We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Jacob, Brayden, Colby, and i had a fun time ,baking cupcakes, and cinnamon rolls :) We were teaching the triplets how to make the cinnamon rolls for the first time :) Mikey was showing them how to roll the cinnamon rolls :) it was awesome fun! :) the kids are so happy and excited, to help out in the kitchen :) You all are always right there with us in spirit :) This is so much fun, and a great joy :) We're gearing up to celebrate my mom's and dad's 51st wedding anniversary :) It's gonna be very special, you all will be with us in spirit as we celebrate :) It's gonna be so much fun :) we love these awesome times, and all of tge great memories being made, to always cherish and treasure :)
This morning, we had a nice new day, rising and shining :) the month of January is in full swing, and we've been looking forward to celebrating my mom's and dad's anniversary :) This morning, i wished my family a happy baking friday, and shared your lovely happy baking friday wishes with them :)You all are so nice, sweet, and wonderful friends :) We've been looking forward to baking some goodies :) one of our favorites, are cupcakes, and another favorite, is cinnamon rolls :) i thought it would be awesome to bake these nice treats, for my mom and dad, as a special anniversary gift for them :)
i began my day with a nice nature walk :) it was a bit more mild outside today, i brought out lots of goodies for our nature animal friends :) They always love and enjoy their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i was gathering up some special decorations, sunflowers theme, and went out inside our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen :) It's part of the great baking friday fun :) It's so nice, the joys of decorating, and all of the excitement blossoming up, for a great adventure on friday afternoon's :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) i got some nice cabbage soup cooking on the stove, and i went outside for another nature walk during mid-day :) it was nice, getting some fresh air, and seeing some birds visiting our yard :) i put some cornbread, and muffins outside for them to enjoy. :) During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :) around 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen :)
Alyssa and the triplets came over after 2pm, the kids were getting excited to bake goodies :) Kayla and Taylynn weren't feeing 100% today, and stayed home from school. We weren't sure, if Kayla was gonna be able to help us bake, but she said she was feeling better than this morning, and wanted to help :) Jenn texted my mom, and mentioned they were running a little late, and that we could begin and they'd be arriving shortly before 4pm :) we told them we had plenty for Mikey to help out with :) Each week, we enjoy using our nice baking friday supplies :) we get lots of great use, from these special supplies :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, and lots more, these special supplies are always a great part of our cooking, and baking each day, and week :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) earlier today, they went out to shop, and picked up baking friday supplies :) It's very nice, and sweet of them :) throughout the course of the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :) we were all set, and ready to begin baking goodies :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began, by preparing the cupcakes :) we used vanilla cake mix :) i said, to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) She's always loved to select the eggs over the years :) We had a big mixing bowl, and adding in the ingredients :) the triplets love to learn and help to bake :) They've been baking with us for a while now, and we love teaching them all about baking, and Mikey teaches them too :) we taught them how to add cake mix to the baking cups :) they were doing so well :) Kayla and i were giving them encouragement as they helped :) baking friday teamwork! :) i put the cupcakes into the oven to bake :)
Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter came over :) We welcomed them in, and we were all gathering around :) Mikey was so excited, as he was gonna help us prepare the cinnamon rolls :) earlier today, i made a nice batch of cinnamon rolls dough, and it was so nice, as it was rising up, throughout the day :) the dough was getting large, i put it in the fridge :) We all got our picture taken in the kitchen :) We put some flour on the counter, and then began to roll the cinnamon roll dough, with the huge dough roller :) The kids were all taking some turns, rolling the dough :) Mikey was showing the triplets. :) it was awesome! :) Kayla and i are very proud of the kids, and how well they do, and all that they have learned from our baking friday adventures :) baking friday teamwork! :)
After we rolled the cinnamon roll dough, i then put a stick of butter into a bowl, with some brown sugar, and cinnamon :) i heated it up in the microwave for about 35 seconds, and stirred it :) Mikey then showed the triplets, how to spread the cinnamon/sugar/butter onto the dough :) it was a big sheet of dough on our counter :) i then used butterknife, to slice the dough, and we all took turns, rolling the cinnamon rolls :) it was awesome! :) i used some buttery spray to spray the baking pans :) The cupcakes finished baking nicely, i brought the cupcakes out of the oven to cool down :)
The cinnamon rolls began to bake :) It's a really fun and easy recipe too :) we'll definitely bake some more cinnamon rolls this year :) i made some green colored frosting, for decorating the tops of some of the cupcakes :) Kayla and i spread white frosting onto the cupcakes, and then used green frosting, to write, MOM DAD 51 :) 51st anniversary :) super! :) the cupcakes came out great! :) my mom and dad love them! :) the cinnamon rolls baked nicely, we have 9 cinnamon rolls :) those are so delicious! :) i thanked the kids for helping bake :) We're loving our baking friday adventures, and have many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) It's so much fun :) a very special shoutout, to family and friends :) lots of cooking, and baking this week :) We love hearing about the nice goodies, and foods you all cook, and bake throughout the days, and weeks :) It's aweosme!: )we're with eachother in spirit, during our adventures :) Anniversary Cupcakes, and Cinnamon Rolls, dedicated to our wonderful mom and dad, family, friends, and to the spirit of the month of January :) we love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) January 15th, 2016 :) Happy baking friday, and Happy 51st Anniversary Mom and Dad! :) we love you! :)
