"We love cookies! it's a cookies party!"- my nephew's Hunter, Mikey, Jacob, Colby, and Brayden said that today, during baking friday! :) a wild fun baking friday adventure!!! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying, and sharing lots of smiles, summer time themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun!!! :) Sharing lots of smiles, baking friday cheer, as we baked up some awesome goodies today! :) We had a wild fun time, and are so happy Holly joined in on the baking friday fun! :)we had the kids laughing, sharing lots of funny cool jokes, and even had the kids trying to see if they could fill a styrofoam cup with water, with a hole in the bottom of the cup! hehe! :) tons of pictures to share, awesome baking friday fun today! :) Come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Holly, the kids, and i baked some chocolate chip cookie bars, and onion and garlic butter pretzels :) it was so much fun, and lots of spirited cheer :) From the first cup of flour, to trying to fill styrofoam cups with a hole in the bottom of the cup, it was a wild, super fun baking friday adventure! :) We're so happy and excited, for these special times :) We're loving our summer of fun baking friday adventures :)

Blossoming into the golden days of Summer Time! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a great day! :) We're so happy and excited, for all of the summer time joys, festivities, and traditions being shared :) it's a very exciting time in the season :) The gardening season is in full swing, lots of flowers blossoming, fruits and vegetables growing :) We're getting ready for the kids upcoming birthday's, and lots more summer time festivities, as the season continues to shine :) We're so happy, to be enjoying a season of super fun baking friday adventures :) We love this very special tradition, and all of the joy, and excitement it brings us :) Thank you everyone ,for sharing in these awesome spirited times of the season with us :) We love counting down to our super fun baking friday adventures :) We've been baking, cooking, grilling, lots of goodies this summer season :) sharing lots of smiles, and great memories being made :) We're so happy, thankful, and blessed to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in these special times with you and your family's :)

This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) Our favorite day of the week, and tradition, baking friday! :) A very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my family, Holly, and friends, a happy baking friday, and i shared with my family and Holly, your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We love blossoming into friday's, and the weekend's :) We have some family's and friend's birthday's coming up, the summer season is in full swing :) There's lots to enjoy during summer time :) one of our favorite joys this season, is our gardening ,baking, and all of the times we get to share with you all, our dear family of friends, all around the world :)

As the new day was blossoming, i was up early, getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) it's been a very active nature week, with all that went on, with the tropical storm, and many thousands in our state, without power. we're thinking of everyone, and hoping all power is restored soon, and that each home ,building that was damaged, is fully repaired. my brother Bobby and family are still without power, they are staying at Stacy's mom's house, which has power, and their power is gonna be restored on saturday. my mom's been talking with Bobby and Stacy and the kids, their doing well, and looking forward to coming to visit soon :) it was a very wild storm, and knocked down lots of trees, branches all around our state. our thoughts, and prayers are with everyone, in need of home, building repairs, and power restoration. we hope everything will be ok, and back up and running well again very soon.

i love going out for my early morning nature walks :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside :) we've got some rain in our forecast, it's replenishing for the plants and nature :) i put lots of goodies in the bird sanctuary, for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :)awww! :) i've been seeing lots of birds, Holly and i saw a hummingbird yesterday, we want to make nectar food for the hummingbirds, and it was so neat too, seeing butterflies visiting our yard, and garden, including the one that landed on our flowers, and sunflower :) We love those nature moments :) i checked in on our plants this morning :) they're doing well, and have pepped up :) we have 1 sunflower that is still a bit droopy, since the tropical storm, but is recovering, and will be fully pepped up again soon :) we're hoping for some weekend sunshine :) Holly and i are going to feed our plants, some plant food :) these are some of the best gardening days of the season :) lots of flowers growing, blossoming, and fruits and vegetables growing :) we love our plants, and are looking forward to many more nature, and gardening adventures, all throughout the season :)

It was a nice peaceful morning :) we enjoyed breakfast, i made a blueberry iced coffee :) cheers! to family, friends, good health, peaceful nature, garden joys, and to the spirit of the season :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) today, i blossomed with a classic summer time theme, with our lovely cards, and some of our treasures :) our kitchen looked awesome! :) it's part of the baking friday fun, decorating our kitchen :) Holly and i checked in on our plants, and prepared a nice lunch around late morning :) during the early afternoon, i made some pretzel dough, so that the dough could rise, and i also enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

Around 3pm, Alyssa, Jenn, and the kids came over :) Jenn went with Mike to run some errands, and Alyssa was busy talking with my mom today. Holly mentioned she'd love to help out with the baking friday adventure :) we were gathering in our kitchen, getting ready to bake goodies :)the pretzel dough i made earlier, came out great, and had rised nicely :) Hunter and i got our picture taken in the kitchen today :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) as the adventure went on today, more and more kids joined in on the bakign friday fun :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron that Holly gave me, and we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies :) These supplies are a big part of our baking and cooking each week :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to get the flour flying, baking up some awesome treats :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began to bake the chocolate chip cookie bars :) They're one of our favorite treats :) Hunter was helping Holly and i bake :) the kids are great helpers, we're so proud of them, and all of the baking they are learning throughout the months, and years :) They get so proud, adding the ingredients, cracking open the eggs, and super stirring :) Hunter does the super stir! :) he uses 2 spoons, to super stir the cookie mix :) we were sharing lots of smiles :) Holly's a former pre-k teacher, and is really good with kids, and teaching, and she loves ot help them learn :) a very special shoutout for Holly, helping out in the kitchen today :) i think her being in the kitchen with us, brought back memories for her, of her teaching days in the classroom :)

We got the cookie dough ready ,and i used butter to grease the baking pan, and we put the cookie dough into the pan, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake :) As the cookies began to bake, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and got ready to get the pretzels ready :) Mikey came out into the kitchen :) We were all sharing smiles :) i had some water heating up on the stove, to put the pretzels into :) i cut the pretzel dough into portions, and made the pretzel dough into pretzels shapes :) i put 3 pretzels into the water, the pretzels get bigger, when they go into the water :) my mom and dad came out into the kitchen, and the triplets began to come out, and little Brodie was checking in on the baking friday fun :)

we melted some butter, and added some dried onion flakes into the melted butter, Mikey put the butter/onions onto the pretzels, and we sprinkled garlic powder onto 4 of the pretzels :) we made a total of 9 pretzels :) We were all hanging out, as the cookies and pretzels were baking :) The kids love being funny, and they get us all going, with the funniness and smiles :) Mikey is looking forward to his 9th birthday on monday :) we were playing a fun game of coming up with the coolest, funniest, grossest food we could imagine. :) i said, "how about a mustard milkshake!" hehe! :) Mikey, Holly and i were laughing :) Mikey said, "how about some ketchup freeze pops! haha! :) we were laughing and sharing smiles :) Holly said, "drinking pickle juice!" hehe!:) we were coming up with all kinds of funny ideas, i said, "how about some jalapeno peppers pops!" hehe! :) The chocolate chip cookies finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :)

We continued to share lots of smiles, and cheer :) i said, "how about a cool eggs tossing contest!" hehe! :) Hunter and the triplets came out into the kitchen, the pretzels finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) the kids wanted some water, we got some styrofoam cups, they are mini cups :) i said to Mikey, "these cups work best, with a hole in the bottom of the cup" hehe :) then, Mikey, Hunter, and all of the triplets poked holes in the cups, and tried to fill the cups with water, it was so funny to watch, and the kids were going wild, laughing! hehe! :) we all were having so much fun, sharing in lots of laughs and smiles :) the kids continued with the funny sayings, like they want to fill water ballons with vinegar, and ketchup and mustard! haha! :) we didn't make too much of a mess in the kitchen with the water, we all did some cleaning up :)

The pretzels and chocolate chip cookies bars came out great! :) my mom and i each had a pretzel, Holly and the kids had some cookie bars, i had one too :) They're awesome! :) a super fun, and funny, baking friday adventure today! :) i thanked Holly and the kids for helping bake :) we love our baking friday adventures, and are looking forward to many more super fun adventures as the season goes on :) a very special shoutout, for family and friends :) Lots of great baking, and cooking this week :) We love hearing about the nice foods, and goodies you all bake and cook :) we're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i wish we all could have a big baking friday picnic :) Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars, and Onion Garlic Butter Pretzels, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the awesome spirit of the summer s eason :) we love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) August 7th, 2020 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
