"it's time for football!"- my niece Kayla said that today during baking friday, and one of the triplets say, "what's that!!!" awww! :)
baking friday! :) FOOTBALL TIME!!! :) calling all cookie monsters and football fans! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :)cookie monsters and football fans unite! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) A super fun, and super spirit soaring sweet, Football themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) with the football season arriving, and a very special TRIPLE LINEUP in the kitchen today, welcoming very special guests, the Triplets! :) we had the football theme celebration in the kitchen going on, as we baked up a sweet baking friday gameplan! :) in the very near future, we'll be adding some COOL new helpers to our baking friday line-up! :) the triplets were here visiting earlier, and they were very interested in seeing what Kayla and i were doing in the kitchen, as we added the ingredients into the bowl, and stirring :) We've got bakers in the training, Colby, Brayden, and Jacob! :) Come on over, for some football goodies! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla and i baked football themed whoppie pies, and also made some awesome, gametime nachos with cheese! :) yummy!!! :) it's that time of the year, September is here, and FOOTBALL is back! :) are you ready for some football! :) We love football season, and to celebrate the arrival of the 2014 NFL season, we wanted to have a special football themed baking friday adventure :) We love the football games, getting into the spirit, of those sweet classic, and golden football s unday's, cheering, and taking in, all of the excitement :) one of the best things about football season, is the food, snacks, and drinks! :) it's a very exciting time, 32 teams, and dreams of superbowl glory! :) it's gonna be a thrilling new season, that began last night ,with the Seahawks getting a big win vs the Packers :) sunday, there's 13 more games, and 2 more games on monday night :) We're in football heaven!!! :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) i'm so very happy, and excited, that everyone enjoyed my journal, about my cool visit i had, with my best friend Chris from high school :) it was really neat, getting to visit with Chris yesterday :) many friends, have shared their stories with me, about how they have some friends they have also kept in touch with, over the years :) it's very special, and such a great gift, and blessing in life, the joys of friendship :) it's a really sweet week, with lots of wonderful things going on, and many special memories being made :) i wanted to let everyone know, that in the mail today, i recieved my new digital camera! :) with the super zoom!!! :) oh yeah!!! :)i'm so happy and excited, my new digital camera is here, and i have another one coming in the mail soon too :) i'm getting my new camera set, it's really nice. :) i'll be using my new digital camera, this weekend :) the super zoom is back! :) Woot!!! :)
This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) the golden days of summer, as the fall season approaches :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and my family and friends a happy baking friday this morning, i also shared all of your lovely happy baking friday wishes with my family :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are very nice and sweet :) it was a great morning, as i went outside early for my sunrise nature walk :) it felt cooler outside, especially during the early morning :) i was putting some peanuts, and breads around our yard, for our wonderful nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts! :) i saw some sparrows, and bluejays, as i checked in on our plants :) our plants continue to do really well : )they're flourishing ,and really continuing to thrive :) the warmer weather this week, the plants have really enjoyed it :)
Every time, when the football season rolls around ,i love to bring out my football decorations :) my Redskins collectibles, and also my football baking supplies :) it's so much fun, getting into the spirit of the new season :) i'm wearing my Redskins RG3 Jersey, and Redskins hat :) i love my Redskins, and looking forward to cheering them on, each week they have a game :) it's so much fun, cheering on our teams :) my family and i love football, and are so very happy, and excited about celebrating the new football season with everyone :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they went to the grocery store today, and picked up some baking friday supplies :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) Thank you mom and dad, so very much! : )We all love to chip in each week, to get baking friday supplies :)
Around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday decorations, and ventured out into the kitchen, to begin decorating for our super fun adventure :) our awesome football kitchen towel, football snack trays, and some of my Redskins collectibles :) it's so amazing, how football is back! :) for football fans, this is like Christmas morning, unwrapping a SUPER COOL gift, that's just like what football is to us, every sunday, every time our teams have a game, it's awesome! :) i love being a football fan :) it's a passion in my life :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i was hanging out with my mom and niece Alyssa :) Alyssa brought the triplets over to visit today :) i made a nice lunch, and after lunch, enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) during the afternoon, my new digital camera arrived with our mail, the ebay seller included a nice memory card, and also a camera case :) it's really nice of them :)
Around 2:50pm, i gathered some more of our baking supplies, and went back out into our kitchen :) i was setting up our counter area, and the triplets were curious, to see our kitchen, and were looking around :) i washed our whoppie pies baking pan, and also put some more fresh homemade salsa into 3 jars and a bowl :) i made more salsa today, we've now made, a total of about 11 jars of salsa :) very cool! :) we love having our fridges loaded with salsa, especially as the football season begins :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home shortly after 3pm, from school :) Jenn began a new job, at the place in our city, and is busy on friday's, but we believe soon, Mikey will join in on some more baking friday adventures :) Taylynn mentioned she was a bit tired, and wanted to lay down after school, so it was just Kayla and i in the kitchen today :) we hope both Taylynn and Mikey will get to join in on some baking friday's soon :) the triplets were here, and were checking in on the baking friday fun :)
Each week, we get lots of nice use, from our baking friday supplies :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more, that we've recieved from family and friends, throughout the years :) We love these special supplies, that are always a very special part of our cooking, and baking :) throughout the course of the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :) thank you everyone, for the nice texts :) Our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were all set, and ready to begin our super fun adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
Kayla and i began our super fun adventure! :) We first began, to prepare the whoopie pies :) these are really good :) The triplets came out into the kitchen, they were excited to see what we were doing, as we added the cake mix, and other ingredients into the mixing bowl :) We believe in the upcoming months, the triplets will begin to help out a bit, with some of the baking friday adventures :) i think they would really love to help us bake :) that would be awesome! :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) always a sweet baking friday tradition, Kayla selecting the eggs :) We had all of the ingredients in, we used chocolate cake mix, to make the whoppie pies :) we SUPER STIRRED the cake mix really good, and i used butter to grease the baking pans :) we put some cake mix into each spot on the whoppie pies baking pan, and i then put the cake into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)
As the whoopie pies were baking ,we then put some nice round tortilla whips into a casserole dish, and put some nacho cheese, on the tortilla chips :) i put the nachos into the oven to bake for a little while :) Kayla and i were talking about baking friday, some goodies we want to bake, in the upcoming weeks, like fall season themed treats :) the first batch of whoopie pies finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down, and i put another batch of the cakes into the oven :) we were hanging out with my mom, Alyssa and the triplets went home. :) As the whoppie pies were baking, i cleaned up the kitchen a bit :) the whoppie pies baked really nciely, they bake quickly too :) as those cooled down, my mom, Kayla and i were talking :) my mom loves when she recieves her new magazines this time of the year, as they have fall season themes on the front, and inside of the magazines, including recipes :) We have lots of fall season/halloween baking friday's to look forward too :)
The Cheese Nachos finished baking, i had a few of the nachos :) the whoopie pies cooled down :) We then used frosting, to spread onto the cakes, and made the whoopie pies sandwiches, and used vanilla frosting ,to make the football themed design, on each whoppie pie :) they came out great! :) We had lots of fun today, baking goodies :) we're so ready, for some football! :) football sunday party is on! :) Whooo! :) i thanked Kayla for helping bake :) We love our adventures and have many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking this week :) it's so much fun, and very special :) i love to share with my family, about the nice foods you all cook, and goodies you all bake :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) Football Whoppie Pies, and Cheese Nachos, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the football season : )We love you all so very very much! :)many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) September 5th, 2014 :) Happy baking friday, and happy football season everyone! :)
We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) it's been a big week, with lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made : )the month of September, is beginning nicely :) the weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) i'd love to go shopping this upcoming weekend, at the dollar store, and maybe walmart too :) it'll be so nice shopping, buying some goodies, and treasures :) i love seeing the fall/halloween items they are putting on the shelves at the dollar store :) i'd love to get a nice iced coffee this weekend too :) i'm going to tend our plants, and also harvesting some more goodies :) Sunday is football day! :) there's lots of great games on sunday :) i look forward to watching the games, and cheering on my Redskins team :) it's gonna be so nice, checking out the games :) football is back! :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone in my weekend journals :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) We love to talk, and watching paranormal shows :) We're going to watch an episode of ghost adventures, and an episode of most haunted, on the youtube site :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us : )You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNFLOWER HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a great weekend :)
