baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters and ICE CREAM FANS! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters and ICE CREAM FANS!! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters and ICE CREAM FANS!!! unite! it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) A super fun, and super summer sweet, ICE CREAM PARTY IN THE KITCHEN!!! :) come on over, for some sweet ice cream treats! :) We got lots and lots of ice cream, sprinkles, cones, and are having an ice cream party, with a very special baking friday guest in the kitchen, little Michael! :) This was so much fun!!! :) We were piling the sprinkles onto of the ice cream cones today, as we had a super cool baking friday treat in the kitchen, on this very very VERY!!!! hot summer day in ct. oh my! the heat index reached about 109 degrees here today! it feels like an oven outside!!! this is wild!!! hot weather. We are so happy to be having some ICE CREAM today, as it's the perfect summer day to have some ICE CREAM! :) We wish you all could come over, and join us for the ice cream party! :) We hope everyone is doing well, and keeping cool, comfortable, and well hydrated. :) We gave some vanilla and strawberry ice cream to Pug and Tucker today! :) they were so happy! :) they were eating the ice cream! :) We also are so happy, that my sister Jenn and little Michael came over! :) Michael helped us decorate the cupcakes! :) he also had his very own, ice cream cone! :) awww! :) this is such a wonderful day, and the summer season is in full swing! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone. :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Taylynn, Michael, and i, baked some nice ice cream cone cupcakes, and made ice cream cones with sprinkles. :) We turned our kitchen into an ice cream shop! :) Even my mom had an ice cream cone! :) awww! :) We love these very special times, and are so happy to celebrate them with you all. :) With the very hot and severe heatwave in our area this week, with today being the hottest day of the season so far for us, i thought it would be the best, to have a nice cool ice cream themed baking friday adventure! :)
Summer time, and ice cream go together, like peanut butter and jelly, like sunflowers and the sun, and like spirited joy with family and friends, on a wonderful day like today! :) It's sweet classic, and golden summer time! :) we're deep into the summer season now, as we're into the month of July, and having just celebrated so many cool fun party's this week, with Kayla's and Lisa's birthday's, and today, the grand finale of the week, and ICE CREAM PARTY!!! in the kitchen! :) Whooo! :) my family and i are thinking of you all, and we hope everyone is having a nice day. :) We think of you and your family's often. :) This morning, a sweet new summer day was rising and shining. :) We love to celebrate the seasons with you all. :)
i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family, a very happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes. :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) This is so awesome, gathering together, sharing, celebrating joyful times of the season with eachother. :) This morning, i took good care of our plants, giving them another early morning soaking with the water nourishment, before it got too hot outside. i also made sure our bird bath has been nicely refreshed with cold water, for the birds. :) many of our nature animal friends, are keeping in the shaded areas of our yard, the bird sanctuary, and nature forest, to keep as cool as they can. :) i put lots of bread in those areas of our yard today. :) It's wild how hot the weather has been this week, it's very dangerously hot weather. there's excessive heat warnings in many areas, as they advise people not to be out in this heat. in the early morning on hot days like today, you can definitely tell by the air, that it's gonna be hot! hot! hot! around 2pm today, we had over 105 degrees heat index, very hot air, i walked outside to just feel that air, it's like an oven out there! oh my! it's so very important to take good care, keeping cool, well hydrated, drinking plenty of water to keep replenished, and keeping limited with our activities, as the weather like this, can cause heat stroke, and heat exhaustion. we're all taking good care, i got my ac on, fan on, and writing :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa. :) yesterday evening, they went to the grocery store and picked up baking friday supplies. :) it's so nice, and sweet of them. :) they love to pick up the supplies, and got some awesome deals. :) Thank you mom and Lisa, so very much! :) Around mid-morning, i gathered some baking friday supplies, and decoratives, and ventured out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure! :) we turned our kitchen into an ice cream shop. :) it looked great! :) When i think of summer time, i think of ice cream. :) it's a nice treat, and brings back lots of special memories for me. :) of when i was a kid, my family and i enjoying ice cream together. :) i remember when we'd go to Dairy Queen, and my mom and dad would treat us to ice cream, i loved getting the cones with the chocolate shell on top of the ice cream. :) i also love those peanut buster parfaits at dairy queen. :) The ice cream truck use too come to our neighborhood when i was a kid, and my friends and i would get ice creams, just like how now Kayla, Taylynn, and their friends get ice cream. :) it's a very enjoyable treat of the summer season. :) we all have our favorites. :) my favorite ice cream of all time, is Rocky Road. :) Yum! :)
This day is rocking! :) we had our baking friday adventure early today. :) with Kayla and Taylynn on summer vacation, we bake earlier on friday's :) Kayla and Taylynn said, they wanted an ice cream cone! :) Awww! :) we were gearing up, for our super fun adventure! :)
i wore my apron that our dear and lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) lovley mom sewn for me, plus we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and pot holders that we have recieved from friends, all around the world. :) each one, is very special, and unique. :) i sent texts to friends today to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, for the wonderful texts! :) You all are always with us in spirit in the kitchen during our adventures, and we're with you all in spirit too. :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began by baking the ice cream cone cupcakes. :) We had our oven on very low, so that it didn't overheat in our kitchen, plus we had our air conditioner on the kitchen, to keep the kitchen fairly cool. :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She loves to select the eggs :) She opened the fridges, and selected the eggs. :) i mentioned to Kayla, Taylynn, and our family about how many friends cook, and bake goodies throughout the week. :) it's so nice, we love to hear about the nice foods, and baked goodies you all make. :) We love trying new recipes, and it's so nice and enjoyable, enjoying the goodies we cook and bake. :) We were adding the ingredients to the bowl, and Kayla and Taylynn each got to crack open an egg. :) We got some spoons, and began to super stir! super stirrers!!! :) We were stirring the cake mix, we used nice vanilla cake mix to make the cupcakes today. :)
We opened up the ice cream cones. :) we use the nice Joy brand ice cream cones, our favorite. :) the nice wafer cones, always one of our favorite ice cream cones. :) We were having lots of fun, my mom, dad, and niece Alyssa came out into the kitchen too. :) we filled the cones with some cake mix, and had enough cake mix leftover, to make a small cake. :) i put the cones in muffin baking pan, and put the cupcakes, and cake into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) As the cupcakes and cake were baking, we got ready for our ice cream party! :)
ICE CREAM PARTY!!! :) Whoooo! :) We got the ice cream out of the freezer, and got the ice cream cones, some spoons, and began to dig in! :) hehe! :) we were making some ice cream cones, my mom had an ice cream cone too. :) We had lots and lots of sprinkles. :) my sister Jenn and little Michael came over to visit. :) Jenn needed to go to the store, little Michael stayed, and he said, "uncle chris, ice cream" :) awww! :) he wanted an ice cream cone. :) Kayla, Taylynn, and i helped Michael make an ice cream cone, and he put some sprinkles on top. :) he was smiling and smiling :) we all enjoyed our ice cream cones. :) we gave some vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, to Pug, and Tucker, they were enjoying the ice cream too. :) This was awesome! :) The cupcakes and cake finished baking. :) we let the cupcakes cool down for a little while, and then got ready to decorate them. :) We were sharing lots of smiles, enjoying the spirit of the day. :) We used vanilla frosting to decorate the ice cream cone cupcakes. :) We spread the frosting on the cupcakes, then added sprinkles. :) the cupcakes came out great, and look so nice. :)
We were all hanging out, enjoying some ice cream. :) i thanked Kayla, Taylynn, and little Michael for helping. :) i also thanked my mom and sister Lisa again when she arrived home from work, for picking up baking friday supplies :) We had so much fun today, baking ice cream cone cupcakes, and having an ice cream party. :) We have nice extra cake too, that we're adding frosting too, it's so nice to have the extra treats in the kitchen to enjoy. :) We love summer time, and are so happy, to celebrate joyful times with you and your family's :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too. :)

We're enjoying a SUPER MEGA SWEET AWESOME DAY!!! :) BAKING FRIDAY! :) we love it! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) This week is rocking and rolling! :) There's so many great things going on, and many special memories being made. :) We feel very blessed, and thankful, to be able to enjoy celebrating these joyful times with you and your family's :) it's been a week of summer celebrations, and there's many more great things to look forward too. :) We've had so much fun this week, celebrating Kayla's and Lisa's birthday's, visiting with grandma, going to the post office, enjoying the gardens, and soaking up all of the wonderful times, and moments, with all of the memories being made. :) the weekend is arriving with continued summer spirit. :) it's been a big week, with everything going on. :) i think my family and i will be close to home this weekend. :) There's a chance for severe weather here tomorrow. we're hopefult he weather won't be severe. we're gonna be keeping a close eye on our local news, and weather channel for updates. There is a chance we may go to either the dollar store, and walmart this upcoming weekend. :) if the weather is cooler on sunday, i'd love to do some light gardening, tending the plants, and taking new nature and garden pictures. :) i want to spot some hummingbirds, i'd love to take pictures of them. :) We're all stocked up on the nice nectar food i made yesterday, i got a whole pot full of nectar food in the fridge, to refill the feeders when they need refilling. :)
This evening, my mom, Lisa, and i are gonna go to mcdonalds. :) i have a coupon for a free quarter pounder sandwich, and i'd also love to get an iced coffee. :) it'll be nice getting some treats. :) There's many more great things to look forward too. :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) We love to talk, and watch ghost adventures. :) it's paranormal night on the travel channel. :) Holly and i checked online, the new season of ghost adventures begins August 16th, and they are going to have a special 2 hour halloween show this year! :) it's gonna be awesome! :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us. :) You all are very special friends, and are wonderfully nice, and sweet. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and we hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully safe, fun, and happy weekend. :)
