We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked ghosts themed brownies, and pumpkin cream cheese cookies :) We love halloween time, and have been getting into the halloween baking friday spirit :) keeping with these traditions, is very special to us :) it's not been the most smoothest day, and a bit un-organized in the kitchen today, but definitely did my best to put together a baking friday adventure :)
lately, i've been feeling a bit down, some seasonal depression, that i've been trying to push through, by keeping busy, and with routines, but has been a bit hard at times. i got off to a bit slow of a start with the day today, but wanted to do my best, to keep focused on positives, in the halloween spirit, and putting together a fun baking friday adventure for the kids :) it got a bit wild in the kitchen today, and un-organized, but it happens from time to time, but we're just happy to be spending time together, sharing in a wholesome tradition, of baking friday :)
i went through all of the early baking friday tradition of the morning, with wishing my family and friends, a happy baking friday, sharing your baking friday wishes with my family. :)You all are always so nice, and sweet :) i decorated our kitchen, with a spook-tacular, BOO-eautiful halloween ghosts theme :) it looked great :) i had some good talks on the phone. it helps me to talk, especially about how i've been feeling a build up of depression, and have been feeling flat lately. i've been worried about friends, who haven't been well, also have been missing friends, that i haven't heard from much, and just feeling like the seasonal depression, snapping at me a bit. i've been trying to put my all into each day, like my halloween town, but also wanting to take better care of myself. i've felt stuck lately, with my healthy eating goal, and not being able to really do as well as i've wanted with the goal, and i've felt discouraged by being up and down, with that goal. i've just felt a bit flat at times, it's not been too bad each day, but it happens from time to time, and i've noticed it more last week, and this week. it's like, i want to be happy, excited, but seasonal depression is like a cloud over my mind, but i'm keeping strong, and will continue to keep on keeping on, with all of the traditions, that make halloween season so much fun, and memorable :)
This afternoon, when Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school, and Alyssa, the triplets, Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over, we began our baking friday adventure :) We prepared the brownies, and also had some nice pumpkin cream cheese cookies my mom bought for us to bake :) it was a bit wild in the kitchen today, the triplets can be a handful to keep them focused on the baking, 2 of the triplets went outside to play, and Colby kept in the kitchen with us :) Alyssa and Aj got a new puppy,and Alyssa brought the puppy over, it's an adorable puppy :) Mikey went outside a bit, and Kayla too, we were really back and forth, while baking. we decided to bake the ghost brownies, with the muffin baking pans. the marshmallows were hard to keep on the top of the brownies when we wanted to decorate them. we did our best though, but i felt un-organized, and definitely want to bake something a bit simpler next week. the triplets are still learning how to bake. :) Kayla and i are teaching them :) i do wish, that Alyssa would help out a bit too, as we could really use her help in the kitchen. it gets a bit out of hand out in the kitchen with the triplets, and needing to get things more organized. next week, i'll organize a nice easy, baking friday, pumpkin themed cookies, and we'll all decorate the cookies. :)
We love to share our baking friday adventures,and i wish i was more spirited right now, but i'm keeping as strong as i can, and i want to keep up with each day, and taking good care of myself. i've been pushing myself a bit lately, and i want to have an easy weekend, to refocus, re-balance myself, especially my thoughts, my spirit, and to really just dwelve into better healthy eating, keeping myself balanced with that. : )next week, i want to have a more organized baking friday. :) it's just one of those days today, where it's like, can't wait until a new day, it's definitely one of those days. each week, lots of family, and friends bake and cook foods, and goodies :) We love to special shoutout to them :) there's many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) next week, i'm gonna plan a really simple, and fun adventure, for us all :) it's all about the baking friday fun, no matter how the goodies come out, it's definitely all about the fun of the adventure :) next week, i will certainly have things a bit better organized, so that the adventure doesn't get too wild, and can be organized :)

Sorry to hear you feeling depressed....Try to shake it off as you have so Many Friends who Care for you.....So many new memories to make thru the seasons & Family that loves & I\'m sure needs your guidance...I can see how it can be a little overwhelming when you are the only adult supervising a young crew in kitchen.....but it appears on the faces of the young that they had fun & made some new memories.....Stand Strong my Friend...You have come A LONG Way....Push that depression out....You have to many Happy Things to do......I know you care alot about your friends but remember to care about yourself too....Take Care & Have a Fun weekend.....Much Love & Big Hugs to Family....
Hello Chris,sorry to hear that your feeling a bit depressed .((hugs))) & missing your friends. I encourage you to eat something healthy and nourishing each day,and make sure your getting enough sleep too. You have been so busy with decorating your Halloween town,getting treat packages ready to mail and keeping up with all your other activities! I received my goody bag from you today. Angel Chris - remember to pace yourself!! You\'ve been so into the halloween and fall spirit, it\'s just not possible to be functioning at 110% every day! You\'re allowed to have flat days, that\'s actually really normal. Allow yourself to ride the trough of the wave and let it bring you back up to the crest when you\'re ready for it.
