baking friday :) Homemade garden Popcorn, Oatmeal Peanut butter, Chocolate chip cookies :)

"Lets make these cookies, and popcorn! LETS BAKE!"- my nieces Kayla, Taylynn, and little nephew Mikey said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) A super fun, sweet November Wholesome, Baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) Welcoming Kayla back into the kitchen today, for some baking friday fun, and we made fresh hot Garden Popcorn for the very first time! :) my dad joined in on the popcorn fun, as we used corn cobs from our garden, we grew during spring, and summer :) We put the whole corn cob into a paper bag, folded the top of the bag, and popped the popcorn in the microwave! :) the popcorn popped right off the cob! :) SWEET!!! :) We're so very happy and excited! :) We grew this awesome popcorn from seed, back in spring season, and it grew and grew, and today, on this sweet wholesome, and joyful crisp cool November day, we made homemade popcorn, and lots of cookies treats! :) We had the flour flying, popcorn popping, and sharing lots and lots of smiles! :) come on over, for some fresh popped popcorn, and cookies! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) Keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today, Kayla, Taylynn, Mikey, my dad, and i, made homemade popcorn, and baked oatmeal peanut butter cookies, and chocolate chip cookies :) it's a baking friday party in the kitchen! :) Today, a very special return to the kitchen, Welcome back Kayla!!! : )awww! : )Kayla's track and field season has ended, and she returned to the kitchen today, for some awesome baking friday fun :) Plus, my dad joining in, to help make the popcorn!!! : )oh yeah!!! :) a very cool part of our garden all season, was our corn plants :) We planted the corn plants, from seed, and watched the plants grow and grow, all throughout the season :) in September, we harvested the corn, and removed the corn, from the cornhusks :) We let the corn cobs dry, in a nice bowl :) The cobs dried very nicely :) We were very happy and excited, about making popcorn, with the corn cobs :) Back in early spring, there was a special online promotion, called "boomchickapop popcorn" free sample of popcorn seeds :) i requested one of the free samples, and we recieved it shortly afterwards :) it's a company that makes organic popcorn, and they welcomed gardeners to take pictures, to share their experiences, making the popcorn : )very cool! :) We were so thrilled, to help the corn plants grow all season :) it was awesome!!! :)
i want to share, all about this awesome popcorn making! :) back in 2007, our dear friends Arlene and her family i n Vermont, sent us these popcorn cobs, that can be put into a paper bag, and popped in the microwave :) it was so neat :) We have always dreamed of growing corn, and making popcorn like this :) Today, my dad and i wanted to test the corn cobs, to see if they would pop :) we first put a few kernels from one of the corn cobs into a brown paper bag, and we then folded the top of the bag to seal it, and put the bag into the microwave :) it POPPED!!! :)WOW! : )my dad and i were thrilled! :) We tried the popcorn, SWEET YUMMY POPCORN! :) from the garden! :) We then tried, a whole corn cob! :) we did the same thing, putting it into the bag, and it popped and popped, oh my! :) it POPPITY POPPED!!! :) at one point, when it first began to pop, the whole bag in the microwave went about 2 inches into the air! :) hehe! :) it was cool! :) it was so neat, hearing hearing the popcorn popping right off the corn cob! :) AWESOME!!! :) we were so excited, for this experience! :) it's a 1st for us :) i brought the popcorn out of the microwave, we cooked it for 2 minutes :) i poured the popcorn into a bowl once it cooled down a bit, and my mom, dad, and i each enjoyed some popcorn :) it's really good! :)
We feel so thankful, and blessed, to have this wonderful opportunity, to experience nature, and gardening joys :) Popcorn plants, that first began to grow, in our garden greenhouse last May, and then, transplanting the plants into our gardens, and them growing and growing :) absolutely incredible, and now, making fresh homemade garden popcorn on this sweet autumn November day :) it's a sweet joyful memory, we'll always cherish, and treasure :) i knew that later on during the day, the kids and i would be making more popcorn :) A very cool nature, and gardening smile :) this is awesome!!! :)
My family and i are thinking of you all, and we hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day! :) it's sweet classic, and golden November! :) it's that time of the year, the weather getting cooler, the crisp air, and they are saying, we may recieve a snowfall next friday!!! :) it's a wholesome time of the year, Thanksgiivng month :) my family and i feel very thankful, and blessed, to have the wonderful joy, of being able to celebrate the seasons, and holidays with everyone :) You all are very special friends to us, and always have a wonderful place in our hearts :)as the Thanksgiving holiday is less than 3 weeks away, it's a nice time, to get the kitchen nice and cozy warm, for some awesome cooking, and baking :) a time of the year, where nice hot drinks, like tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, helps warm the soul, and brings a peaceful happiness, that shines in our hearts :) it's the approaching holiday season :) We're so happy, excited, and thrilled about celebrating with you and your wonderful family's :)
This morning, we had a sweet new beautifully sunny morning, rising and shining :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you everyone, so very much! : )You all are very nice, and sweet :) it was an awesome morning! :) i gathered a nice big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning sunrise nature walk :) i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for the birds and squirrels :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts! :) it was so nice, to see the blue sky, and the sun shining :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom :) She had some nice baking supplies in the kitchen cupboard, and she mentioned yesterday, we could use the supplies, if we wanted :) Awww! :) it's so nice, and sweet of her :) We decided to make some nice oatmeal peanut butter cookies, and chocolate chip cookies :)
Around mid-morning, i gathered baking friday supplies, and autumn November decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) i love to decorate our kitchen, and getting everything all set, and ready :) it was gonna be awesome, having such a fun adventure today :) my dad and i popped our 1st popcorn cob around noon time :) i had a nice lunch earlier, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) around 2:55pm, i gathered some more of our baking friday supplies, and went back out into the kitchen :) Jenn and Mikey came over, and we were all getting ready, for a super fun adventure :) we were so excited, about Kayla joining back in on the baking friday adventures :) We always ask Taylynn too, if she'd like to bake :) She comes out into the kitchen from time to time :) We were all very excited, we got our picture taken in the kitchen :)
Each week, we get lots of great enjoyment, using our baking friday supplies :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more, are always a very special part of our baking friday adventures :) You all are always right there with us in spirit in the kitchen, and we're with you all in spirit too :) i texted friends throughout the course of the day, to wish everyone a happy baking friday :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were all set, and ready for a super fun adventure! : )calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! : )We first began, by preparing the oatmeal peanut butter cookies :) i said to Kayla ,"pick out the best egg ever!" :) our Egg selector has returned!!! : )awww! :) Kayla was very happy, to help out in the kitchen :) She opened the fridge, and selected the egg :) Mikey was ready to help add the ingredients to the bowl :) We added in the oats, sugar, brown sugar, flour! :) oh my! :) We always love to get the flour flying in the air in the kitchen :) We also added in an egg, butter, a little salt, some peanut butter, and reese's peanut butter chips :) we also saved some of the peanut butter chips to snack on :) We super stirred the ingredients, i had 3 cookie baking pans all set :) i used butter to grease the baking pans, and we put lots of nice cookies onto the pan. :) it was then time, for the 1st batch of cookies to bake! bake! bake! :) oh my! :) our kitchen smelled great! :) We're cookie monsters!!! :) we were looking forward to trying the cookies :)
As the 1st batch of oatmeal peanut butter cookies were baking, we then began to prepare the chocolate chip cookies :) my mom gave us a nice box of cookie baking mix :) SWEET! :) we got another great egg, some more butter, and super stirred the ingredients :) We were sharing lots of smiles, as we baked goodies :) my mom, dad, and sister Jenn came out into the kitchen too :) we were talking about holiday baking season coming up soon :) we may make and decorate a gingerbread house in December :) We love having lots of fun, enjoying our baking friday adventures throughout the seasons, and year :) the first batch of cookies finished baking :) i put the chocolate chip cookies into the oven to bake :) while the cookies were baking, we made another bag of popcorn, with one of the popcorn cobs :)it was so nice! :) we still have 3 more corn cobs :) i want to save some for when the holidays are here, and football playoffs/superbowl :)

We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) We're so very happy and excited! :) The month of November is settling in nicely, with lots of great joys, and wholesome traditions, that lead us into the Thanksgiving time :) We're so very happy, thankful, and blessed to be able to experience wonderful days, and great times like this, sharing in, and celebrating the spirit of the season with everyone :) The weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) i'm ready to go absolutely sweet shopping wild!!! at the Christmas tree shop :) It's gonna be so nice, shopping this weekend :) the Christmas tree shop, is a really nice store :) they have lots of great items, and the greetings cards aisle is amazing! :) i look forward to buying special greetings cards, and treasures :) i'll share with everyone, all about our shopping adventure :) i'm very excited, about stocking up on greetings cards :) on sunday, i'm going to do some nice writings, writing cards, and watching football :) it's gonna be an awesome weekend :) my family and i feel very blessed :) Each day, you all always warm our hearts, brighten our days, and bring us lots of great joy, happiness, and peace :) We thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) We love to talk, and are going to watch 2 episodes of "Most Haunted" :) We love our paranormal shows party night :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)

CORN HARVEST! :) This is a picture of the dried corn, that we grew in our garden, this past season :) it was such a cool experience, to plant the corn, and watching it grow throughout the season :) we recieved these corn seeds, from a website that was giving free samples :) After we harvested the corn, we let it dry throughout the month of October, out of the cornhusk :) it's so nice, the joys of gardening, and harvesting :)
