baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a sweet and awesome, Pretzel party in the kitchen!!! :) Sharing a super fun, and delightful baking friday adventure! :) it sure is great, feeling better, and my family and i joining eachother today in the kitchen, for some good old fashioned, baking friday fun, with the flour flying in the air, and with you all with us in spirit :) Awww! :) A special THANK YOU to you all, our dear and wonderful friends :) Thank you, for comforting us this week, and uplifting our spirits, keeping us in good spirits, as we've been getting well, and are so glad, and thankful, to be on the mend, feeling better, and excited, to have a nice pretzel party baking friday adventure today :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, and i baked some nice, buttery garlic homemade pretzels :) They came out great! :) Jenn and Mikey surprised us, coming over, around baking time :) Mikey was ready to join right in, on the baking friday fun :) awww! :) We love these awesome times, and have many more baking friday adventures planned, as superbowl week approaches next week, we'll be baking our annual, Superbowl Field themed cake, featuring the team colors, of the Patriots and Seahawks, and we then have, 2 Valentine's day themed baking friday adventures planned, as February will be arriving soon :) winter season has settled in, and it's always nice, to get the kitchen cozy warm :)
This morning, it was a beautiful new sunny day, rising and shining :) my family and i are feeling much better, than earlier in the week :) it feels really nice, to be feeling better :) i knew this morning, with feeling better than earlier this week, it was gonna be my first opportunity, for a brief, short nature walk, since last sunday. awww! i got a big bowl of goodies this morning, for our wonderful nature animal friends, the birds, and squirrels :) i've really missed them this week, and i was excited, about going out, to give them a nice feast, for friday, their baking friday breakfast feast :) i bundled up nicely, including wearing my warm winter hat, and fleece coat hood :) i went outside, it was nice, awww! :) i saw some crows flying over, my spirit was saying. "nature friends, i'm back!!!" :) awww! :) BIG SMILES! :) i put some goodies in our front yard, and our backyard :) i saw a red cardinal flying off into the distance, and a bluejay too! :) it was just like old times! :) awww! :) this was great! :) i was so happy, to feed our nature animal friends :) it's always such a joy to my heart :)
i began to gather our baking friday decorations, a special Sunflower theme today, including displaying my brand new sunflowers flag, that our dear and lovely friends Elizabeth (Horsebackrider123) and her family gave me :) i love to decorate our kitchen :) it was glowing, with sunflower spirit :) i made a nice healthy lunch today :) i've been getting my appetite back :) i had some nice chicken brooth with boiled wheat barley, and some corn with salsa, and chipotle ranch salad dressing :) lunch was delicious. :) i enjoyed some quality time here on ds, this afternoon, writing to friends :) i love communicating with everyone :) my mom and dad went out to shop at walmart during the afternoon, they picked up some nice flour, and yeast for the pretzels :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) a special thank you for my mom and dad :)
shortly before 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, and i cleaned a nice baking pan, and i also got some water boiling on the stove, for the pretzels :) We love these nice homemade pretzels, they are one of our favorite treats to bake :) Kayla and Taylynn both arrived home from school, shortly after 3pm, and Jenn and Mikey surprised us, by coming over :) awww! :) this was great! :) Mikey mentioned, he wanted to bake with us :) very cool! :) i wore my nice new Australia themed apron, that our dear, and lovely friends, my ds mum (Bloss) and her family sent me, plus we love to use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and other baking supplies, that are a special part of our baking friday, and cooking adventures, throughout the week :) This was awesome, back in the kitchen, ready to bake! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake !bake! bake! :)
Kayla, Mikey, and i were beginning our baking friday adventure! :) This was awesome! :) we had lots of nice flour :) We first added 1 cup of water, and 1 packet of yeast, and stirred :) We then added in, some vegetable soul, garlic powder, some sugar, and super stirred some more :) it was then time, for the flour! :) We usually add in as much flour, as we need :) we used white flour today, 4 cups :) We were stirring the flour, and sharing some smiles in the kitchen today, Mikey was proud, to be sitting on his stool in the kitchen, and my mom and Jenn came out into the kitchen too :)
The flour dough was really nice, i kneaded the dough on the counter, and then sliced the dough, into portions :) Kayla, Mikey, and i then rolled the portions of the dough, and folded the pretzel dough, into shape of pretzels :) i then used a nice metal spoon, to put 4 pretzels into the boiling water, for about 1 minute :) while the pretzels were boiling up, i used butter to grease the baking pan :) i put the boiled pretzels onto the pan. :) Kayla and i then sprinkled some melted butter, garlic powder, and some salt, onto the pretzels :) it was then time, for the pretzels to bake! bake! bake! :) i put the pretzels into the oven :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, i had a nice ginger ale :)We were all hanging out, the pretzels i could smell! :) i'm gaining back my sense of smell :) the pretzels baked, for a good 20 minutes, we usually bake the pretzels, until they got this nice golden brownish color on top :) The pretzels came out great :)
i put the pretzels on a plate, Mikey wanted a pretzel :) We gave him one :) i thanked Kayla and Mikey for helping bake goodies :) They did a great job :) next week, we're having our annual, TEAM FLOUR vs TEAM SUGAR, Superbowl themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen :) it's gonna be so much fun :) We look forward to the adventure :) A special shoutout, to all of our family and family of friends, all around the world, for all of the nice foods, snacks, meals, cooked, and baked, throughout the week :) We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) Thank you, for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) cooking, baking, is very wholesome, and rewarding :) Homemade Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit, of baking time! :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) January 23rd, 2015 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a nice friday :) my family and i are very thankful, to be feeling better, and continuing to heal more and more, with each day :) We'll be close to home, this upcoming weekend :) There is a chance we could go to the dollar store tomorrow, before the snowy weather arrives. :) i'd love to buy some stickers, for the new cards i want to write :) on sunday, i'm gonna have a special writing day :) i want to write cards, and some letters :) it'll be a good day to put some dvds on, writing, and maybe even tidying up my computer room too :) There's lots to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call Holly :) We love to talk, and gonna watch 2 episodes, of "most haunted" show, on youtube :) we love our paranormal night party night, on friday nights :) my family and i are feeling very blessed, thankful, to be feeling better, and slowly, gradually easing back into a normal routine :) We thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and are special friends :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a nice peaceful weekend :)

baking friday supplies! :) a wonderfully special thank you, for my mom and dad :) They went to the store earlier today, they picked up some nice flower, and yeast :) it's very nice, and generous of them :) Thank you mom and dad, so very much! :) We all love to chip in each week, to get baking friday supplies :) it's a very special tradition in our lives :)

Preparing the Pretzels! :) We love pretzels, and ever since we made our first batch of pretzels about 2 years ago, we've continued to make pretzels :) it's a fun recipe, with lots of nice steps, to making the pretzels :) Mikey and Jenn came over. :) Mikey joined in on the pretzel making fun :)
We made the pretzel dough, and then sliced the dough into portions :)
