baking friday :) Candy Corn Sugar Cookies, and Apple Crisp :)

"we love candy corn and cookies!" my nephew's Hunter and Mikey said that today, during baking friday! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) a super fun, and super sweet, happy countdown to fall season, themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) Sharing lots of smiles, eating candy corn, and baking up some awesome treats! :) We're counting down to the fall season, with our seasonal themed baking friday adventures :) We love this time of the year, and all of the wholesome and heart warming traditions, and festivities :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) today, Kayla, Hunter, and i baked some nice candy corn sugar cookies, and some apple crisp :) we're blossoming into some fall season baking friday fun, and all of the great joys of the upcoming traditions, and festivities :) it's a wholesome time of the year, as we get ready to tranition from summer to fall season :) There's so much to look forward to sharing in, and celebrating with everyone, all throughout the upcoming new season :) Thank you everyone, for your special congratulations wishes for Alyssa, Aj, and us all :) We appreciate everything:) Alyssa and her new baby boy Brody are both doing really well, and may be able to come home, as early as this evening, or tomorrow :) we're celebrating the special joy, of welcoming Brody into our family :) we're so happy, and excited :)

my family, Holly, and i hope and pray, that everyone is doing well :) Our continued thoughts, prayers, and hearts are with everyone, being impacted by hurricane florence, and everyone in the path of the storm. We hope and pray, for everyone's safety, and comfort. we've been watching coverage on tv, and on youtube, of the beaches areas. We're keeping everyone in our loving hearts, hoping, and praying the storm eases soon, and for everyone to be ok. thinking of all of our dear angel friends and everyone in the Carolina's, south. big group caring and comforting friendship hug :)

This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) i love to wish my family and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to baking goodies, and welcoming the fall season soon :) there's something so special, about those awesome joys, baking seasonal treats, the scent of apples and cinmamon :) We've got lots of fall season, and upcoming halloween season baking planned :) we're loving the spirit of the season, and month of September :)

i began my day ,with a nice early morning nature walk :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and put the goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i checked in on our plants, they're doing well :) i'm going to be harvesting some more popcorn cobs soon :) we have lots of popcorn plants growing in planters, in our backyard :) It's been an amazing growing season :) we have lots of flowers blossoming in our yard, and garden :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin to set up and decorate for our super fun adventure :) i decorated with a nice fall harvest theme :) our kitchen looked great :) i had a nice chamomile tea this morning, and writing to friends, and had some nice talks with Holly :) i also had a nice lunch :) i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, and also was doing some more decorating, here in my computer room :) my halloween town, and computer room is coming along really well :) i'm having so much fun decorating :) i'm gonna be bringing out my halloween trees soon :) my table is looking BOO-eautiful :)

Around 3pm, my sister Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter came over, and they went with my mom to pick up Taylynn at her bus stop :) when they arrived back here, we were all gathering around, and getting ready to bake :) Hunter and Mikey were so excited to see the container of candy corn we have :) they lvoe candy corn, and had some :) We got our picture taken in the kitchen :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking frriday supplies, we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron, and we use our oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are a big part of our baking and cooking each week :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake some awesome treats :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began to prepare the sugar cookies :) we love the homemade recipe we use :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever" :) She loves to select the egg :) Hunter was helping Kayla and i, and Mikey and Taylynn were hanging out, with my mom and Jenn, we were all talking about fall season, and apple picking :) baking friday teamwork! :) the kids love to help add in the ingredients, super stirring :) Hunter was helping Kayla and i, he added in the flour, sugar, and helped Kayla crack open the egg :) Sharing lots of baking friday smiles :) the triplets were with us in spirit today :) they are so proud, to be big brothers now, they have Brody, their little brother, who will be able to someday join in on the baking friday fun, they'll have so much fun teaching Brody about baking :) awww! :)

i used butter to grease the baking pan, and we put the sugar cookies onto the pan, and i put the cookies into the oven to bake! :) we love that scent of apples and cinnamon baking :) as the cookies were baking, we prepared the apple crisp :) i spread butter in a pie baking dish, and we then added in some apples, with cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, and white sugar :) we stirred it, and i put the apple crisp in the oven to bake :) apple crisp is one of our favorite treats :) the goodies were baking nicely, we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out :) we got some zip lock bags, to put some candy corn in, for Mikey and Hunter to bring home :) The sugar cookies, and apple crisp baked nicely :) i thanked Kayla, and Hunter for helping bake :) Jenn, Mikey, and Hunter brought home some candy corn cookies :) We had so much fun today, baking the goodies :) We love these awesome times, and have many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) We're continuing to countdown to the fall season :) a very special shoutout, for family and friends :) lots of great baking, and cooking this week :) we love hearing about the nice goodies, and foods you all bake, and cook :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) this is so much fun, and very special :) i wish we all could gather, and have a big baking friday picnic :) Candy Corn Cookies, and Apple Crisp, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the sweet spirit of the season! :) We love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday, we love it!!! :) Septembr 14th, 2018 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
