baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, spring time spirit soaring themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun!!!  :) our kitchen smells like brownies and pickles! :) we're having a baking friday party!!! :) Lots of awesome joys, and smiles being share! :) the brownies are going fast! hehe! :) we're loving the day, and the awesome spirit of the season! :) we made our first batch of pickles today, as we continue to celebrate the awesome joys of spring time :) You all are right here with us in spirit, during these times :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Kayla, the kids, and i baked brownies, and made 6 jars of sweet pickles :) it was so much fun!!! :) we're celebrating the awesome joys of spring, as we continue to get more and more into the sweet classic, and golden traditions of the season :) there's lots of great things going on, and so much more to look forward too :) the kids were so excited for us to bake goodies today :) they're all eating some brownies this evening :) Holly came upstairs, and was hanging out with us all :) the triplets were telling her what they'd love to get for their birthday in August, funko collectibles, and lots more :) we were sharing lots of smiles :) we love and cherish these special times :) an awesome fun day, baking friday, we love it!!! :)

The Spring season is shining, and the spirit of the season is all around :) We're having a wonderful time, enjoying celebrating the season with everyone :) it's amazing, to see all of the nature glowing all around :) it's a season of many wonderful festivities, and traditions :) the memorial day holiday weekend is coming up, and it's almost time to fire up the BBQ grill, for some classic and golden BBQ grilling time :) gardening season is taking shape, our nature friends are out and about :) it's feeling like, and looking like, sweet spring time :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for sharing in, and celebrating the season with us :) we love to hear about your seasonal festivities, and traditions :) it's so much fun, the great joys of the season :)

my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) this morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) i love to wish my family and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with them, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to baking goodies :) it's our favorite day and tradition :) We heard lots of happy birds singing this morning :) They sound so happy, and have been around our yard, and neighborhood, soaring around :)

It was a nice relaxing, and peaceful morning :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning nature walk :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww!  the air's been feeling warmer, especially in the mornings, and the dry weather times we've had this morning, and in recent days, has helped the soil dry up more, and is getting nice for the planting season, especially for planting seeds :) we're planning some nice weekend gardening, including planting flowers seeds in our planters, and putting our popcorn sprouts in our greenhouse :) we're so excited, for the joys of the gardening season :) it's a great time in the season, and we're so excited to blossom into the gardening season more :) we're gonna get lots of flowers growing, and we also have tomatoes, and pepper plants sprouts :) it's awesome, all of the joys of seeing lots of plants, nature, all blossoming around :) i'm amazed, by how many clusters of grapes we have growing :) it's gonna be our biggest season ever, for grapes growing :) we have tons more sunshine in that area of our yard now, and our big garden area, will be awesome for putting some tomato and pepper plants, and of course, huge tall happy smiling sunflowers :) There's so much more nature, and gardening adventures to look forward too :)

The morning was sweet spirited, as the new day was blossoming :) i gathered our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to decorate :) i love decorating it :) i used one of our new kitchen towels, and also some of our decorations, sunflower, and lighthouses :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) my sister Lisa gave me this awesome new dunkins tumbler, it's so nice :) i filled it with blueberry iced coffee this morning,and was sipping my coffee :) cheers to the awesome times of the season begin shared :) we enjoyed a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and we also had some tv shows on :) my parents went out to shop for a little while earlier, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) a very special thank you, for my mom and dad :) we appreciate them very much, and all that they do, to help make baking friday possible :) i showed my dad our grapevines earlier, he was amazed by how many grapes are growing :) he wants me to feed the vines/roots, some nice plant food, to help them grow all throughout the season :) i mentioned to my dad, that everyone enjoyed seeing his riding mower/tractor and trailer :) that made him very happy to hear :) awww! :) he says, "thanks everyone!" :) he's very proud of his tractor mower/trailer :)

Around 3pm, everyone began to arrive for baking friday :) Alyssa, Brodie, Brayden, Jacob, and Colby, and Jenn, Mikey, Hunter, Carter, and Mike came over too :) we were all gathering around :) lots of great spirit, and excitement in the air :) We were getting ready for our super fun adventure :) i bought 4 cucumbers, and had some nice sweet bread and butter pickles seasoning :) we love pickles, and each spring and summer, we love to make lots of pickles :) we couldn't wait to make some for the first time this year :) the kids were all excited, and were running around :) i got some vinegar, and the pickles seasoning heating up on the stove :) Alyssa said ,"i smell pickles!!!" :) we were all getting set, and ready to blossom into our super fun adventure :) each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, that we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my apron, and we use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) the spirit and energy was in the air :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready for our super fun adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) we first began to prepare the fudge brownies :) they're one of our favorite treats :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever" :) She loves to select the eggs :) we all got some spoons, the mixing bowl :) baking friday teamwork!!! :) the kids love to help :) they're great helpers, and are so proud to help Kayla and i :) we were adding the ingredients into the bowl, and ready to super stir :) the kids love to watch Kayla crack open the eggs :) they're gonna begin to crack open the eggs soon :) Today, Mikey, Hunter, Brayden, and Jacob were helping Kayla and i, and Colby was coming out into the kitchen too, and Alyssa brought Brodie out into the kitchen too :) we were super stirring the brownies mix, and sharing lots of smiles :) Hunter is wearing a cool dragon shirt, he was showing everyone his shirt :) my mom came out into the kitchen, and Jenn, Mike, and Carter had went out for a bit to run an errand :) i used some vegetable oil to grease the baking pan, and we poured the fudge brownies batter into the pan, and i put the brownies into the oven to bake :)

As the brownies were baking, we began to prepare the 4 cucumbers :) i washed, and sliced the cucumbers into shapes of, round pickles, and spears shaped pickles :) The kids helped put the cucumbers into the jars :) we've been saving up some nice jars, they come in very handy :) the pickles juice was cooking on the stove :) it smelled so nice, and we even tried a bit of the pickles juice :) we were all hanging out, and did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and then got ready to use a laddle to pour the pickle juice over the cucumbers in the jar :) Holly came up, and she was hanging out with us all :) my mom came into the kitchen too, this is awesome!!! :) i poured the pickle juice over the cucumbers in the jar, and put the lid on each jar :)

We made 6 jars of sweet pickles :) awesome!!! :) the brownies finished baking :) the kids couldn't wait to have some brownies :) i put the brownies into the freezer for a few minutes, it's a tip we have done over the years, with brownies, cupcakes, cake, and cookies, as it helps them cool down quicker :) i sliced the brownies, and took a picture, and the brownies then began to go very fast! hehe! :) we're all enjoying the brownies :) i also made a jar kit i got for my birthday, that is a rice krispies treats kit, with marshallows, rice krispies, and sprinkles :) We had so much fun today, baking, and cooking :)
