baking friday :) Chocolate Cupcakes, and Homemade Pickles :)

"We're making pickles, and cupcakes!"- my little nephew Mikey said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, awesome happy March themed bakng friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) We shared smiles, laughs, and made some awesome treats, including 9 jars of fresh homemade pickles! :) a Super COOL shoutout to my dear and lovely mom and dad for finding the pickle seasoning at the store today :) our entire kitchen smells like pickles! hehe! :) 6 jars of sweet pickles (my favorite), and 3 jars of dill pickles for my niece Alyssa :) it was a baking friday party in the kitchen, and the sprinkles flying onto those cupcakes! :) Come on over, to enjoy some yummy baking friday treats! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, and i baked chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles, and made homemade pickles :) i've been craving some nice sweet pickles, and have been wanting to make some homemade ones. :) going into the day today, i didn't know if we'd be able to make the pickles, but my SUPER mom and dad, found the pickle seasoning, and i was so thrilled, and also picked up 6 cucumbers, which was enough to make a total of 9 jars! :) WOW!!! We're in Pickles heaven! :) hehe! :) oh that sweet pickle juice came out so good! :) i can't wait to have some of those pickles tomorrow :) they're in the fridge right now :)
my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day :) the sun is shining wonderfully today, and the sky is sweet March blue! :) i love it!!! :)This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and my family a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you all so very much! :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) There's lots of great excitement in the air, as the month of March is beginning awesomely! :) we decided today, to bake the chocolate cupcakes, and i was also hopeful we'd get to make the homemade pickles :)
Early this morning, i enjoyed an awesome nature walk, i bundled up, as it was only 1 degree windchill this morning. brrrrr!!! i put some goodies outside, for our nature animal friends, and saw the sunrise sunshine glowing upon the glistening shining snowfall we recieved yesterday. Nature is amazing, in how it shines :) i saw some happy birds this morning, gathering goodies in our yard :) Later on during the day, i enjoyed even a longer nature walk :) around mid-morning, i gathered baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) i used our awesome new decorative kitchen towels, that our dear, and lovely friends Maria (Love4You), Lionel, and their family sent us :) i love decorating our kitchen, it looked so nice! :) i love seeing our kitchen decorated, and enjoying the warmth of the kitchen :) my mom re-heated the nice roast with potatoes and carrots she had cooked in the slow cooker yesterday :) i had some of the nice meal and some corn with old bay seasoning for lunch :) good, wholesome, and delicious :) around mid-day, i went outside for another nature walk, i walked around the snow paths in our backyard, for a good 30 minutes :) it was awesome ,lots of birds around, i brought more goodies outside, plus the walking is great exercise :)
During the afternoon, my mom called me, and mentioned walmart had the pickle seasoning :) SWEET!!! :) YEAH!!! :) whooo! :) She mentioned she got the sweet pickle seasoning, and also the dill pickle seasoning, as my niece Alyssa wanted me to make dill pickles for her :) awesome! :) i enjoyed some time here on ds, writing to friends :) around 2:45pm, i went back out into our kitchen :) i got our stove and oven ready, i washed/cut cucumbers, into nice slices, and i also got the canning jars all set, and ready :) the kids were gonna be arriving home soon :) plus Jenn and Mikey were on their way :) i got the sweet pickle seasoning with water/vinegar, and sugar heating up on the stove in a nice cooking pot :) our kitchen was beginning to smell like pickles! :) i love it! :)
Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school shortly after 3pm, and Jenn and Mikey arrived around 3:25pm :) We were all hanging out, gathering around :) gearing up to bake! :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, to cook and bake, lots of yummy treats :) we love our baking and cooking supplies :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more supplies. :) We're so happy, thankful, and blessed, to have the baking friday tradition in our lives :) during the course of the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :) our kitchen was all set, and we were all set, and ready for our super fun adventure! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our fun adventure :) We put the nice sliced cucumbers into the canning jars :)i added some minced garlic, and some old bay seasoning into 2 of the jars, to make spicy/and sweet pickles :) the sweet pickle seasoning had began to boil :) i used a nice laddle, to pour the pickle juice into the jars, and sealed the jars nicely :) i made a total of 6 jars of sweet pickles :) oh wow! i tried the pickle juice when it cooled down, it's so good! :) delicious! :) i got the dill pickle seasoning heating up on the stove too :) While that was heating up on the stove, Kayla, Mikey, and i began to prepare the cupcakes :) We used vanilla cake mix :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best 2 eggs ever!" :) awww! :) Mikey was very happy, as he loves to help crack open the eggs :) We added the cake mix into the bowl, and some water/vegetable oil, and the 2 eggs :)
We SUPER stirred the cake mix nicely :) we had some baking cups, and the baking pan :) i was mentioning to Kayla and Mikey, that many friends are baking goodies today, and this week :) i mentioned our dear and lovely friend Heather (Retiredheather) and how she baked bread, ravioli's, and calzones :) we love hearing about all of the nice goodies you all cook and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) this is awesome fun, and so very special :) we put the bakig cups into the cupcakes baking pans, we had about 11 cupcakes :) SWEET!!! :) i put the cupcakes into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) as the cupcakes were baking, the dill pickle juice had began to boil :) i poured the pickle juice into the 3 other jars of cucumbers :) my niece Alyssa is so happy! :) She loves dill pickles :) We have a total of 9 jars of pickles we made :) i love pickles, especially sweet ones, i love to have them for snack, or putting them in salads, or on sandwiches :) mmm mmm! :) Delicious! :)
We took a break while the cupcakes finished baking, we did some cleaning in the kitchen :) The cupcakes finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) We had some nice chocolate frosting, to ice the cupcakes :) We love chocolate cupcakes, and wanted to surprise Jenn, by giving her 2 cupcakes, as a special pre-birthday treat :) her birthday is on sunday, March 8th :) when the cupcakes finished cooling, we spread chocolate frosting on the cupcakes, and put sprinkles on them :) the cupcakes came out great! :) We had so much fun, baking goodies :) We gave some cupcakes to Jenn and Mikey to bring home :) i thanked Kayla and Mikey for helping bake goodies, and making the pickles :) i can't wait, to try the pickles tomorrow :) i put the pickles into the fridge. :) When Alyssa comes over tomorrow, she'll be able to pick up the pickles :) She has 3 jars to bring home :)

We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) we're so happy, and excited, about all of the very special memories being made :) The weekend is arriving with lots of spirit :) Tomorrow, we're gonna go shopping :) i'd love to go to the dollar store, and walmart :) i want to buy some gifts, for my sister Jenn, Grandma, and friends, who have birthday's coming up :) on sunday, it's Jenn's 30th birthday :) We're gonna go over to Jenn's home, for a birthday celebration for her :) i'll get to meet baby Hunter for the first time :) it's gonna be an awesome weekend :) i look forward to sharing all about our weekend adventures, and sharing pictures, in my weekend journals :) it's been a great week, and there's lots more to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call Holly :) We love to talk, and watching "Most Haunted" show, on the youtube site :) we call it, our friday night paranormal shows party night :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are so nice, sweet, and very special friends :) We deeply appreciate your kindness, and generousity, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM SUNSHINE SUNFLOWER HUGS :) we hope everyone enjoys a great weekend :)

Preparing the Sweet Pickles! :) my mom and dad picked up 6 nice cucumbers at the store :) i've been craving sweet pickles :) i've been wanting to make some :) i am so happy, and thrilled they had the sweet pickels seasoning at the walmart store :) i sliced the cucumbers, and got the canning jars ready :) we put the cucumber slices into the canning jars, added a little garlic in some :)
on the stove, i got a nice cooking pot, filled with water/vinegar, and added in the sweet pickles seasoning :) It's Mrs. Wages brand. :) i love sweet pickles, my favorite! :) They're great for snack time, or with salads :) once the pickle juice brought to a boil, i used a laddle to put the pickle juice in the jars :) i then sealed the jars with the lids :)
