THIS WAS, ONE OF THE MOST AWESOME BAKING FRIDAYS WE'VE EVER HAD!!! :) whooo! :)
baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and sweet CHILLIN N GRILLIN, BBQ COOKOUT themed baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) come on over, for a BBQ! :) oh my! :) This was super mega sweet awesome!!! :) we had the hotdogs grilling, and the corndogs sizzling! and the baked beans baking, and the popcorn poppity pop pop popping, with all of the baking friday fun! :) Taylynn was eating a corndog, and she said, "man! this is delicious!" awww! :) my mom, dad, and i had a corndog too, and my mom said, "this baking friday is a hit!" :)awww! :) We were chillin and grillin in the kitchen today, for one of our funnest, and most awesome baking friday adventure's we've ever had! :) We wish you all could come over, to enjoy some delicious BBQ goodies! :)
We love, cherish, and treasure, these wonderful times. :) We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone. :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today we turned our kitchen into a BBQ cookout picnic area, and we grilled, baked, and cooked, some sweet delicious goodies! :) We grilled hotdogs, we baked beans, we cooked corndogs, and we made kettle cooked popcorn on the stove! :) mmm mmm! :) This was, so much fun, and so very sweet! :) We were absolutely chillin and grillin in the kitchen today, with the wonderful spirit of summer countdown in the air! :)
It's such a beautiful time of the year. :) The spring season in full swing, and we are on our way, to the SUMMER season! :) it's that time of the year, with many people out and about, enjoying the festivities, and traditions of the season. :) From yardwork, to gardening, to firing up the BBQ grill, and grilling those delicious season favorites. :) hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, pork, corn on the cob, and lots more! :) it's one of the most exciting times of the year. :) one of our favorite joys, is having a BBQ cookout. :) For as long as i can remember, we've been enjoying cookouts throughout the years. :) From cookouts in Maine with my nana Paula and Grandma Jack, to have my Grandma and family from New London, Connecticut come over for cookouts, to those spontaneous cookouts. :) There's just something so very wonderful, about that scent of the BBQ grill cooking foods, the nice golden sunshine, sweet blue sky, and gathering with family and friends, to enjoy a wonderful cookout. :)
To Celebrate the season, and countdown to summer time, today, we wanted to have a chillin n grillin BBQ cookout themed baking friday adventure! :) today, is the 299th baking friday adventure celebration! :) We've been celebrating summer countdown themes, as we are only weeks away, from summer season arriving. :) We've been looking forward to our adventure all week. :) Last weekend, while at the dollar store, on the food aisle, i found a cool box of corndog batter mix, and it turned out to be, one of the most awesome things we've ever used during our baking friday adventures! :) my mom said, "Chris, i'm buying some more of that corndog batter mix!" :) awww! :) This was awesome! :) we had the whole family joining in on the feast! :)
This morning, a wonderful new spring morning, arriving with lots of spirit. :) i wished Kayla, Taylynn, and our family, a happy baking friday, and shared with them, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes. :) Thank you everyone, so very much! :) You all are so nice, and sweet. :) one of the nice cooking supplies we used today, is a George Foreman cooking grill, that i got for Christmas back in 2005. :) i've barely used it, but when we do use it, it's awesome fun, being able to grill right there in the kitchen! :) it's like a real BBQ grill! :) i went outside early this morning, to check in on the plants, and to feed our wonderful nature animal friends. :) We've got some rain in our area today, the plants, bushes, and fruit trees are doing really well, growing, flourishing. :) our nature animal friends enjoyed their goodies, it's their baking friday breakfast feast! :)
We have a very special shoutout, and thank you, for my dear, and lovely mom, and sister Lisa. :) They went to the grocery store yesterday evening and picked up baking friday supplies. :) it's very nice, and sweet of them. :) Thank you mom and Lisa, so very much! :) They got some awesome deals, on 2 packages of hotdogs, hotdog buns/rolls, plus beans, and vegetable oil. :) We were all stocked up, and ready for our super fun adventure! :) my mom and Lisa help make baking friday possible each week. : )around mid-morning, i gathered baking friday supplies, and decoratives, and ventured out into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen for our super fun adventure! :)it's lots of fun decorating. :) we decorated with a BBQ cookout theme this week, we had our red/white napkins, plus our George Foreman grill. :) i cooked a delicious lunch, and this early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends. :) Around 3pm, i began to gather some more baking friday supplies, and put the finishing touches on our kitchen preparations. :)
Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school, they had a big day at school, and are getting ready for their graduations. :) Kayla and her classmates went to the movie theatre today, for a cool field trip. :) Kayla was sharing all about the adventure, she and her friends got popcorn, candy, and drinks! :) they had lots of fun, they show the new Epic movie. :) Taylynn's kindergarten graduation is next friday afternoon. :) There's so many great things going on, and many special memories being made. :) Kayla and Taylynn were very excited to see our kitchen all set up, and decorated for our super fun adventure. :) i had the George Foreman grill heating up, plus some vegetable oil heating up in a cooking pot on the stove. :) We were gearing up, for some fun chillin and grillin! :)
i wore my apron that our dear and lovely friend Cj's (ddeadred) lovely mom sewn for me, plus we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and pot holders that we have recieved from friends, all around the world. :) each one, is very special, and unique. :) i sent texts to friends today to wish them a happy baking friday. :) Thank you everyone, for the wonderful texts! :) You all are always with us in spirit in the kitchen during our adventures, and we're with you all in spirit too. :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to grill, and ready to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) This was AWESOME!!! :) we first began by preparing the beans. :) We had 2 nice cans of beans. :) we got a cooking pan, and opened up the cans, and poured the beans into the pan, and put the beans into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) one of the cans of beans is maple and bacon. :) our kitchen smelled delicious! :) We then decided, to begin some GRILLIN!!! :) we had the George Foreman grill all heated up, began to put some hotdogs on the grill. :) the sizzle! sizzle! of the grill, reminded us of the hotdogs cooking on a BBQ Grill. :) my mom was checking in on the baking friday fun, she was looking forward to having a corndog! :) We love them! :)
Kayla, Taylynn, and i, and my mom, were sharing lots of smiles in the kitchen today. :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever!" :) She loves to select the eggs. :) She opened the fridge, and picked up the best egg. :) We poured the corndog batter mix into the bowl, with some half and half cream milk, and an egg, and began to SUPER STIR! :) We then got some popsicles sticks, and put the sticks into the hotdogs, for the corndogs. :) the vegetable oil was all heated up on the stove. :) we dipped the hotdogs into the batter mix, and i then put one hotdog at a time, in the vegetable oil, and it was sizzle cooking, mmm mmm! :) this was awesome! :) We were making lots and lots of corndogs! :) my mom, Taylynn, my dad, and i, each had a corndog, delicious! :) we were so very impressed! :) We made more! :) we had a plateful of corndogs! :) Taylynn said, "man! this is delicious!" :) awww! :) so cute! :)
This baking friday was rocking and rolling! :) we had the beans baking in the oven, corndogs all set, and we also had the hotdogs grilling on the George Foreman grill. :) i was using some cooking tongs, to turn the hotdogs around, they were cooking so nicely, just like on a BBQ grill! :) We were having so much fun! :) We began to prepare the kettle cooked popcorn. :) i got a cooking pot, and poured vegetable oil in, and Kayla added in 2 spoonfuls of butter. :)it was heating up on the stove, i poured in some popcorn kernals, and covered the cooking pot with a large baking pan. :) The kernels were getting ready to pop! :) popcorn! :) Kayla and i put the hotdogs into the hotdog buns/rolls, and had a huge plateful of the hotdogs. :) Kayla had a cheesedog we cooked on the grill for her. :)
my mom was telling us, about how awesome the corndogs came out. :) this was so sweet! :) my dad had a corndog with his dinner! :) we were so happy and thrilled! :) the popcorn popped, and also the baked beans were all set. :) i had a hotdog with some beans on top! :) mmm mmm! :) Delicious!!! WOW! :) This was so much fun!!! :) i thanked Kayla and Taylynn for helping me. :) this early evening, i also thanked my mom again for picking up baking friday supplies at the store. :) i'm gonna thank Lisa this evening when she arrives home from work. :) We had so much fun today, this was one of the most awesome baking friday adventures we've ever had! :) We're definitely gonna have another BBQ baking friday adventure this upcoming summer! :) we cleaned up the kitchen, and i was feeling so very proud, this is so wonderful, when everyone enjoys the baking friday goodies. :) We are so happy, and delighted. :) This wonderful tradition in our lives, is a very special gift, and treasure to our hearts. :) We have, some more SUPER FUN, baking friday adventures planned. :) There's many more adventures to look forward too :)

We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) we love it! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) i'm gonna have a grilled hotdog, corndog, and baked beans this evening for dinner, and having some kettle cooked popcorn tonight. :) we're so very happy, thankful, and blessed, to have the wonderful opportunity, to experience nice days, and great weeks like this, celebrating in all of the very special times, with everyone. :) The weekend is arriving with lots of spirit. :) Tomorrow is Belmont Stakes horse race day. :) it's gonna be so exciting! :) my mom, dad, and i are going to the mohegan sun casino, to place some bets on the race. :) i've been looking at the horses, studying a bit, and gonna place bets on 2 horses in the race, across the board bets. :) it's gonna be awesome! :) it's the 3rd race of the 2013 triple crown. :) Derby Winner Orb and Preakness winner Oxbow will both be racing tomorrow, and also Golden Soul horse. :)
We're gonna watch the horse race here at home, cheering on the horses. :) This weekend, it could be some rainy weather, it'll be a nice weekend for the plants to enjoy the rain, and we may go shopping on sunday. :) i'd love to go to the Christmas tree shop to buy some greetings cards. :) i love sharing our weekend adventures with everyone in my journals. :) it's gonna be a really nice weekend. :) we have some heavy rain in our forecast tonight into tomorrow morning. i moved some of the planters/sprouts, to our organic  gardening area, so that they won't get soaked. we're hoping for the return of nice sunny weather soon, and doing some more gardening. :) the christmas tree shop has a nice garden section, i'd love to see if they have some flower bulbs, or some packets of seeds. :) i'm very excited about the weekend. :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made. :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us. :) You all are so very wonderfully nice, and sweet. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) There's many more great things to look forward too. :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly. :) We love to talk, and watch ghost adventures. :) It's paranormal night on the travel channel. :) i'm gonna have some kettle cooked popcorn, and iced coffee. :) my family and i hope everyone enjoys a wonderfully safe, fun, and happy weekend. :)
