baking friday! :) calling all cookei monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and sweet, summer vacation has arrived, themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) We love summer time, and today, we're celebrating along with Kayla graduating from the 8th grade, Taylynn graduating from the 3rd grade, and the summer vacation season beginning for them :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) Congrats to Kayla and Taylynn for completing the school year :) They're ready for an awesome summer, and we're ready for a summer of super fun baking friday adventures! :) come on over, to enjoy some nice baked goodies :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, Colby, Jacob, Brayden, and i baked chocolate chip cookie bars, and cornbread mufins :) it's a super spirited, and exciting time of the year, as the summer season is beginning to arrive :) school's out for summer vacation now, and lots of great joys of the traditions, and excitement that makes the summer season, an awesome one :) this time of the year brings back lots of special memories for me, of when i was younger, and when summer vacation began :) it was a time of being able to run around bare foot, and playing outside for most of the day, and soaking up the summer time spirit :) It's a season that will bring many more wonderful memories, to always cherish and treasure :)
This morning, we had a sweet new sunny morning, rising and shining :) i wished my family and friends a happy baking friday, and i shared your lovely happy baking friday wishes with them :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) We love this beautiful sunny weather, and it's began to stay light outside, until after 8pm now :) it's so nice, and a special joy :) the extra daylight is awesome! :) This morning, i gathered a nice big bowl of goodies, and began my day with a nice nature walk :) putting treats all around our yard, for our nature animal friends, and checking in on our plants :) our nature animal friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) our plants, and garden are doing really well, and flourishing with the season :) It's awesome to see how much the plants are growing :)
today, i decorated our kitchen ,with a very special, treasures theme :) i displayed some of our lovely gifts, and treasures my family and i have recently recieved :) i'm so happy and excited! :) i love decorating our kitchen, it's one of my favorite traditions :) our kitchen looked beautiful, all set up and decorated :) Today, we had some baking friday supplies from our cupboards to use :) i prepared a nice lunch, and then enjoyed some phone calls, and some time here on ds this afternoon, writing to friends :) Alyssa and the triplets came over after 3pm :) the kids got some cool new toys they love :) awww! :) very cool! :)
Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved over the years, from family and friends :) we love our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, cookbooks, and lots more :) our baking friday supplies are always a very special part of our baking ,and cooking each day, and week :) Shortly after 3pm, Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over :) We were all gathering around, and very excited to bake goodies :) The kids all love to put their own seats out in the kitchen to stand on, around the counter :) we were getting ready to bake some nice goodies :) earlier i had gotten some nice cornbread muffins baking in the oven :) i've been in the mood for some cornbread muffins :)
Our kitchen was all set and ready, and we were all ready and excited for our super fun adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :) We began our super fun adventure :) We began to prepare the chocolate chip cookies :) We had some nice cookies mix :) the kids love to help bake, it's cool baking friday teamwork :) the kids were all excited to help add in the ingredients, and super stirring! :) they each get their own spoon to stir the cookie mix :) We love teaching the kids about baking, they're learning a lot, and very soon, will be able to learn more about decorating cookies, cupcakes, and cakes too :)
We're so proud of the kids, and we love all of the baking friday fun :) We love sharing smiles, and all of the special memories being made :) We decided to make chocolate chip cookie bars :) i used vegetable oil to grease the pan :) we then poured the cookie mix into the pan, and i put the cookie bars into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) We love that nice scent of chocolate chip cookies baking :) We're cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and talking about baking friday :)
