PUMPKIN PATCH themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun!!! :) We had a very special guest in the kitchen today, my little nephew Mikey joined in on the baking friday fun! :) Kayla and i were helping him with the food coloring, he was decorating the cake, cookies, smiling and smiling, and clapping, as he was having so much fun!!! :) awww! :) he was so excited, and happy with each time he put a pumpkin decorative on the cake! :) aww! :) we were eating candy corn, and sharing lots and lots of smiles! :) HALLOWEEN SPIRIT!!! :) WE LOVE IT!!! :) oh my! :) This is sweet classic, and golden halloween time!!! :) You can feel the spirit, energy, and excitement in the air! :) TRICK OR TREAT! :) TRICK OR TREAT! :) We are ready for the halloween moon to rise and shine bright, as we count down the days, until Halloween night! :) Today's baking friday adventure, was a pure delight! :) my family and i wish you all could come over to enjoy some baking friday goodies! :) awww! :) BOO-eautiful, and wonderfully joyful spirit and pictures of the day! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my little niece Kayla, little nephew Mikey, and i baked a halloween pumpkin patch cake, and halloween pumpkin cookies :) it was awesome fun! :) Taylynn had a big afternoon, visiting with her dad, who is going to be deployed soon, and wanted to spend some time with Taylynn :) Taylynn was with us in spirit today during our adventure, and we got the flour flying all around our kitchen today! :) Little Mikey wanted to join in on the baking friday fun! :) he, my sister Jenn, and my mom were in the kitchen, and there was awesome moments of spirited fun, as Mikey was so happy, and excited to add the pumpkins to the cake, each time he added one, he clapped and clapped, and smiled! :) awww! :) we were clapping with him! :) awww! :) We were having so much fun, this was pure awesome, and sweet joyful time! :) little Mikey said, "happy! baking! awesome!" :) hehe! :) Adorable! :)
This day is rocking, and pumpkin rolling!!! on this sweet classic, and golden day 25 of the halloween season! :) only 6 more days until halloween holiday!!! :) my family and i think of you all often, and are so happy, excited, and thrilled to celebrate the season with you all :) as i sit here writing about our adventures, i've got my halloween town all lit up with excitement on this sweet friday evening :)this is a spook-tacular day, and a BOO-eautiful halloween season! :) We're having so much fun, and having the time of our lives, celebrating this awesome season with you all :) There's so many great things going on, and many special memories being made :) We are gearing up, for Halloween holiday, and today, we wanted to celebrate PUMPKINS, the Halloween pumpkins that make halloween, HALLOWEEN!!! :) the happy smiling pumpkins, that glow bright on halloween night, are one of our favorite joys! :) We look forward to carvign pumpkins this sunday, and baking and roasting the seeds, and also going trick or treating all around our neighborhood next thursday evening, and seeing all of the halloween decorations, and pumpkins glowing all around, and lighting candles in our pumpkins :)
IT'S HALLOWEEN TIME!!! :) my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a great day! :) this morning, a beautiful new october morning, with a chilly crisp air, and a coolness that makes it feel like halloween time! :) i wished my little nieces Kayla, Taylynn, and our family, a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) we've been looking forward to our super fun adventure today, baking some nice treats :) since our awesome pumpkin picking adventure last weekend, we thought it would be cool to have a halloween pumpkins themed baking friday adventure today :) i went outside early this morning, bundled up warmly, for my early morning nature walk :) The moon was way up in the sky still visible, as the autumn air was so crisp, we got a light frost, and it's gonna be about 28 degrees here overnight, brrrrr! brrrrr! warm cozy hugs :) i put lots of goodies all around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i made some nice hot apple cider tea, CHEERS!!! :) i'm wearing my orange halloween shirt today, and feeling the halloween spirit :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa :) They went to the grocery store and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) Thank you mom and Lisa, so very much! : )they help make baking friday possible each week :) around mid-morning, i began to gather baking friday supplies, and decoratives, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) part of the great baking friday fun each week, is decorating our kitchen :) We love to get everything all set up, and ready :) we do some of our biggest kitchen decorative displays, during the halloween season :) today is our 4th halloween themed baking friday adventure of October :) We've had such a fun season of baking, and sharing and celebrasting these awesome times :) so many sweet memories being made, that will always and forever cherish, and treasure :) we love all of our wonderful halloween cards, and decoratives :) we love to decorate, and our kitchen looked so nice, all set up with pumpkins decorations :) i cooked a nice lunch, and early afternoon, enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) Around mid-afternoon, my mom said, "Chris, little Mikey wants to bake with you all" :) awww! :) i said, "cool!" :) This is so nice! :) We love when little Mikey joins in on the baking friday fun :)
Around 3pm, i gathered some more baking friday supplies, and ventured back out into our kitchen, to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) i got the oven on, and was washing the bowl, and baking dish pan :) Kaylal and Taylynn arrived home from school shortly after 3pm :) Taylynn was getting ready to go visit with her dad, and little Mikey was on his way over :) Taylynn, Kayla, and i got our picture taken together, before Taylynn went out :) We began to get ready to bake! :)
i wore my new apron that our dear and lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) and her family sent me, plus we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and pot holders that we have recieved from friends, all around the world. :) each one, is very special, and unique. :) we get lots of nice use, from all of our baking friday supplies. :) i sent texts to friends today to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, for the wonderful texts! :) You all are always with us in spirit in the kitchen during our adventures, and we're with you all in spirit too. :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake! :) calling all cookie monsters, and halloween spirits! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) we love adding in the ingredients to the big bowl :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) She opened the fridge, and selected the eggs. :) we were getting the cake mix ready, and little Mikey and Jenn arrived around 3:30pm :) Mikey came into the kitchen, and said, "Happy! baking!" :) awww! :) he loves to join us for baking friday :) We got the cake all mixed up, and i said to Kayla, "i got a funny halloween joke! what happens when you eat an apple a day?" and i said, "it keeps DR. ACULA away!" hehehehe! :) halloween smiles! :) this was awesome! :) We had the cake baking nicely in the oven, and began to prepare the sugar cookies :)
Little Mikey was all set, he was helping add in the flour, butter, and was eating some candy corn candies! :) awww! :) i joined him and had some candy corn candies too! :) trick or treat! :) we mixed the cookie dough mix, we added in some extra butter, because we love extra buttery sugar cookies :) We were having so much fun baking ,it was so nice that Mikey was helping us bake, and Taylynn was with us in spirit too :) We had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen today :) we used our nice pumpkin cookie cutters, to make the pumpkin shaped cookies :) i used butter to grease the baking pans, and we put the cookies onto the pans, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) the cookies and cake were baking nicely :)
We began to prepare the different colored frostings :) Mikey made the green frosting, Kayla made the orange and yellow frostings :) mikey tried some of the green frostings, he got his lips all green! hehe! :) my mom and Jenn were in the kitchen, checking in on the baking friday fun :) i mentioned to my family, about the nice goodies you all bake :) We're so happy, and excited, this awesome tradition, we're always with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, little Mikey had a nice popsicle, he was so happy! :) the cake and cookies had finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) We were hanging out for a bit, enjoying talking about halloween :) Little Mikey is gonna be dressing up as a landscape worker, for halloween! :) he and Jenn, and Mike are carving pumpkins saturday :) the cookies and cake had finished cooling down, it was time to decorate! :)
We first decorated the sugar cookies :) We spread orange frosting on the cookies, and used yellow frosting, to make the eyes :) little Mikey was so happy to help us decorate :) the pumpkin cookies came out great! :) We then began to decorate the halloween pumpkin patch cake :) we spread green frosting on the cake, and put a nice farmhouse decorative on the cake :) Kayla, Mikey, and i then put the pumpkins on the cake, it was so much fun! :) little Mikey was so happy and excited! :) each time he put a pumpkin on the cake, he was smiling and clapping! :) awww! :)we all joined Mikey and clapped too! :) hehe! :) we put candy corn around the cake, as the pumpkin patch fence, and we then put pumpkin themed napkins around the sides of the cake, to give it a cool pumpkin patch theme, it looks awesome! :) the cake came out great! :) We were all gathered around, my dad was checking out the cake, we took Mikey's picture next to the cake :) it was so nice :) We had so much fun, baking the pumpkin patch cake, and cookies, and we love these very special times, we cherish and treasure them :) little Mikey brought home a nice cookie, and candy corn, with a pumpkin napkin :) Kayla and i thanked Mikey for helping bake, and we said we'd love for him to bake with us again soon :) awww! :) i thanked Kayla for helping, and i also thanked my mom and Lisa again for picking up baking friday supplies at the store :) this was such a super fun adventure, and amazing month of halloween themed baking friday adventures :) in November, we're going to have wholesome fall season/Thanksgiving themed baking friday adventures :) There's many more super fun adventures to look forward too :)
