baking friday! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) Cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) A super fun, and super sweet, golden days of summer time themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen! :) this was lots of fun! :) We made 2 of the most popular goodies we make, during a super fun adventure in the kitchen today :) celebrating the golden days of summer time :) Sharing lots of smiles, and spirited seasonal cheer :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition :) Today, the kids, Holly, and i baked brownies, and made potato chips :) it was lots of fun :) the kids selected the menu for our baking friday adventure today :)We're very blessed, and thankful to have the baking friday tradition in our lives, and the great excitement it brings us, getting to share our adventures with everyone :) Thank you angel friends, for sharing in this special tradition with us each week :) Happy baking friday smiles :)

This morning, we had a sweet new day rising and shining :) a very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing Holly, our family, and our friends, a happy baking friday, and i share with Holly and our family, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) Thank you angel friends, so very much :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to our super fun adventure :) it's been a nice stretch of days, we're enjoying sharing in the week with everyone, and looking forward to blossoming into the month of September soon :) Fall season countdown, football, and lots more seasonal festivities, and traditions :) i was up early this morning, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) the site was working well early, but i noticed the site was having issues, i was very hopeful all would be ok and working well again :) We've been having some nice cooler, crisp early mornings, with a hint of September weather in the air :) We're enjoying the golden days of the gardening season, with lots of nice harvesting, and flowers blossoming :) We love seeing our nature friends visiting our yard each day :) i gathered a nice bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :)

Our nature friends, plants, and peaceful calm of the early morning greeted me :) We've been seeing lots of happy nature friends visiting our yard, garden, and neighborhood :) i put lots of goodies on the bird feeders, and in the bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) Our plants,and flowers are doing well :) We're enjoying a great harvest season, picking lots of fresh garden goodies :) Holly and i want to cook more zuchinni, and some sauteed string beans :) we have new blossoms on some of our string beans plants :)our pumpkin plants have grown wild, we're very hopeful for a few halloween pumpkins to grow :) We have a beautiful wave of flowers blossoming all around our yard, and garden areas, including lots of morning glory flowers :) The bees and butterflies love the flowers :) We're enjoying a special time enjoying the season, and sharing our garden and adventures with everyone :)We have some more yellow squash growing :) our marigolds will be blossoming soon :) We're looking forward to lots more nature walks, and tending our plants, all throughout the season :) Happy summer nature and gardening season smiles :)

It was a nice peaceful early morning :) we enjoyed a nice breakfast :) i enjoyed some hot chamomile tea, and vanilla iced coffee :) Holly's been drinking lots of water, and also having pineapple juice at times, to continue to get back to fully kidney stones free. She's doing much better :) Tiger girl enjoyed her breakfast, and some treats :)We love our breakfast time, it's a special part of our days :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, kitchen decorations, and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure :) Today, i decorated with a cool golden days of summer theme :) our kitchen looks great :) it's lots of fun decorating, it's a special part of the baking friday tradition :) As the morning went on, we put our favorite sports radio on :) We love tuning in to all of the sports talk :) it's very exciting, the football season is almost here :) Holly and i are looking forward to all of our football party's :) Around mid-day, we enjoyed a nice lunch :)

Around 3pm, Jenn and the kids came over, and my mom is babysitting Brody and the triplets today :) We love welcoming everyone over :) We're so happy the kids are enjoying a great summer vacation, they've been having lots of fun adventures, camping, fishing, going to six flags amusment park, playing outside, and playing their video games :) We're enjoying our baking friday adventures, and very happy and excited to have a special Summer finale themed baking friday adventure for the kids today, as they get ready to begin the new school year next week :) We asked the kids what they wanted us to bake and cook today, they choose Potato Chips and Brownies :) it's 2 of their favorite goodies and treats we make :) We love when they kids help select the baking friday menu :) We're gonna begin our happy countdown to fall season themed baking friday adventures next week :) it's amazing how September is almost here :) We all gathered in the kitchen :) The kids love to select their spots at the kitchen counter :) We got our picture taken :) it's a special baking friday tradition :) You all are always right there with us in spirit in the kitchen :) We love to use our nice baking friday supplies, i wear my nice apron Holly gave me, and we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, baking pans, and all of our baking supplies that we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) Our summer time kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake some goodies :) Sweet Summer time baking! :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure :) baking friday teamwork! :) The kids love to help, they're great helpers :) Hunter and Brody helped Holly and i in the kitchen today :) We first began to prepare the brownies :) they're one of our favorite treats :) We added the ingredients into the bowl :) Hunter and Brody both cracked open the eggs :) We began to super stir the ingredients :) We were sharing lots of smiles :) my mom came out into the kitchen at times, and you all are always right there with us in spirit in the kitchen :) The kids were talking about the upcoming school year: ) Hunter is gonna be beginning junior high school, and Brody is beginning 3rd grade: ) Brody mentioned about how he's very excited to wear his new sneakers to school :) he got a cool new pair of sneakers :) We're so proud of the kids :) They love school :) they're looking forward to the journey of the new school year :) i used vegetable oil to grease the baking pan :) We poured the brownies into the baking pan, and i put the brownies into the oven to bake :)

As the brownies were baking, we made some homemade potato chips :) Earlier i washed the potatoes and sliced the potatoes into shapes of chips :) The chips are very popular :) We got some vegetable oil heating up on the stove :) we made lots of batches of potato chips :) The kids were coming out into the kitchen, everyone was getting a plate of chips, and vinegar with salt :)The kids love to dip the chips into salt/vinegar :) We used the whole 5 pounds of potatoes, we made tons of chips :) The brownies finished baking :) i brought the brownies out of the oven to cool down :) We did some cleaning in the kitchen, and i sliced the brownies, and we all began to dig in :) The brownies came out great :) the chips and brownies are very popular :)
