baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying, awesome happy March themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) with a very special guest! :) Hunter joined us in the kitchen today! :) he was the official brownies taste tester! :) hehe! :) he was so excited, and he was eyeing that huge plate full of brownies! :) awww! :) the kids are all so excited! :) they bringing home a nice plate of goodies :) We had so much fun, and we're spirit soaring into this beautiful new month of March, and we already also planning our annual Shamrocks themed baking friday adventure for next week too! :) Lots of sweet times, and joyful memories being made :) come on over, for some baking friday treats! :)

It's such a sweet, joyful, and fun time of the year, the month of March is blossoming, and there's lots of great things going on :) We love blossoming into the countdown to March, and today, we celebrated our first baking friday adventure of the month :) We're so excited, spring is near, and we got lots of awesome things planned to celebrate this month :) we do have some light snow flurries in our area today, that have made it a perfect day to bake some goodies, but we're still thinking of the awesome spring time to look forward to celebrating, with flowers, warm weather, and lots of spirited joy all throughout the blossoming of the new season :)
This morning, we were all gathering around, wishing eachother a good morning ,and i wished my family and friends, a happy baking friday, and i shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) i enjoyed a nice nature walk this morning :) i'm feeling much better, my cough has eased, my energy and strength feels great, i got a really good night of rest :) i'm so glad, and thankful to be feeling better :) i put lots of goodies outside for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) It was a sweet morning :)
i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin to set up, and decorate our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) i decorated with a birds/flowers theme today :) our kitchen looked great! :) i texted friends throughout the course of the day to wish them a happy baking friday, and i also cooked a nice lunch :) cabbage soup with some baked tortilla's :) lunch was delicious! :) i enjoying some nice hot teas with peppermint today too :) cheers! :) during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends, i also prepared some bagels dough shortly before 2pm ,as i wanted the dough to have plenty of time to rise up :) i added cinnamon, and raisins to the dough :) we love bagels, and it's such a sweet, simple recipe too :)
shortly after 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) i was so excited, about our baking friday adventure :) We have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they went shopping earlier today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies :) today, i wore my new apron that our dear friend Betty (Konacutter) sewed for me, and we also use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all our baking supplies we have recieved over the years :) You all are always right there with us in spirit, during our baking friday adventures :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school after 3pm, and my niece Alyssa, and the triplets came over, and also Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over :) We were all gathering around, and so excited to bake goodies :) We were set and ready! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) It's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began to prepare the nice bagels :) i pulled the rised bagel dough into 6 pieces, and we rolled the dough, and then shaped it like a bagel :) i got some water boiling on the stove, and used a spatual spoon with a strainer to put 3 bagels into the boiling water. :) the bagels got even bigger, after they boiled in the water for a few minutes :) Kayla and i were teaching the kids, about making the bagels :) They've been learning a lot, about baking :) i put the cinnamon raisin bagels onto the baking pan, and put the bagels into the oven to bake :)
We then began to prepare the brownies :) Hunter came out into the kitchen with my sister Jenn :) he loves seeing what everyone is doing, he's gonna be a great baker someday :) we were preparing the brownies :) Mikey, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden, love to add in the ingredients, and super stirring! :) they get so proud when they get to help :) Kayla helped the kids put the brownies into the baking pan, and i checked in on the bagels :) i also put the brownies into the oven to bake :) Mikey and one of the triplets wanted to bake cookies, so we got some flour flying in the air in the kitchen, preparing a batch of sugar cookies :) we gave each of the kids a portion of cookie dough ,so they could each make their own shaped cookies :) their imaginations were running wild, they were making all kinds of shapes of cookies, and then making more, and using the same cookie dough! hehe! :) we were all watching them make the shapes, they were having so much fun! :)
The bagels and brownies finished baking, i brought the goodies out of the oven :) once the brownies cooled down a bit, i sliced the brownies, and i brought the plate into the living room, and Jenn took a brownie for Hunter :) he was trying the brownie, he loves it! :) he then looked at the whole plate full of brownies, as if he was thinking to himself, "i'll take that whole plate home!" hehe! :) so adorable! :) we gave them a nice plate full of brownies, and a bagel to bring home :) we had so much fun today, baking goodies :) we cleaned the counter, and kitchen, and i thanked everyone for helping :)

Hi Chris I am so glad that you had such a great time today in the kitchen. Everything looks so good, especially your soup. I love cabbage soup and I never thought to use sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes in it. I will have to try that next time I make it. I am making ham and bean soup tomorrow. I am really hungry for it. We are taking the dogs to get them groomed tomorrow so that means I get to eat lunch out. Not sure where we are going to eat yet but I am sure we will find someplace. I\'m nervous to try cabbage soup. This might be why I\'m so unhealthy. I do love soup though like canned chicken noodle :)
