i checked in on our plants this morning, they're doing well :) later on during the day, we recieved some replenishing rain :) It's so nice for the plants :) i began to gather some baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin decorate, and set up our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) today i decorated with a summer nature theme :) our kitchen looked great! :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they went out to shop today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's very nice and sweet of them :) i prepared a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :)
After 2pm, Alyssa, and the triplets came over. :) they brought over some cupcake mix too, for the cupcakes :) it's very nice of them :) Around 2:55pm, i went out into the kitchen to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school shortly after 3pm :) Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over too :) Kayla and i wanted to keep the ice cream cones and sprinkles a surprise, for the kids :) We were all gathering around :) Each week, we get lots of great use, using our baking friday supplies we've recieved over the years :) our nice aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more :) these special supplies are always a great part of our baking and cooking each week :) our kitchen was all set, and we were all set, and ready to bake some goodies :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) It's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We first began by preparing the pink lemonade cupcakes :) We love baking friday teamwork! :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) aww! :) she loves to pick out the eggs :) We had a nice bowl, with spoons :) the kids love to help, and they get so proud, when they get to add in the ingredients, and super stirring :) The kids were much calmer this week, and did really well :) We're so proud of them :) we had some nice baking cups for the cupcakes, and after stirring the cupcakes mix, we put the cake mix into the baking cups :) the kids are learning a lot about baking, and are really proud of how well they've been doing :) Kayla and i love to encourage the kids, and help them with learning about baking :) i put the cupcakes into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)
