baking friday :) Apple Pie, Garden Salsa :) Mikey joined us today! :)

"hey guys, i'm here, and i'm ready to bake!"- my little nephew Mikey said that today, during baking friday! :)
baking friday!!! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :)cookie monsters! :) hehe! :)cookie monsters unite!!! :)it's baking friday! :) oh my! :) a super fun, and super sweet, WILD and COOL, baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :)with a very special BAKER RETURN to the kitchen today! :) Little Mikey was back in the kitchen, and he said, "i'm back!" hehe! :) very adorable! :) We were sharing lots and lots of smiles, as we baked up some sweet baking friday fun, and many great memories being made :) our 2nd batch of fresh homemade Garden Salsa, and also, a delicious FALL HARVEST PREVIEW, as we baked an Apple pie today! :) this was awesome!!! :) lots of spirit soaring excitement, and lots to share in my journal today, including how i'm ordering a new digital camera on ebay this evening! :) wow! : )there's lots to share, and baking friday fun was rocking and rolling today! :) Come on over, for some fresh baked goodies! :)
We sure do love our baking friday adventures, and sharing our adventures with everyone : )keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition, today Kayla, Mikey, and i baked an apple pie, with cinnamon, and made 4 more jars of fresh delicious garden salsa! :) mmm mmm! :) This adventure was rocking and rolling, as we had lots and lots of family over, and they were in and out of the kitchen, from time to time, even Taylynn came out into the kitchen! :) Lots of spirit soaring excitement, as we are getting ready, to welcome the month of September, counting down to the Fall season, and Football season. : )next friday, we're gonna bake football goodies, and we already getting special requests, form my niece Alyssa, to bake pumpkin pies! :) WOOT! :) we're so happy and excited, to welcome you all into our home, and into our kitchen :) You all are always in our hearts, and with us in spirit, during these amazing times! :)
Thank you angel friends! :) awww! :) This is a wonderful day, and the summer sun is continuing to shine! :) Sweet classic, and golden days of Summer! :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) i'm feeling so much better today, and in tune with the day :) with family and friends, and awesome times of the golden days of the season :) Thank you all for your amazing love, care, support, guidance, and encouragement, and for all of your lovely happy baking friday wishes :) i share your wishes with my family :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) This morning, i wished Kayla and Taylynn, and our family a happy baking friday, as the brand new day was rising and shining :) We've had a wonderful stretch of sunny days here this week :) The plants loving it! :) sunny days, and lots of birds, butterflies, bumble bees, and squirrels out and about :)
i began my day, with a nice natue walk :) when i first went outside, i noticed our huge tall sunflower next to our front steps, has began to blossom :) WOW! :) it's incredible! :) i took my camera out of my pocket, and turned the camera button on, and was getting a system error. oh my! this means, the lens/super zoom, was sticking a bit, i thought it would be fine, but it hasn't worked, and i think it's definitely time, to get a new digital camera. i've had this current one, since April 2012, about 28 months, and has been through a lot. i'm buying a new one, on ebay :) it was a bit of a rush this morning, as i was worried about charging up my old digital camera battery, i finally found the charger, and was able to charge the battery :) it's a relief :) i found the same digital camera, on ebay, and ordering it this evening :) it'll be arriving early next week :) i look forward to getting a new camera :) the Sanyo X1200 is my favorite :)
Our plants continue to do well, thriving with the season :) i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for our nature animal friends : )they were so happy, as they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) i love to see the sparrows birds, gathering the breads :) they love it! :) it was a really peaceful morning :) around mid-morning, i gathered our baking friday supplies, and went into our kitchen, to begin setting up, and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) i decorated with our new kitchen towels, that our dear friends Maria (Love4You), Lionel, Denise, and their family sent us :) Our kitchen looked great! :) i prepared a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon, enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :) my mom and dad went out to shop earlier, and they got some nice pie crusts for us :) it's very nice of them :) around 2:20pm, i went out into our kitchen, to prepare some of the tomatoes, peppers, and onion, as i wanted to make some more fresh homemade garden salsa :) We've been getting lots of nice tomatoes, and peppers from the garden :) i went outside before 3pm, to water our plants, and then around 3pm, was back in the kitchen, putting finishing touches on our kitchen preparations :) my mom recieved a call from Jenn, she mentioned she and Mikey were coming over to visit :) awesome!!! :) Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school, aroudn 3:20pm :) We're getting back into our original baking time, around 3:30pm :)
the Salsa was cooking nicely on the stove, it smells so good! :) i added 2 cans of tomato paste into the salsa to thicken it up :) Taylynn sometimes bakes with us, and sometimes is into watching the tv shows after school :) we always mention to her, she's welcome to join us in the kitchen for baking friday fun :) Jenn and Mikey arrived, and Mikey came indoors, he said, "hey guys, i'm here, and i'm ready to bake!" awww! :) This is awesome!!! :) Kayla, Mikey, and i got our picture taken in the kitchen :) my niece Alyssa was over with the triplets :) We were all hanging out, and getting ready to bake :) each week, we get lots of nice use, from our baking friday supplies :) our aprons, oven mits, kitchen towels, hot mats, and lots more :) our wonderful supplies we have recieved from family and friends over the years, are always a very special part of our cooking and baking adventure :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were all set, and ready to bake! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
We began our super fun adventure! :) We were so happy, and excited that Mikey was back in the kitchen with us :) awesome!!! :) we began to prepare the apple pie : ) Mikey helped roll the pie crusts, into the pie baking dish :) Kayla was helping him, and we were talking about upcoming month of September, and fall harvest baking friday's, and eventually the halloween time baking friday adventures :) We got lots planned :) we used some nice cans of apples, that my mom had in the cupboard :) we used 2 cans, to make a nice filled apple pie :) we were spreading the apples amongst the pie, and also sprinkled some cinnamon on top of the apples :) the apples slices are really nice :) we were sharing lots of smiles, Mikey was so happy to be back in the kitchen with us :) We got some sprinkles for him, in the cupboard :) he loves sprinkles! :) We believe Mikey will be joining in on more baking friday's now, that Kayla and Taylynn are in school, and we're settling back into our normal routines, and schedules :)
my mom, Alyssa, Jenn, and Taylynn were coming in and out of the kitchen too :) this was great! :) i was checking in on the salsa, stirring it :) all of the tomatoes in the salsa, are from our garden :) it's so nice, fresh garden salsa :) We love it! :) we were having an awesome time! : )sharing lots of smiles in the kitchen :) We put the top pie crust on, and i then used a knife to make air pockets on top of the pie, for even baking :) i then put a nice aluminum foil over the pie, and put the pie into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :) our kitchen was smelling great, with salsa cooking, and apple pie baking :) We were talking, and sharing in the spirit of this awesome day :) i'm so proud, as i stirred the salsa, and thinking of the tomato plants we have grown in our garden this season :) Lots of delicious tomatoes, and peppers :) the salsa finished cooking, i put the salsa into canning jars, i put a butterknife into each jar, to help protect the jars, from the hot salsa, then removed the butterknife, and sealed the jars :) we have 4 more jars now, of fresh homemade garden salsa :)
The apple pie finished baking, about 50 minutes later :) it baked really nicely : )we love apple pie :) We had so much fun today, baking the apple pie, and making fresh homemade salsa :) i thanked Kayla and Mikey for helping bake :) We have lots more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) We love sharing our adventures, and hearing about the nice goodies and foods, you all cook, and bake, throughout the week :) a very special shoutout to family and friends :) Lots of cooking, and baking :) we love hearing about your adventures :) We're with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) Apple Pie, and Fresh homemade Garden Salsa, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, and to the spirit of summer time :) We love you all so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) August 29th, 2014 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a great day! :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) i'm doing better today, and taking some nice time, to enjoy the spirit of the day :) yesterday was a bit emotional, but you all always remind me, that things are gonna be ok, and that each day, is a new beginning :) i'm feeling more spirited today, and looking forward to the weekend :) it's been a really nice week, with lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) The weekend is arriving with lots of spirit, as we count down to the NFL season beginning next week, September arriving on Monday :) i'd love to go to the dollar store tomorrow, shopping, and maybe walmart this week too :) i'd love to check out the hotwheels cars, at our local walmart, to see if they've added new hotwheels :) i love shopping, and finding some good deals :) also this weekend, i want to do some gardening, and writing :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures with everyone in my weekend journals :) There's many more great things to look forward too :) Tonight, i'm going to call our dear friend Holly :) We love to talk, and are going to watch an episode of ghost adventures, and an episode of most haunted show on youtube :) We love our friday night paranormal night shows :) Last night, we watched football, and i also put the espn radio on, the Redskins have their own radio channel :) it's awesome! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and always comfort me, and uplift my spirits :) my family and i deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)
