"We like donuts with frosting" - my nephew's Mikey, Hunter, and Brayden said that today, during baking friday! :) and after we cut the brownies, Hunter said, "Mikey, it's chocolate time!" :) awww! :)

baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super sweet, cool, and fun, donuts baking friday party in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun! :) We got the flour flying in the air today, for a classic baking friday adventure! :) The spirit of summer season has been shining bright, as we gear up to welcome the new month of September, we're counting down to the 10th birthday of baking friday in September! :) There's lots of great things going on, and there's so much more to look forward too :) come on over, for some baking friday goodies! :)

We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, the kids, and i baked some nice brownies, and made some homemade donuts :) The kids are so excited, enjoying the goodies we baked :) after we baked the brownies, Hunter said, "can i have some?" :) awww! :) We love these awesome times, and all of the sweet memories being made :)

Thank you angel friends, for all of your heart-felt well wishes, prayers, and hugs :) You all are so nice, sweet, and very caring :) my mom is continuing to do well, making healing progress :) We're so thankful, and relieved :) We continue to help her, to take it easy, resting more, and focused on continued healing :) i'm doing ok this evening, with my health :) i've been going slower today, and nicely paced, which is helping me, and will be resting up more this weekend :) i'm very thankful to be feeling like my energy is replenishing :) Thank you angel friends, for being here for my family and i :)

This morning, we had a new day, rising and shining :) i woke up feeling a bit more energized, than the night before. i knew i'd be taking it easier, and slower today, as it's been a big week, and it really caught up to me last evening. i'm thankful for the healing blessings, and looking forward to being back to full energy very soon :) i'm in great spirits though, and looked forward to baking friday :) i love to wish my family and friends, a happy baking friday :) i share your lovely happy baking friday wishes with my family :) thank you everyone, so very much : )You all are so nice, and sweet :)

i gathered a nice bowl of goodies this morning, and put the goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i checked in on our plants, they're all doing really well :) it's amazing to see the sunflowers and all of the flowers blossoming :) it's a great time in the season :) i love the spirit of the golden days of summer :) i began to gather baking friday supplies, and decorations, and went out into our kitchen around mid-morning and began to decorate our kitchen :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) We've been looking forward to baking goodies :) i prepared a nice lunch, and also went outside to give our plants a nice watering :)

During the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) shortly after 3pm, i went out into the kitchen, getting everything ready for our baking friday adventure :) Alyssa and the triplets came over, and Jenn ,Mikey, and Hunter came over :) We love the spirit of baking friday, and getting ready to bake some awesome goodies : ) baking friday is such a special tradition to us :) each week, we love to use our baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron, and we use our oven mits, and kitchen towels :) The kids were all excited to bake goodies :) our kitchen was all set, and we were ready for a super fun adventure :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) the kids love to help! :) they get so proud, when they get to add in the ingredients, and super stirring :) We first began to prepare the brownies :) i said to Kayla, pick out the best 2 eggs ever" :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) She got the eggs, and we prepared the brownies mix :) We're so proud of the kids, and how well they do, preparing the goodies :) they're learning a lot about baking :) Mikey's so proud of his little brother Hunter :) Hunter loves to help add in the ingredients, and they all get so proud, super stirring :) We got the brownies all set, and i used vegetable oil grease the baking pan :) we poured the brownies mix into the pan, and i put the brownies into the oven to bake :) the brownies smelled so nice, baking :)

We began to prepare the donuts :) it's a nice recipe, almost like pretzel dough, except we used milk instead of water, and we also added in some vanilla to the milk/yeast, and then added in the flour :) We had the flour flying in the air in the kitchen! :) it's always a cool baking friday tradition over the years :) my mom, and Jenn came out into the kitchen too :) We were sharing smiles, and you all are always right there with us in spirit : )i got the donuts maker out, and we prepared the dough nicely, and then began to put the donuts dough, in the donuts maker :) we love to make these nice mini donuts :)

We began to make some batches of donuts :) We made 18 donuts with the dough we prepared :) we had some vanilla frosting, i melted the frosting in the microwave for 30 seconds, and we dipped the donuts into the frosting :) The donuts came out great! :) we all began to dig in, to enjoy some donuts :) We brownies finished up baking :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen :) We had so much fun baking brownies, and making donuts today :) we love these awesome times :) i thanked Kayla and the kids for helping bake :) We have many more superf un baking friday adventures to look forward too, as we get ready to welcome the month of September :) A very special shoutout to family and friends :) Lots of great baking, and cooking this week :) We love hearing abotu the nice foods, and goodies you all bake and cook :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our ktichens :) i wish we all could gather and have a big baking friday picnic :) Brownies, and Donuts, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the awesome spirit of the season :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it!!! :) August 25th, 2017 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
