baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a flour flying, FOOTBALL flying, Super fun, Happy Football Season themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) We're ready for some football! :)woot! :) the season is beginning, and all of the great excitement, of 32 NFL teams, and dreams of a superbowl journey! :) It's gonna be awesome!!! :) We're celebrating the arrival of the football season, with a sweet, Team Flour vs Team Sugar, in the kitchen! :) We scored a TOUCHDOWN!!! as we baked up some yummy treats! :) come on over, to enjoy some baking friday goodies! :) awww! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Colby, Brayden, Jacob, and i baked some nice football themed sugar cookies :) it was lots of fun, as we begin to get ready for the first football sunday of the new NFL season :) It's a very exciting time, as the games are gonna be awesome, and the season has already began so nicely, with a cool game last night :) We're ready for some football, and we're ready to cheer! :) We turned our kitchen into a football field gridiron today! :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and having a peaceful day :) We think of you, and your family's often :) We've been looking forward to football season arriving and we love to kick-off the season, by baking some of our favorite yummy treats :) it's awesome, when a new season arrives, it's like a holiday for football fans :) i'm super pumped up and excited, to cheer on my favorite team, the Redskins, and also discussing football with family, Holly, and friends :) it's gonna be a rocking new season! :) Each game, is really big! :)
This morning, i wished my family a happy baking friday, and i love to share with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) You all are so nice, sweet, and bring us lots of joy :) We feel your loving spirits with us, on baking friday, and this very special tradition : )Thank you angel friends, for joining us each week :) To celebrate the big arrival of football season, i'm wearing my Redskins apron today :) i have 2 of these very cool aprons, that our dear, and lovely friends Knee (Kneepdeep), Fritz, Judy (Ladybug7), Denny, Picasso, and their family's sent me :) i'm all into the spirit, of the new football season :) i've been bringing out my footballs, Redskins collectibleS :) i'm pumped! :) i'm feeling better today, i took 2 tylenol, last evening, and i'm feeling so much better, and today, is the first day since monday, where my energy hasn't gotten lower, and my muscles haven't gotten achey, as the days went on. i'm so glad, and thankful to be feeling better. :) Thank you angel friends, for your comforting, and uplifting well wishes, and prayers :) You all are wonderful friends :)
i enjoyed a nice early morning nature walk, putting lots of goodies, all around our yard, for the birds and squirrels :) They get so excited, to gather goodies :) i also checked our plants :) They're doing well, and are nicely replenished, from the great rain we recieved yesterday :) it's a nature blessing :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and football decorations, and i ventured out into our kitchen, to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) i love to decorate :) i brought out some of my Redskins decorations, my mini helmet, footballs :) i'm pumped up! :) it's football time! :) my mo was hanging out in the kitchen today, she cleaned, and organized our kitchen, cupboards, and fridge :) She and i were talking, and i began to prepare a nice lunch :) i had 2 baked potatoes, and i cooked sauteed string beans :) delicious! :) i cut the string beans, i put a little vegetable or oil olive with some butterspray, into a skillet/drying pan, and i add in some black pepper, and garlic :) i cover the pan with some aluminum foil, the sauteed string beans are awesome! :)
During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) i also had a nice call with Holly : )She recieved her package i sent her on wednesday, and loves everything, especially the teriaki beef jerky i made for her :) it was a really nice afternoon, and then i got ready to go out into our kitchen for baking friday :) Alyssa and the triplets came over :) We were all hanging out, and my mom and dad arrived home from the bank, and Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school :)Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over :) We were all gathered around, and excited for the baking friday adventure :) The triplets and Mikey, love to get their chairs, and stools, all set, and Kayla is a great helper in the kitchen, she helps a lot, with the kids, and helps me keep everything very organized in the kitchen :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we have recieved from our wonderful family and friends :) aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more :) all of our nice baking friday supplies, are always a very special part of our cooking, and baking friday adventures, each day, and week :) i texted friends, throughout the course of the day, to wish everyone a happy baking friday :)
Our kitchen was all set, and we ready to get the flour flying in the air, like a football flying through the air and scoring a touchdown! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :) We began our super fun adventure! :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever!" :) She's always loved to pick out the eggs :) The triplets, and Mikey were on their chairs, and stools :) Baking friday teamwork!!! :) We began to prepare the sugar cookies :) We all chipped in, adding in the flour, sugar, butter, and the egg :) The kids get so proud, when they get to add in the ingredients :) We began to super stir! :) the triplets also helped me, use some nice butter spray, to grease the baking pan :) We were sharing some smiles, while baking goodies :) Kayla and i are very proud of the kids, they are learning a lot, about baking, and they love to help :)
We all then took turns, shaping the cookies into a football shape :) We love sugar cookies, and we always add in extra butter, to the recipe, because we love buttery sugar cookies :) Once we shaped the cookies into the football shapes, i put the cookies onto the baking pan, and i then put the cookies into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) my mom, Alyssa, Jenn, and baby Hunter came out into the kitchen, a few times :) baby Hunter is growing a lot, he will be turning 1, next february, and will be so happy to join us for some baking friday adventures sometime, once he's old enough to help us bake :) Mikey began to help us bake, when he was 1 and a half years old :)
The cookies were baking nicely, we cleaned up the kitchen. :) The sugar cookies baked very nicely. :) we love those cookies :) We're cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) The cookies cooled down, and it was then time to decorate! :) We love to decorate, and are excited to teach the kids, how to decorate :) Today, we used cool whip topping, and reddi-whip chocolate topping, to decorate the football cookies :) the cookies came out great! :) TOUCHDOWN!!! :) Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter took home a cookie to enjoy :) We made some HUGE football cookies :) i thanked Kayla, Mikey, and the triplets for helping bake :) i also thanked my mom and niece Alyssa :) They went to the store yesterday evening and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) We had a really nice time, baking ,and are looking forward to lots more baking : )Fall season, and in Octber, Halloween themed baking friday adventures :) There's many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, to all our family and family of friends, lots of cooking, and baking this week :) We love hearing about the nice foods, meals, and goodies you all cook and bake :) we're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i wish we all could gather, to have a baking friday picnic :) awww! :) Football themed cookies, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the new football season : )We love you all so very very much! :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) many great memoris being made, to always cherish, and treasure :) September 11th, 2015 :) Happy baking friday, and Happy football season everyone! :)
We're enjoying a nice day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) we took today today, to reflect, and remember, September 11th, 2001, remembering in loving memory, all of the brave men, women, and innocent lives lost, on that awful day. we will always remember them,and their family's, in our thoughts, prayers, and in our hearts. *big group comforting hug*  i'm so thankful, i've been feeling well today, and as the day has gone on, i've felt well too :) it's a blessing :) those 2 tylenol i took last evening, really helped me :) i'm excited for tonight, and the weekend :) We're gonna go shopping tomorrow, at the dollar store :) i'm going to look at the halloween items, and going to buy some gifts, goodies, and treasures :) on sunday, we're going to visit my brother Charlie and Barbara :) We're going to bring some birthday gifts to Charlie :) We'll also be watching football on sunday :) It's gonna be a super weekend, with lots of excitement, and spirited joy :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone :) it's gonna be so nice :) There's many great things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch a new episode of Ghost Adventures, and Most Haunted :) We love our paranormal shows, party night :) We really get into the shows :) i may get a nice, sandwich at mcdonalds this evening too :) Thank you angel friends, for all of your wonderfully comforting, and uplifting well wishes, hugs, and for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)
