baking friday :) good old fashioned homemade Pretzels :)

Happy baking friday! :) come on over, for some homemade pretzels! :) Kayla and i baked a nice batch of pretzels today, with a little cinnamon, and sugar :) a nice pretzel, and a salad, for dinner this evening :) It's an awesome day, and many more great things to look forward too :)
Hi angel friends! :) It's our favorite day, baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) awww! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) It's been a big week, with many awesome summer time festivities, traditions, and celebrations :) it's one of our biggest week's of summer time :) We had an amazing time, celebrating Kayla's and Lisa's birthday's with you all, in recent days :) with all of the nice fun, excitement, and many smiles being made :) The BBQ cookout, all of the awesome foods, drinks, and desserts, and visiting with my grandma :) it's been a really spirited week, and we will always and forever, cherish, and treasure the beautiful memories made, from the week :) Thank you all again, for celebrating with us :) We feel very blessed, and thankful, to have the wonderful opportunity to share in, and celebrate these very special times with everyone :) the summer season, continues to shine, and blossom many beautiful memories, into our hearts :)
this morning, we had a wonderful new day, rising and shining, with a golden summer sunrise :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday, and shared your lovely happy baking friday wishes with them, throughout the day :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) You always warm our hearts, and brighten our days :) We've been having some awesome adventures this summer, with our baking friday adventures :) with the big week this week, and all of the summer time cheer, we decided to have a light baking friday today, baking one of our favorite treats, PRETZELS! :) yummy yummy! :) pretzels have become, one of our favorite treats to bake :) it's a really simple recipe, where some extra ingredients can be added, like butter, cinnamon, and even for garlic flavored pretzels :) i always get so excited, when we bake pretzels, on baking friday's :)
i began my day with a nice nature walk :) i love to gather a big bowl of goodies, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i was putting the goodies, all around our yard, and checked in on the plants :) The plants are doing really well :) Growing, and flourishing :) i knew i'd be giving the plants a nice watering today :) i love tending the plants, summer time gardening :) the plants are really thriving, with the blend of weather we've been having : )From the nice rain nourishment, with the warm sunny weather, the plants are very happy, and healthy :) it's really one of the most incredible joys, to see the plants flourishing :) the gardens have grown so much, right before our very own eyes :) i am so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled, about making a new garden tour video to share with everyone :)it's gonna be awesome! :)
i decorated our kitchen today, with a nice sunflowers theme :) seeing those happy smiling sunflowers, growing in the garden, and growing blossoms, makes me very excited, about greeting the sunflowers soon, with a sunny smile :) We'll be seeing some awesome and beautiful sunflowers blossoming, in the upcoming weeks :) in our kitchen today, i put some sunflower decoratives, and our sunflower tableclothe, on the kitchen side counter :) decorating our kitchen for baking friday, is always one of my favorite traditions. :) The kitchen looked great! :) i made a nice lunch, corn on the cob, and a fresh crisp salad with pickles, chicken, and turkey :) i've been craving some salads, and was so happy to make one :) i went outside around late morning today, and ready to tend the plants :) i gave the plants a really good watering :) as i watered the plants, i spotted a butterfly, and heard many birds, singing around our yard, and neighborhood :) it's always so nice to see, the birds visiting, they often stop by our yard around noon time, it's like they are having their lunch break :) very adorable! :) Early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :)
my mom mentioned that Jenn and Mikey were shopping today, for groceries :) Taylynn was feeling a bit tired, and is resting. It was just Kayla and i in the kitchen today, but Taylynn and Mikey, and you all, with us in spirit :) it was just shortly after 2:30pm, i asked Kayla if she'd like to help bake goodies, and baking a bit earlier :) She said, "sure!" :) awww! :) i had our nice baking friday supplies, in the kitchen :) we get lots of nice use each week, from our awesome aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and other baking friday supplies, that we have recieved from friends, over the years :) these awesome supplies, are always a very special part, of our adventures :) We feel your loving prescence and spirits with us in the kitchen each week too :) i love to share with my family, about the nice goodies, you all cook, and bake, throughout the week :) It's awesome fun, and very special, getting to join eachother, in our kitchens each week :) we sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) baking friday is a wonderfully whole tradition :)
Kayla and i began to prepare the pretzels :) we wanted to add a little cinnamon flavor to the pretzels :) it's a very easy recipe, that is so nice, and really enjoyable to make :)
-Flour (about 4 to 6 cups of flour)
-1 cup of water :)
-1 packet of yeast
-melted butter, spices, can be added to the pretzels :)
We first put the water and yeast into a bowl, and stirred :) We added in a little cinnamon, butter, and salt :) We then began to add the flour, into the water/yeast :) we like to add in, 1 cup of flour at a time:) We used about 4 cups of flour, to make today's pretzels :) we mixed in the flour, and it became a nice dough texture, i kneaded the dough :) i then put the dough on the counter :) Kayla and i were talking about baking friday, and some upcoming adventures, we'd love to have :) We missed Taylynn and Mikey joining us in the kitchen, but we know they'll definitely join in on some upcoming baking friday adventures :) i sliced the pretzel dough, into portions :) Kayla and i then rolled the pretzel dough portions, and made the dough into pretzels shape :)
i got some nice water in a cooking pot, heating up on the stove :) once the water had heated up enough, i put about 3 to 5 pretzels into the water, this gives the pretzels a nice texture, and also makes the pretzels get a bit bigger :) i melted some butter, and put the butter into a bowl :) Kayla added some nice cinnamon to the butter, and stirred :) my mom was coming out into the kitchen, she loves to see the goodies we're baking :) we put the pretzels onto the baking pan, and i then put the pretzels into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) yummy yummy! :) We love the scent of pretzels baking :) we bake the pretzels, at 350 degrees, for about 25 to 30 minutes :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) the pretzels baked very nicely :) i look forward to having a nice pretzel this evening, with a salad :) delicious! :)
i thanked Kayla for helping bake :) We've got many more super fun baking friday adventures, this summer season :) We want to have a popcorn theme, a ninja turtles theme for Mikey, plus, a carnival theme, and lots more, that will lead us into our annual September/Fall baking friday's :) we've still got a good 6 weeks, of summer time baking friday's, we look forward to all of our adventures :) a very special shoutout, to many family and friends, cooking, and baking this week :) it's so exciting, to hear about the nice goodies, everyone is cooking, and baking :) i wish we all could gather, and have a huge picnic! :) awww! :) Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the sweet spirit, of summer time :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) July 18th, 2014 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)

baking friday supplies! :) my family and i love baking friday, and love to chip in each week, to get the supplies for our baking :) We've got plenty of supplies for this week, to bake pretzels :) we love being stocked up :) Baking friday is a very special tradition in our lives :) it's always a super fun adventure in the kitchen :)
Kayla and i prepared the pretzels :) Pretzels are one of our favorite treats to bake :) We added a little butter and cinnamon with sugar, to the dough ,and also put some nice cinnamon in butter, and dunked the pretzels into the butter/cinnamon, and then baked them :)
