"It's time to grill! More Lemonade Please! This is fun!"- my little nieces Kayla, Taylynn, and little nephew Mikey, and i said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's CHILLIN N GRILLIN BAKING FRIDAY!!! :) oh my! :) oh boy!!! :)A super fun, and super sweet, Chillin N Grillin themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) we had the flour flying! the hotdogs grillin! and we were squeezing the lemons, as we made some delicious goodies today, for our annual, Chillin N Grillin themed baking friday adventure! :) this was awesome, and one of the funnest baking friday's we've ever had! :) after we finished baking today, we were digging into the hotdogs :) Taylynn and Mikey had their tables all set, and Taylynn said, "More Lemonade please!" awww! :) the kids want to start their own lemonade stand! :) hehe! :) this was awesome fun, and lots of sweet memories made, as we shared lots and lots of smiles in the kitchen today :) We wish you all could come over to enjoy some goodies :) my family and i want to take this time, to wish you all, a very happy, safe, and fun, Memorial day holiday weekend :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Taylynn, Mikey, and i baked wheat pretzels, grilled hotdogs, and we made fresh squeezing homemade lemonade :) We've began to have some of the lemonade, it's rocking and rolling good! :) mmm mmm! :) This was awesome fun, and super wild and cool in the kitchen today! :) Taylynn joined in on the baking friday fun! :) She's just had her 2nd lemonade, and she wants more! :) hehe! :) this is awesome! :) i am smiling and smiling! :) i've been thinking of you all often today, and we're so happy and thrilled, to share our baking friday adventure with everyone :) we've been counting down the days, until the memorial day holiday weekend, and our super fun adventure today :)
It's that time of the year, the memorial day holiday weekend is arriving :) it's a time of many wonderful memories, remembrances in loving memory of all of the brave men and women, who have served our country over the years, and also taking time, to salute, all of our troops, who currently serve our country today :) We salute them, and we love them, appreciate them, and all that they do, for our country :) as we all get ready to gather with loved ones, to celebrate the memorial day holiday weekend, we're with eachother in spirit :) Memorial day weekend is one of the most joyful, and wholesome weekends of the year :) it's a time, when family's, friends, gather, to celebrate together, the spirit of life, the spirit of remembrance, the spirit of the season :)
it's a time, when people are out and about, participating in festivities, whether it's traveling, or visiting with loved ones, or visiting down by the waterside, or firing up the BBQ Grill, for some awesome BBQ cookouts :) nature, gardening, the spirit of the weekend, it's truly amazing, and one of the most exciting times :) We love the weekend, and are so happy, excited, and thrilled, to celebrate with you and your family's :) it's truly the weekend, that officially kicks off the countdown to the summer season :) my family and i love celebrating special, and joyful times with you and your family's :) over the course of the year, the seasons, holidays, and other special occasions, we're always with eachother in spirit, and lots of great memories being made :) We hope everyone enjoys an amazing upcoming weekend, that will always bring joy to your hearts, each time you think of all of the very special memories being made :) it's so much fun, getting to share with eachother, across the miles :)
To begin this amazing weekend, we wanted to have our annual, CHILLIN N GRILLIN themed baking friday adventure :) This morning, a sweet new morning, was rising and shining :) Lots of excitement in the air :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family, a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your lovely happy baking friday, and memorial day weekend wishes :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) we've been looking forward, to all of the nice treats, we had on our baking friday GRILLIN n GRILLIN menu! :) hotdogs, lemonade, and wheat pretzels :) we couldn't wait! :) hehe! :)
This morning, i enjoyed a nice early morning nature walk, i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for our wonderful nature animal friends :) we love to put the goodies outside often for them ,so that they can stock up their nests, and enjoy the treats :) i checked in on the plants this morning :) The plants, fruit trees, and flower bushes are doing great! :) Everything is growing so nice, healthy, and flourishing with lots of wonderful growing spirit of the season :) i am so thrilled, for this time of the year :)it's a nature wonderland, all around : )colors of green, and bright delightful flowers :) it's amazing to soak up this incredible energy, and the sweet joyful sights that makes the season shine :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and dad :) they went out to the stores yesterday, and picked up baking friday supplies :) it's so nice, and sweet of them :) We got all of the nice supplies, including some fresh lemons, hotdogs, hotdog rolls, and also lots more, for our adventure today :) Around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday supplies, and Patriotic decoratives, and went out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) today, we did a special Patriotic theme, for Memorial day holiday weekend :) i decorated our kitchen, with our plates, napkins, and BBQ grilling pictures, including a picture of Mr. Cool Hotdog! :) we were so excited, about the adventure today :) i brought out my George Foreman grill, we love to use, to grill the hotdogs :) i cooked a nice lunch, and early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :)
Around 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, to put finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) i washed our nice pitcher we have, for the lemonade, i got the George Foreman grill all set, and i began to get some water, and sugar boiling on the stove, it's the special syrup, to make the lemonade :) Kayla and Taylnn arrived home from school, and Jenn and little Mikey came over :) we were all gathering around : )Taylynn said, "i want to help bake!" She said, "i'm gonna squeeze the lemons!" :) Awww! :) Taylynn was talking to us, about how she told her teacher, that we bake goodies on friday, and her teacher was so happy to hear that :) awww! :) This was awesome! :) We got our picture taken together, in the kitchen :) We were all so excited, and ready to begin a super fun adventure :) each week, we get lots of wonderful use, from our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and other baking friday supplies :) i texted friends throughout the day, to wish them a happy baking friday :) Thank you everyone, for the nice texts :) We were all set, and ready to begin our super fun adventure! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! and grill! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) we first began ,by preparing the wheat pretzels :) This was awesome! :) Kayla, Taylynn, Mikey, and i were adding the ingredients into the big bowl! :) We put 1 cup of water, 1 packet of yeast, we then super stirred, and added in 4 cups of flour. : )2 cups of wheat flour, 2 cups of white flour :) Taylynn got the flour flying in the air for us! :) hehe! :) this was awesome fun ,and we were sharing lots of smiles! :) We super stirred the dough, we added in a little more water, to give the dough a good texture :) we then put the dough on the counter, i kneaded the dough, and cut the dough into portions :) We then began to roll the dough, and made pretzels shapes :) We put the pretzels onto a dish, for later on, for when we boiled the pretzels :) We're so happy Taylynn was joining in on the baking friday fun :) She was so proud, each time she did something cool, she was smiling and smiling :) We encouraged her, and Mikey, saying, "good job!" :) Kayla and i love teaching kids about baking :)
on the stove, i had some nice water/sugar boiling up, it's 1 cup of water, and 1 and 3rd cup of sugar :) it's the syrup, for the lemonade :) i poured the syrup into the pitcher, and then it was time to squeeze the lemons! :) i sliced the 3 lemons into portions :) Kayla, Taylynn, Mikey, and i then began to squeeze the lemons, we were getting lots of nice lemon juice, the kitchen smelled like lemons! :) hehe! :) this was awesome! :) my mom, dad, and Jenn were also coming out into the kitchen :) This was so sweet, and very spirited fun! :) we squeezed the lemons really good, and then added in, a little more lemon juice we had, in the fridge, to give us, a full cup of lemon juice :) we sifted out the lemon seeds, by using a strainer, so that none of the seeds got into the lemonade :)
Taylynn poured the lemon juice into the pitcher that also had the nice syrup of water/sugar we boiled :) we stirred it, and then added in, 4 cups of water :) We stirred, and then added in, about 4 pieces of the lemon for added flavoring :) i then put the lemonade into the fridge to chill :) i got some water heating up in a cooking pot on the stove, for the pretzels :) before we bake the pretzels, we love to give the pretzels a quick boil in the hot water, this makes the pretzles get larger :) as the water was heating up, we got the George Foreman grill going :) We got the pair of tongs, the kids were so excited, to use the tongs, to help turn the hotdogs over :)
We put lots of hotdogs on the grill, and were hearing the hotdogs sizzling and cooking :) we were having so much fun! :) we all turned over the hotdogs, Taylynn said, "i want to give a hotdog to nana!" :) Awww! : )very sweet! :) Kayla also put some cheese hotdogs, onto the grill :) as the hotdogs continued to grill, we were all having an awesome time, talking :) i used butter to grease the baking pan, i put the pretzels into the boiling water, for about 1 minute, i then used a metal spoon/spatula to put the pretzels onto the pan :) we love pretzels! :)i melted some butter, to pour on top of the pretzels, and then put the pretzels into the oven to bake! bake! bake! : )As the pretzels were baking, we continued to grill the hotdogs :)
i brought the hotdog rolls out of the fridge, we set up the hotdog rolls on a nice Patriotic plate we have. :) we grilled the hotdogs until they were fully done, and began to put the hotdogs in the rolls :) it looked so nice :) We all had a nice hotdog, it was great! :) delicious! :) i put honey mustard on my hotdog :) little Mikey and Taylynn set up 2 tables in our living room, they were sitting, having some hotdogs, and iced cold lemonade too! :) i got some cups, with the lemonade, and ice, and the kids love it! :) i was having lemonade too :) it came out great! :) We were all hanging out, Kayla had 2 hotdogs :) my mom had a hotdog too :) the pretzels baked very nicely, i brought the pretzels out of the oven :) i put together a nice Patriotic dish, for Jenn and Mikey to bring home :)
This was so sweet, and very special :) this was one of the most funnest baking friday's we've ever had :) We want to have another, CHILLIN N GRILLIN themed baking friday adventure, this upcoming summer season :) We're also planning our annual, campfire smores/rice krispies/brownies treats, themed baking friday adventure soon too! :) i thanked Kayla, Taylynn, and Mikey for helping bake and grill today :) We had so much fun today, and are cherishing all of the very special memories being made :) We love these very special, spirited times :) There's many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) We have a very special shoutout, to everyone :) family, friends, many plans to cook, bake, and grill foods this week, and upcoming weekend, lots of nice grilling, baking, cooking :) This is awesome fun! :) We're always with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens, and while grilling foods on the BBQ grill :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) May 23rd, 2014 :) Happy baking friday, and Happy Memorial day holiday weekend everyone :)
We're enjoying a SUPER MEGA SWEET SPIRITED AWESOME DAY!!! :) BAKING FRIDAY!!! :) WE LOVE IT!!! :)my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits! :) We're so very happy, excited, and thrilled! :) the memorial day holiday weekend is arriving, with lots of spirited joys, of spring time, sharing with family and friends :) i'll be thinking of you and your family's often, this upcoming weekend :) We have so much to look forward too :) it's gonna be a weekend, of wholesome joys, exciting times, with all of the nature, gardening, BBQ cookouts, shopping for plants, and lots more :) it's one of our favorite weeks of the year, that truly begins the countdown to summer season :) We're very happy, and excited, to celebrate the upcoming weekend with everyone :)
i'll be taking lots of pictures, this upcoming weekend, to share with everyone :) we're gonna really rock it with our gardening, planting lots more flowers seeds, string beans and snap peas seeds, nasturiums, sunflowers, and lots more :) my dad and i look forward to our big gardening weekend each year :) We're so excited, to go to malerba's farm, gardening shopping :) i'll take pictures of their greenhouses, to share with everyone :) it's gonna be an amazing, and incredible weekend, and so many sweet memories to be made, to always cherish, and treasure :)
