"Chocolate pops, and Cookies!"- my little nephews Mikey, Brayden, Colby, and Jacon said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters and Santa claus! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters and Santa claus! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters and Santa claus unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, Christmas time, spirit soaring, and flying flying like Santa's Reindeer, Christmas themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun!!! :) We're celebrating a sweet classic, and golden time in the holiday season :) it's Christmas time, and the spirit is in the air! :) the kids all went home with some chocolate pops, cookies! :) they're so happy and excited! :) Santa Claus is coming to town! :) twas a week until Christmas holiday! :) awww! :) this is so much fun! :) come on over, for some yummy baking friday goodies! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Colby, Jacob, Brayden, and i had a super fun time, baking Christmas cookies, sugar cookies, snicker doddle cookies, and made Santa claus themed chocolate pops :) it's that wonderful time of the year, the Christmas time, holidays, it's so much fun ,and a very special joy, getting to celebrate with eachother :) i've been thinking of you all :) it's so nice, all of the festivities, and traditions that brings very special memories :) we love holiday baking, and it's so much fun, getting the flour flying in the air in the kitchen :) We've been looking forward to our super fun adventure :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a wonderful day :) This morning, we had a sweet new december day rising and shining :) We love all of the joys, of Christmas time baking :) It's a magical time too, with the christmas spirit, and getting the kitchen cozy warm, bringing out the christmas cookbooks, and baking some goodies :) my family and i are having a wonderfully special time, celebrating the holidays with you all, our dear friends :) We feel your loving spirits with us, and we're with you all in spirit :) i shared your wonderful happy baking friday wishes with my family this morning, and wished my family a happy baking friday :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) Thank you angel friends :)i came up with a cool idea, to make some chocolate pops for the kids :) i knew the kids would love those! :) we have lots of nice candy chocolate molds, with different themes, that our dear friends Claudia, Mike, and their family sent us about 5 years ago :) We love these nice chocolate/candy molds, and we use them from time to time : ) it's so neat! :)
i began my day with a nice nature walk, putting goodies all around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and Christmas decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin decorating for our super fun adventure :) i love decorating, and we love our nice baking friday supplies we have recieved over the years :) our nice aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, cookie cutters, sprinkles, and lots more :) These special supplies are always a fun part of our cooking, and baking each week :) my mom was looking at the kitchen decorations, she said it looks so nice :) awww! :) i love to decorate :) a very special shoutout, and thank you for my mom and dad :) they went shopping today, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's very nice, and sweet of them :) i cooked a nice lunch, some onion potatoes, and some baked sweet potatoes, with cheese :) lunch was delicious! :) during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :)
Around 3pm, Alyssa, the triplets came over, and Kayla and Taylynn were coming home from school :) Jenn, Mikey, and baby Hunter were on their way, and came over :) we were all very excited :) we were gearing up for our super fun adventure :) There's always lots of great excitement in the air, as we all gather around :) i texted friends today, to wish them a happy baking friday :) Our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were all set, and ready to get the flour flying in the air in the kitchen :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) the kids love to help! :) baking friday teamwork! :) we first began to prepare the snicker doddle cookies :) it's a nice simple recipe :) it's sugar cookie recipe, but with some cream of tartar added to the recipe :) the kids love to help add the ingredients into the bowl :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever!" :) She loves to select the eggs :) We were sharing lots of smiles, as we got all of the ingredients into the bowl :) The kids all love to pick out their spoons to use :) we began to super stir! :) i was talking with the kids, and i said, "is that Santa i hear on the roof-top!" awww! :) the kids eyes got real big! :) they're all very excited for Christmas! :)
i used some butter, to grease the baking pans :) i also got a nice bowl of sugar mixed with cinnamon, for us to dunk the snicker doddle cookies into :) we were having a super fun time. :) i put the snicker doddle cookies into the oven to bake, and we then began to get ready to make the chocolate pops :) my mom and dad bought some nice dark chocolate chips for us :) we had some, and poured the rest into a bowl :) i put the chocolate chips into the microwave for about a minute, and stirred the chocolate :) the kids all gathered around the santa claus themed chocolate molds, and i poured some chocolate into the molds, and then Kayla added in the popsicle stick, and i put the pops into the fridge to chill :) the kids all wanted to have some chocolate pops :)
While the chocolate pops were chilling in the fridge, i brought the snicker doddle cookies out of the oven :) they baked really nicely :) they've become one of our favorite cookies :) earlier, i had prepared some nice sugar cookie dough, for the kids, to add green food coloring too :) Mikey added in the food coloring, and i stirred the dough, and then Kayla and i spread flour onto the counter, and got all of the cookie cutters :) The kids all selected their cookie cutter, and got some cookie dough ,and began to make the Christmas shaped cookies :) we were having lots of fun :) my mom, Jenn, and Alyssa came out into the kitchen to see all of the goodies we were making :) this was awesome! :) baking friday! :) We love it! :)
we used 2 baking pans, for the christmas cookies :) they kids made lots of awesome Christmas shaped cookies :) i put the goodies into the oven to bake! :) as the cookies were baking, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) the kids love to help : )they use the sponges, and sink scrubber, they were doing great! :) i swept the floor, we had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen today, like snowflakes flying in the december sky! :) i checked the chocolate pops, the 1st three pops, had chilled, and i then put 2 more chocolate pops into the fridge to chill :) once the sugar cookies finished baking, i brought the cookies out of the oven to cool down :) the 4th and 5th chocolate pop finished chilling :) i set up our cool christmas season's greetings towel, and i took some pictures of the treats, including the chocolate pops :)
We had so much fun baking Christmas cookies, and making chocolate pops :) i thanked Kayla and the kids for helping :) The kids were enjoying some chocolate pops, and also brought home some christmas cookies too :) We love holiday baking, and i know we'll be doing some baking next week :) next friday is Christmas :) sometime during the day next week, we'll definitely bake some treats, whether it's a few cookies, or our Christmas dinner :) There's many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout to family and friends :) Lots of holiday cooking, and baking :) This is awesome! :) thank you all for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) this is so much fun, and very special :) We're with eachother in spirit. :) i wish we all could gather and have a baking friday picnic :) Christmas Cookies, and Chocolate Pops, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the beautiful spirit of the holiday season :) we love you all so very very much! :) many great memories being made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) December 18th, 2015 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a sweet, spirit soaring day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) The holiday season, is in full swing : )We're so happy, excited, and thrilled to celebrate with everyone :) Twas a week until Christmas holiday! :) the weekend is arriving with lots of festive spirit :) We're so happy! :) Tomorrow, we're going Christmas shopping, at the dollar store, and walmart :) it's gonna be so nice, doing some Christmas shopping, and finishing up some great shopping for the season :) i'll be buying some nice gifts, and gift bags :) on sunday, we're gonna watch football, and during the early evening will be going to Mikey's Christmas cookies party :) it's gonna be an awesome weekend! :) i look forward to sharing all about our weekend, and adventures, in my weekend journals :) There's many more wonderful things to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 awesome episodes of most haunted show, on youtube :) We love our friday night, paranormal party night :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :)we deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP HAPPY CHRISTMAS TIME HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)
