOME DAY!!! :) baking friday! and arrival of derby weekend! :) We love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) the week is ending on a really good note, and in a very positive way :) our dear friend Holly, continues to heal, and tonight, we're looking forward to our paranormal night, watching an episode of Most Haunted, and Ghost Adventures :) it's one of our favorite weekly traditions :) There's lots of wonderful things to look forward too :) The upcoming weekend, is gonna be wonderfully spring spirited, with the Kentucky Derby tomorrow, and we're hoping to go shopping too, and garden work on sunday, if the weather is nice :) We look forward to celebrating the weekend with everyone :)
Kentucky Derby day tomorrow! :) my mom, dad, and i are going to the Mohegan Sun Casino :) We're so very happy and excited!!! :) We love our visits to the casino :) Derby day! :) it's one of the most exciting days of the year :) We're going to be placing some bets, at the racebook, for the big derby race :) We're also gonna be going to the Krispy Kreme donuts shop, and may even play the slots machines for a little while :) i'll take pictures tomorrow, at mohegan sun, to share with everyone :) it's gonna be awesome!!! :) Tomorrow evening, is the derby, around 6:20pm :) We're gonna watch the big race here at home :)Go Horses Go! :) i look forward to sharing about our derby day celebrations, and festivities :) i'm also very excited, if the weather is nice on sunday, i'd love to do some garden work, and maybe planting some flowers seeds in planters :) gonna begin this new month of may, with gardening nasture joys :) Each day, is very special, and precious, and truly is a wonderful blessing :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all brighten our days, and bring lots of great joy, happiness, and peace to our days, and our lives :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNNY SUNSHINE HUG :) Tonight ,i'm going to enjoy some snacks, and watching tv :) my family and i hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully spirited weekend :)

We rolled the mozzarella cheese in the wonton wrapps, we also made cream cheese puffs in the wonton wrappers :)



i heated up the vegetable oil, and put the mozzarella sticks/wontons into the oil to cook :) it was sizzling and cooking! :) We were all getting very hungry! :)
Decorating! :) we love to decorate :) it's a cool tradition :) we love being creative in the kitchen :)
