baking friday :) French bread pizza's, homemade Garden Salsa :)

"pizza time! pizza! pizza!"- my little nephew's Mikey, Brayden, Colby, and Jacob said that today, during baking friday! :) 

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, Summer Harvest themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) It's that time of the year, with the harvesting season beginning :) Sweet summer time, and fresh grown garden goodies ripening :) It's a very wholesome time in the season :) Today, some of our garden goodies were big ingredients in our cooking in the kitchen :) We love these awesome times, and sharing lots of smiles :) come on over, for a baking friday feast! :) 

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Colby, Jacob, Brayden, and i baked some french bread pizza's, and also cooked some homemade garden salsa :) We used tomatoes, and a jalapeno pepper from our garden :) We love sharing in, and celebrating the spirit of the summer season :) it's been a big summer, and lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) in recent weeks, i've been picking lots of tomatoes in our garden, and was so thrilled about cooking some nice salsa :) it's one of our favorite summer time/gardening season foods to cook :) we decided this morning too, to make french bread pizza's :) my mom picked up a nice loaf of bread at the store :) 

We've been looking forward to baking friday :) We hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) There's lots of very special joys this time in the season :) From garden harvesting, to the golden days of summer season :) This morning, we had a sweet new sunny day rising and shining :) i love to wish my family and friends a happy baking friday, and i shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) This morning, i gathered a nice big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my early morning nature walk :) our nature animal friends love their baking friday breakfast feast :) i put lots of goodies all around our yard, and i also checked in on our plants :) 

Our plants are doing really well :) Growing ,and flourishing :) i've been picking string beans each day now :) i think very soon, we'll bake a string beans casserole :) yum! :) our popcorn cobs are doing great, growing, and also we have lots more tomatoes growing too :) It's a sweet time in the season for the flower blossoms too :) this morning we had waves of beautiful purple and pink morning glory flowers :) it looked so nice and neat! :) summer time nature, i love it! :) 

During the mid-morning, i began to gather up our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) today i decided to decorate with a cool comics theme, as they are having a special, 3 day "terrificon" comic con event at the Mohegan Sun right down the road from us! :) i had a fun time decorating, and also began to prepare a nice lunch :) i got some corn on the cob and broccoli cooking on the stove :) i went outside to enjoy another nature walk, i tended our plants too, giving them a really good watering, and picked more string beans :) i enjoyed my lunch, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

i also prepared our tomatoes, a jalapeno pepper, and onion, i got the garden goodies cooking on the stove, simmer cooking :) it was nice, and smelled great! :) During the late afternoon, shortly after 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, i was checking in on the salsa from time to time :) Alyssa and the triplets had come over to visit, and shortly after 3pm, Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over :) we were all gathering around :) the kids were very excited about baking friday :) my niece Alyssa had bought some ice cream and cones for everyone :) It's very nice of her :) 

Kayla and i were helping all the kids get situated in the kitchen :) little Hunter was waving to us, he was so excited :) i held Hunter as we all got our picture taken together in the kitchen :) It's a cool baking friday tradition :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to begin our super fun adventure :) Each week, we love to use our nice aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our nice baking supplies we've recieved over the years from family and friends :) these awesome supplies are always a very special part of our baking, and cooking each week :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) We began to prepare the french bread pizza's :) i sliced the loaf in bread in 2, and then sliced the halfs in 2, so there were 4 halves :) Kayla helped the kids with the pizza sauce :) they love to help,. and they get so proud when they get to help :) baking friday teamwork! :) we were sharing lots of smiles :) it's a big time for the kids, and students soon :) Kayla and Taylynn are returning to school in late august, and Mikey is beginning Kindergarten in early September :) next year, the triplets go to kindergarten :) We love all of these awesome times we get to share, with our baking friday adventures :) You all are always right there with us in spirit in the kitchen :) 

After we spread the pizza sauce on the bread, we then sprinkled mozzarella cheese on the sauce and bread :) We love nice crisp french bread pizza :) i put the 4 halves of french bread pizza onto the pan, and put the pizza's into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and while the pizza's were baking, i also added a can of diced tomatoes to the salsa, to make even more salsa :) i wanted to make at least 3 jars of homemade salsa :) 

The salsa was cooking nicely, and the french bread pizza's finished baking :) Alyssa and my mom helped the kids make some ice cream cones :) they were very happy :) the salsa finished cooking :) i got the salsa set to put into 3 canning jars :) i'm so happy and excited!:) We love fresh garden salsa :) it's nice to have some from time to time :) i want to buy some baked wheat crackers at the dollar store tomorrow :) We had lots of fun baking goodies and cooking the salsa today :) i thanked Kayla and the kids for helping :) there's lots of great summer time festivities, and memories being made :) We look forward to many more super fun baking friday adventures, including our annual september fall season themed baking friday's, and our halloween themed adventures the entire month of October, for 31 days of halloween :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) Lots of cooking, and baking this week :) our friend Shirley (Squarley) baked a vanilla cake with chocolate chips! our friend Debbie (Sunsetyellow) baked an angel food cake, and made sweet bread and butter pickles! our friend Cj (ddeadred) mentioned that she's been cooking with the tomatoes from her garden! :) We love hearing about the nice foods, and goodies you all cook and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchen :) i wish we all could gather and have a baking friday picnic! :) French Bread Pizza's, and Homemade Garden Salsa, dedicated to our wonderful family and friends, and to the beautiful spirit of of summer time :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) August 19th, 2016 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :) 

We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) We're so very happy and excited, about all of the great things going on, and many special memories being made :) It's been an amazing week, and the weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) We love these golden days of summer time :) Tomorrow, we're gonna go shopping at the dollar tree store :) We love shopping there :) i'm going to buy some gifts, goodies, and treasures :) Also this weekend, Holly and i are gonna have a fun saturday night popcorn movie party, and i'm also going to enjoy some nature walks, gardening, and writing :) i look forward to sharing about our weekend adventures, in my journals :) There's lots of great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 episodes of Most Haunted show :) We love our friday night paranormal party night :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and very caring  :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)

i was busy car shopping with a friend! he got a beautiful gently used Ford suv. i will catch up with journals tomorrow morning with coffee:) love to all of you:)

Pizza & homemade salsa sounds yummy. Glad your baking day was great! I baked 4 mini loaves of zucchini bread with raisins/cranberries. Zucchini right out of the garden. Hugs! Brooke
