We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today my mom, niece Alyssa, and i baked Ghosts themed brownies, and baked mummies themed hotdogs, with crescent rolls :) Awww! :) we had a really nice time, we did miss having the kids in the kitchen, but they are busy today, especially Kayla with cross country/track team, and Mikey and his dad Mike had an adventure. awww! :) they were definitely with us in spirit in the kitchen today, as we baked up some yummy goodies today, our annual ghosts/spirits themed baking friday adventure :) i am so happy, and thankful my mom and Alyssa joined me in the kitchen today :) We love cooking, baking, and are also already planned, a spooky cool zombies themed baking friday adventure for next week :) my niece Alyssa said, "chris, i'm gonna buy us lots of baking supplies!" :) awww! :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a beautiful day! :) This morning, as the sweet classic, and golden sunny October sun was rising up, it was a wonderful start, to this awesome 10th day, of the halloween season :) twas 3 weeks until Halloween Holiday! :) As the halloween moon still shines bright in the early morning sky, the spirit of the season is all around :) lots of festivities, traditions, and excitement :) this morning, i wished my family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are very nice, and sweet :)
The halloween season is in full swing, with lots of great things going on :) it's that time of the year, as the autumn crisp air is so very nicely cool in the mornings, and the nature is golden glowing, with the spirit of the season :) i love to go outside early, for my nature walks :) it's been a sweet nature-eee surprise, the past couple nature walks, getting to see the moon still visible in the sky during the early morning :) i love to see it! :) sun rising up, and that moon still glowing a bit :) i've been putting lots and lots of goodies all around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts! :) the air is so nice and cool now, during the days :) the nature is really glowing :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) They went out to shop today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) We all love to chip in each week, to get the baking friday supplies :) my mom and niece Alyssa, mentioned that they'd love to help bake today :) we knew Kayla and Mikey were gonna be busy, and sometimes Taylynn isn't in the mood to bake after school. it was so nice, of my mom and Alyssa, to offer to help me bake :) it brought me a smile :) i said, "COOL!" :)
around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and ventured out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) We do some of our biggest baking friday decorative displays, during halloween season :) our kitchen looked spook-tacular, and hauntingly fun, decorated with our ghosts themed decorations :) Alyssa was over early with the triplets, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden, visiting :) The triplets were very excited, to see our kitchen all decorated :) we believe within the next 6 months, they may begin to help out a little bit, with some baking friday's :) oh my! :) i'm already thinking about all of the awesome themed baking friday adventures, i could plan for them, especially with their favorite tv show characters, the Bubble Guppies, Elmo, and lots more :) plus, Kayla, Taylynn, and Mikey, will be joining in on some baking friday's too :) We love this very special traditions :)
earlier in the day, my sister Lisa treated me to a nice pumpkin spiced iced coffee, from dunkin donuts :) CHEERS! :) i cooked a nice lunch, soup, baked potatoes, and some homemade macaroni and cheese :) it was delicious! :) i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, this early afternoon, writing to friends, i also got a chance to upload some pictures of the baking friday kitchen decorations :) with my new computer, i'm able to upload more pictures, to share :) it's so nice, having a new computer, and really helps me to keep organized :) Around 2:50pm, i went back out into the kitchen :) my niece Alyssa came back over, we decided to get the brownies baking a little early :) We added the ingredients into the bowl, and Alyssa did really well, stirring :) my mom was in the kitchen too, helping out :) this was great! :)
i greased the baking dish, and we poured the brownies into the dish :) my mom, Alyssa, and i were talking about baking :) We want to do a cool spooky zombies themed baking friday adventure next week :) Alyssa loves to look up recipes online :) as we were baking today, i had a few moments, where i was thinking of the kids, and really missed having them in the kitchen, but they were with us in spirit, and i know soon, Kayla will be able to join in on the baking friday fun :) i was so glad, and thankful my mom and Alyssa were helping me bake today :) As the brownies were baking, we began to prepare, the mummies themed hotdogs :)
We used a package of hotdogs, we wrapped these nice crescent rolls around the hotdogs, to make them look like halloween mummies, and then put the hotdogs/crescent rolls into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) our kitchen smelled great! :) Alyssa and i made the different colored frostings for the ghosts themed brownies :) Alyssa needed to return back home. my mom filled in, helping with gearing up to decorate :) i thanked Alyssa, for helping today, before she went back home, and she mentioned she wants to buy some baking friday supplies, for us for next week's zombies theme :) it's gonna be a wild spooky cool baking friday! :)
the mummies hotdogs, and the brownies finished baking :) we took a little break, my mom was talking to me about my cool BOO ghost themed bag she got for me, about 10 years ago :)i had it with me in the kitchen :) after the brownies cooled down, my mom and i then heated up the frostings in the microwave for a few seconds, and then drizzled the frosting over the marshmallows that we put on top of the brownies :) We then used some orange frosting, to make the eyes and BOO mouth on the ghosts brownies :) they came out really good! :) i thanked my mom, for helping bake :) it was so nice, and sweet of my mom and Alyssa to help me bake today :) next week, we're gonna have a spooky cool zombies themed baking friday adventure :) we'll take all week, to plan it, and will be looking forward to it :) Thank you all, for joining us in our kitchen each week and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) We're with eachother in spirit :) this is so much fun, and very special :) a super cool halloween shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking this week :) Ghosts themed brownies, and Mummies themed hotdogs with crescent rolls, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit of halloween :) We love you all bunches and bunches! :) many great memories being made, to always cherish, and treasure! :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) October 10th, 2014 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a MEGA COOL GHOUL HALLOWEENISH DAY!!! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) it's a wonderful day, and a really cool week, with lots of spirited joy, and excitement of the season :) there's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) We're so happy, and excited, to celebrate the season with everyone :) it's only day 10, of halloween season : )There's still 3 full weeks, of halloween season fun! :) the SPOOK-TACULAR celebrations continue! :) This weekend, is gonna be spirit soaring awesome!!! :)Whooo! :) We're going shopping tomorrow, at the dollar store :) i'm going to buy some halloween goodies, treasures, and mailing supplies :) i want to buy some treats too :) olives, and pickles :) We may go for a nice fall foilage car ride this weekend too :) i'm gonna bring my digital camera, to take some nice pictures, of the fall foilage :) the trees are changing colors, all around :)
On sunday, i'm going to put together happy halloween goodies/treasures packages :) trick or treating around the world :) i'm also gonna watch some football :) i love spiritied weekends, especially during October :) i'll also have my halloween town all lit up, and shining bright, glowing with the spirit of halloween :) Tomorrow night, is a brand new episode of ghost adventures :) Tonight, our dear friend Holly and i are going to watch Halloween H2O :) it's a classic spooky movie :) We've been having some awesome halloween movie nights :) The movie party is on! :) Woot! :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone, in my journals :) my family and i are having so much fun, celebrating the season :) Thank you all so very much, for celebrating with us, and for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)
