baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, happy golden days of summer time, themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) sharing lots of smiles, and spirited cheer, as we baked up some awesome goodies, and also made homemade salsa with black beans today :) a spirit soaring day, and lots of great joy, as we enjoy these golden days of summer :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, Alyssa, Hunter, and i baked some brownies, honey cornbread muffins, and i also made some salsa this afternoon :) Alyssa was very happy to help bake, and all went really well :) We're cool ,and things are well :) we love when everything is alright, and sharing in a great adventure with family, and friends with us in spirit :) We're planning lots more super fun baking friday adventures :) Kayla was first in line for a brownie today, and little Brodie was first person to have 2 brownies! :) we're cookie monsters :) A really sweet sunny day :) 3 jars of fresh homemade salsa today too :) We're ready for a great weekend! :)

Sweet Joys of Summer time traditions! :) Happy golden days of summer! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy,and enjoying a great day! :) it's our favorite day and tradition, baking friday! :) We've been enjoying the week, and summer season very much, with the special joys of our summer time baking friday adventures, nature, gardening, and lots more special times being shared, and many great memories being made :) Thank you everyone ,so very much for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens, with your sharings about your baking, cooking, and BBQ Grilling :) These are some of the awesome golden days of summer :) The sunshine, the nature glowing, and special times being shared with family and friends, as we make the most of the summer time, and treasuring in all of the seasonal joys :) thank you all ,for making our summer a very special one :) We're so happy, thankful, and blessed to have you all in our lives :) As we continue to enjoy our summer time baking friday adventures, we're also looking forward to blossoming into our fall season baking friday's next month, with a very special happy 13th birthday baking friday, adventure in September, to celebrate baking friday's birthday, with baking apple goodies, using apples from our trees in our yard :) There's lots to look forward too :)

This morning, we had a beautiful new day, rising and shining :) a very special friday tradition i enjoy very much, is wishing my family,Holly, and i a happy baking friday, and i share your sweet happy baking friday wishes with my family and Holly :) awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to our super fun adventure :) We love to ask the kids, what they'd like for us to bake, for baking friday :) the kids love chocolate treats, and decided on brownies, and we also picked out muffins, and i wanted to make some more homemade salsa with black beans :) it's a great time in the gardening season, lots of nice harvesting, and enjoying the fresh garden goodies that grow during summer time :)

As the new day was blossoming this morning ,i was up early, getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) it's been cooler weather this week, with the weather warming back up to classic summer temperatures. there's been a hint of september mornings feeling in the air, with the cooler mornings :) it makes us think of fall foilage, pumpkin treats, and all of the fall season festivities that will be coming soon :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) i saw a happy hummingbird visiting our yard, and then it landed on top of the trampoline :) the hummingbirds are very fast :) it's so neat, seeing them visiting :) Holly and i want to make some more nectar food soon, the hummingbirds :) we'll refill 3 feeders this weekend :) it's awesome, all of the nature sights, and sounds of summer time :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area :) our nature friends love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i saw lots of birds this morning, visiting our yard :) the nature energy is awesome :) i walked over to our garden, to check in on our plants :) our plants are doing really well, growing and flourishing :) it was fun picking tomatoes yesterday, we're having a big growing season for tomatoes :) Holly and i are enjoying the gardening season journey, and so excited for lots more nature, and gardening season adventures as the season goes on :)

It was a sweet morning :) i made a blueberry iced coffee, and we enjoyed a nice breakfast :) Cheers! to family, friends, good health, and the golden days of summer time :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, and decorations and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our s uper fun adventure :) it's a fun baking friday tradition :) today, i decorated with a golden days of summer theme :) Around mid-morning, Holly and i enjoyed a nature walk, checking in on our plants, and we made a nice lunch around mid-day :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, during the early afternoon, writing to friends :) i prepared some tomatoes, and got some fresh homemade salsa cooking on the stove :) It's a nice recipe :) i had the salsa simmer cooking on the stove this afternoon :) the salsa came out great :) i made 3 jars :) it's so good! :) we'll be having some chips and salsa this weekend :) i'd love to share the salsa recipe with everyone :) 

-Tomatoes :)i used cherry tomatoes, and large tomatoes from our garden
-1 jalapeno pepper
-some onion
-3 cans of diced tomatoes
-1 can of tomato paste (to thicken the salsa)
-about a tablespoon of salt to preserve the salsa
-half can of black beans. :) we love black beans in salsa :) corn can be added to the ingredients too :)

Around 3pm, Alyssa, Jenn, and the kids came over :) Mike and Mikey went for a hiking adventure in the woods down the road by the golf course :) Mikey's been taking a great liking to going for hiking adventures :) We were all gathering around :) Hunter wanted to help Alyssa and i bake today :) Hunter and i got our picture taken in the kitchen :) it's a cool baking friday tradition : )The triplets, Brayden, Colby, and Jacob were hanging out in the living room with Taylynn, playing video games, and Brodie and Carter came out into the kitchen at times :) They'll be joining in on some baking friday adventures soon :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) These special supplies are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to bake some awesome treats :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) we first began to prepare the brownies :) brownies are a big time favorite of us all :) i think we could bake brownies every week, and everyone would be very happy, and never get tired of the brownies :) hehe! :) Hunter cracked open an egg, and we added the ingredients :) the kids love to help, and they get so proud, when they add the ingredients :) Hunter's been having a big summer with his brothers, family :) going for adventures, by the lake, and all of the birthday's recently, and Hunter is gonna begin kindergarten soon :) it's amazing, how fast the years go by. The kids are very happy :) We super stirred the brownies mix, and i used some vegetable oil to grease the baking pan, and we poured the brownies into the pan :) we were sharing smiles :) Hunter likes to make funny faces! hehe! :) We were talking about some upcoming fall season baking ,and Alyssa wants us to make some homemade onion rings next week :)

i put the brownies into the oven to bake :) my dad was getting ready for work, and he and my mom came out into the kitchen :) they love their new car, my dad's using their new car for the first time this evening, at work to deliver for domino's :) We're so happy everyone enjoyed seeing my mom's and dad's new car : )They're very happy, and love their new car :) Jenn came out into the kitchen :) We prepared the honey cornbread muffins :) They're easy to make :) i filled the muffin pans with 8 cornbread muffins and put the muffins into the oven to bake :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were hanging out :) Holly's resting today, but is so excited we're baking honey cornbread muffins :)

The cornbread muffins, and brownies finished baking, they came out great! :) i love cornbread, it's one of my favorite foods :) once the brownies cooled down a bit, i cut the brownies :) Kayla was first in line ,and Brodie was 2nd in line, for the brownies :) i took a picture of the brownies, and we all then began to dig in :) my mom had a brownie too, and Holly had a cornbread muffin :) i thanked Alyssa and Hunter for helping bake :) we had a fun time baking ,and are so excited for many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) We're gonna continue our summer time baking friday's ,and the first friday in September, we'll begin our countdown to fall, themed baking friday adventures :) there's many more super fun adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout, for family and friends :) lots of great baking ,and cooking this week :) We love hearing about the goodies and foods you all bake and cook :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) This is so much fun ,and very special :) i wish we all could gather and have a big baking friday picnic :) Brownies, Honey Cornbread Muffins, and Homemade Salsa with black beans, dedicatd to our wonderful family, friends, and to the awesome spirit of these golden days of summer season : )We love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!! :) August 21st, 2020 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
