"lets bake some GIANT cookies!"- my nephew's Hunter, Colby, and Brayden said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, flour flying ,and super sweet, happy golden days of summer time, themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun!!! :) baking up some awesome goodies, and spirited baking friday cheer! :) the cookie monsters are digging in, enjoying lots of awesome goodies we baked today :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) today, the kids, Holly, and i baked some Chocolate Chip Cookies, Onion Pretzels, and also cooked some fried yellow squash :) it was lots of fun! :) my dad brought a bowl of yellow squash with him to work, for dinner :) We're enjoying the day :) We had a big baking friday crew today :) Jenn and Mike brought the kids over, for baking friday :) They went out to do some errands. We're all preparing for a hurricane here in New England, which is forecasted to make landfall here, on sunday morning. the national hurricane center has posted a hurricane warning. We're all taking precautions, and going to be fully ready, for the storm. We made it a super fun baking friday adventure today, for the kids :)

Baking friday, classic summer time fun! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy,and enjoying a great day! :) We think of you and your family's often :) We're enjoying a very special time, sharing in, and celebrating the summer season to the fullest, with everyone :) It's been a big summer of baking friday's, lots of baking, cooking, and grilling :) We're very heart-happy and excited for all of the very special memories being made :) Thank you all so very much, for sharing in, this very special tradition with us each week :) You all are always right there with us in spirit, in the kitchen :) one of our favorite joys, is making the adventures fun for the kids :) their spirits, and excitement to bake, truly are what makes baking friday, the awesome tradition it is :) it's amazing, how we're coming up upon the 14th anniversary of baking friday in September :) it's gonna be an awesome celebration :) We've got lots of apples growing on our fruit trees, and will be baking an apple pie, and lots more, to celebrate baking friday's 14th anniversary in September :) There's lots of super fun adventures to look forward too :)

This morning, we had a nice new day, rising and shining :) a very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my famly, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) We've been looking forward to our super fun adventure :) The kids and us all love counting down to baking friday :) i was up early this morning, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) it was a beautiful sunrise sky :) i love taking in the beautiful views of the sunrise sky in the mornings :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) Aww! :) it's been a very active nature week, with lots of our nature friends visiting :) These are some of the best days of summer time, these golden days of summer :)

Our garden, and plants are doing very well :) We've been enjoying lots of nice fresh garden goodies, harvesting lots of goodies this week :) We're very proud of our plants, and garden :) We've been enjoying the season very much, seeing lots of beautiful flowers blossoming, and lots of fruits and vegetables growing :) it's a very exciting and rewarding time in the gardening season :) We love sharing our garden with everyone :) We're going to be securing our home, yard, and garden, later on today, and also doing some preparations tomorrow, as we have a hurricane watch here in our area, the storm Henri in the atlantic, is forecasted to track up here to New England early sunday morning, and throughout day on sunday. We are in the direct path, according to the national hurricane center's track, and a hurricane warning has been posted for our area here. We'll be keeping safe, here at home, and will do all we can to make sure our home, yard, and garden, is fully secured, best we can, in preparations for this storm. Wishing everyone safety, and hoping the storm passes as quickly as it can. We're going to help my brother Charlie tomorrow, with his patio, plants. Will be keeping everyone updated. It was nice going out for a nature walk this morning, and seeing the beautiful sunrise sky :)

It was a nice morning :) we enjoyed our breakfast, and having some water, iced coffee, and hot tea :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) it's so much fun decorating, it's a big part of baking friday each week :) today i decorated with a cool golden days of summer time theme :) our kitchen looked great! :) As the morning went on, we tuned into some sports radio, checked out the latest news on weather forecast, and also went outside to check in on our plants, and began putting some items away around our yard, to get a head start on preparations for the storm on sunday. Holly and i picked some more string beans too :) We enjoyed a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

Around 2:30pm, Alyssa and the kids came over :) Jenn and Mike brought Mikey, and Hunter over around 3pm, and they went out to run errands in preparations for the upcoming storm. The kids love baking friday, and get so excited when we bake cookies, one of their favorite treats :) We've been enjoying our summer time baking friday's, and as the new school year approaches for the kids, we're gonna continue with our summertime baking friday's, and then beginning our countdown to fall season themed baking friday's, in September :) We're very happy, and thankful to have this very special tradition in our lives to look forward too :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies, that we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron that Holly gave me, and we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our baking friday supplies, are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake some awesome goodies :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) The kids love to help Holly and i :) Today, Hunter, Colby, and Brayden joined Holly and i in the kitchen, for baking friday :) Taylynn, Mikey, and Jacob were hanging out in the living room, playing video games :) We first began to prepare the chocolate chip cookies :) They're one of our favorite goodies to bake :) we got the flour flying in the air in the kitchen today, it's a cool baking friday tradition :) my mom and dad was coming out into the kitchen, they were so excited, that we were making fried yellow squash today :) it's one of their favorite foods :) earlier, i washed and sliced some yellow squash, and added some milk, and egg in a bowl, and stirred it, and added in the sliced yellow squash, and dipped the squash in breadcrumbs ,and added the yellow squash into the fryer :) my dad was very excited to bring a bowl of the yellow squash into work :) my mom, Holly, and i also had some yellow squash, it's delicious! :)

We were having fun preparing the chocolate chip cookies :) We always love to taste test the chocolate chips, before adding them into the bowl of ingredients :)The kids love adding the ingredients, they get so proud, and excited, helping bake :) We're so happy Hunter joined in on the baking friday fun :) We were sharing smiles, Hunter had his ipad phone music player going, he loves music :) We super stirred the chocolate chip cookie dough, and i used butter to grease the baking pans :) We made some round shaped cookies ,and also cookie bars too, as we had enough cookie dough to bake both :) we were having lots of fun, baking and cooking :) i put the cookies and cookie bars into the oven to bake :) We love the scent of cookies baking in the oven :)

As the cookies were baking, we got ready to prepare the onion pretzels :) Earlier, i prepared some pretzel dough, so that the dough could rise :) i sliced the pretzel dough into portions, and had some water heating up on the stove, for the pretzels to go into a water boil, before baking :) the pretzel recipe is really good, i use 1 cup of water, 1 packet of yeast, some sugar, a little salt, and vegetable oil, and then add in dried mined onion flakes, and flour :) we made the pretzel dough into the classic pretzel shapes, and then put the pretzels 2 at a time, in the water boil, and then used a metal spatula to put the pretzels onto the greased baking pan :) the chocolate chip cookies, and cookie bars finished baking, i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) The kids were cheering for the cookies :) we're all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :)

i put the onion pretzels into the oven to bake :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) once the cookies finished cooling, and i sliced the cookie bars, we all began to dig in :) The cookies are going fast :) The pretzels baked for a good 25 minutes in the oven, they baked nicely :) We love onion pretzels :) We had so much fun baking goodies today :) i thanked the kids, and Holly for helping bake :) We love these awesome times, and all of the great memories being made :) We had lots more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout for family and friends :) Lots of great baking, cooking, and grilling this week :) We love hearing about all of the goodies, and foods you all make :) We're with eachother in spirit in our kitchens :) This is so much fun, and very special :) i wish we all could gather, and have a big baking friday picnic :) Chocolate Chip Cookies, Onion Pretzels, and Fried Yellow Squash, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the wonderful spirit of these golden days of the summer season : )We love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) August 20th, 2021 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)

We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) spirit of summer time! :) We love it!!! :) my family, Holly,and i are doing well, healthy, and in good spirits :) it was so much fun baking goodies today :) There's lots of great things going on this week, and many special memories being made :) the weekend is arriving with lots of awesome summer time spirit :) We love the weekend's :) Tomorrow, Holly and i are going to have a zombies movies marathon, to celebrate the big arrival of season 11 of TWD show on sunday :) We love our popcorn movies days :) it's gonna be spook-tacular! :) on sudnay, we're gonna have a TWD marathon, counting down to the new episode of TWD on sunday night :) We're gonna do some cooking, and having snacks, and drinks :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone in my weekend journals :) There's lots to look forward too :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 episodes of most haunted show :) We love our fun, friday night paranormal party night's :) Tomorrow, we'll be preparing for the hurricane, getting our home, yard, and garden ready and secured.
