"Yummy Yummy in our tummies!"- my little nephews Brayden, Colby, and Jacob said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, spirit soaring, Yummy Goodies themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) this was so much fun! :) a very special requests in the kitchen today, for some yummy goodies! :) awww! :) We're so happy and excited! :) we baked and cooked some nice goodies everyone wanted us to make :) We had the baking friday party going in the kitchen today! :) the triplets, Colby, Brayden, and Jacob are in the living room this early evening, eating some brownies! :) awww! : )They're so happy! :) come on over, to enjoy some yummy baking friday goodies! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone : )keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Brayden, Jacob, Colby, and i baked some brownies, and also made potato chips, and garlic parmesan fritters :) yum! :) we drizzled melted butter and garlic on the fritters, and then sprinkled the fritters with parmesan cheese! :) yum! :) i'm gonna have 2 more fritters this evening with some pasta marina sauce, and gonna have some soup too :) we've been baking up some sweet and yummy goodies this winter season, and today blossomed into another super fun baking friday adventure :) Mikey was with us in spirit today, as he, Jenn, Mike, and baby Hunter are traveling to New Hampshire for the weekend, to visit with Mike's parents :)
my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and enjoying a great day! :) This morning, we had a sweet new sunny day, rising and shining :) i love to begin the day by wishing my family and friends a happy baking friday :) Thank you everyone, so very much, for your lovely baking friday wishes :) i love sharing them with my family :) it was a spirited morning! :) i'm so glad, and thankful DS is working better :) i get so pumped up to share my journals, and our pictures :) i went outside early as the sun was rising up :) i put lots of goodies outside, for our nature animal friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) it's been very active in our yard, with lots of birds visiting :) They love to gather the treats :)
i was super charged up, and energized this morning : )Ready to put together an awesome baking friday adventure for everyone :) i love to gather our baking supplies, our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, decorations, and lots more, and i blossom out into the kitchen to decorate :) We get lots of nice use, from our baking friday supplies we've recieved over the years :) it's so special to us, to be able to use these nice supplies :) we also have a very special shoutout, and thank you for my dear, and lovely mom and dad :) they went shopping today, and picked up baking supplies :) It's so nice, and sweet of them :) i had a nice time decorating our kitchen, and prepared a nice lunch, chicken noodle soup :) i went back outside, for a nice mid-day nature walk for a good 45 minutes :) it was awesome, and i saw many birds :) it was a sweet blossoming into the afternoon :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :) around 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen to put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations, for our super fun adventure :)
Alyssa and the triplets came over, and Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school :) i had the deep fryer going, and earlier in the day i had prepared some nice dough, for the garlic parmesan fritters :) i was so excited to try the recipe :) my mom and Alyssa had a special request, for us to make the garlic parmesan fritters, and Colby, Jacob, and Brayden wanted us to make brownies :) Throughout the course of the day, i texted friends to wish them a happy baking friday :) i was so pumped up, all throughout the day for our adventure :) we love baking friday :) our kitchen was all set, and we were all set, and ready for our super fun adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We first began to prepare the brownies :) We love brownies :) they're one of our favorite treats to bake over the years :) Colby, Jacob, and Brayden were very excited, when they saw the box of brownies :) they said, "yummy in our tummy!" hehe! :) awesome! :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best 2 eggs ever! :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) We've been teaching the kids about baking, they're learning a lot, and they are saying so many new words now :) Colby, Jacob and Brayden have taken a great liking, to baking, and cooking :) We added the brownies mix into the bowl, with water, eggs, and vegetable oil, and began to super stir! :)
baking friday teamwork! :) the kids get so proud, when they help out :) They've been learning a lot, they love to point at something on the counter, and say, "what's that"? and "what's that?" hehe! :) awesome! :) Kayla's been helping a lot, in the kitchen :) They stirred the brownies, and i used vegetable oil to grease the baking pan :) on the back of the stove area, i had the deep fryer going ,with some potato chips :) Alyssa and Taylynn love the potato chips we make :) We love to make the chips nice and crispy :) we poured the brownies mix into the baking pan, and i put the brownies into the oven to bake! :)
We were having lots of fun, baking, sharing smiles, and the potato chips, and the garlic parmesan fried dough was doing great in the deep fryer :) i put about 3 small portions of the dough into the deep fryer :) The dough is so easy to make :) it's 1 cup of water, 1 packet of yeast, 1 cup of milk, and i add in flour until it's a nice dough. :) the dough and chips were frying nicely, each time they finished, i used the metal spatula spoon to put the chips and fried dough onto a nice dish :) We melted some butter with garlic powder, and we drizzeled the melted butter onto the fritters, and sprinkled parmesan cheese onto the fritters :) once they cooled down, we tried some :) i continued to cook more chips, fritters, and some fries too :) the kids wanted some french fries :)
The brownies baked nicely :) i brought the brownies out of the oven to cool down :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen, and were trying the garlic parmesan fritters, and chips, delicious! :) it was so much fun baking and cooking today :) once the brownies cooled down, i cut the brownies, and put the brownies onto 2 plates :) the kids have been enjoying some brownies this early evening :) i thanked Kayla, Colby, Jacob, and Brayden for helping bake :) we had so much fun today, and we look forward to many more super fun baking friday adventures :) We're so happy and excited, spring time is near, as march approaches. :) we have a very special shoutout to family and friends :) Lots of cooking, and baking this week :) We love hearing about the goodies you all cook, and bake :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) i wish we all could gather, and have a baking friday picnic :) Thank you all, for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) Brownies, Garlic Parmesan Fritters, and Potato Chips, dedicated to oru wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit of the season :) we love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) February 19th, 2016 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
