A Baking friday Story :) We love baking friday, and the very special excitement, and joy it brings each week :) Celebrating baking friday's 16th anniversary today :) baking friday was born, on September 21st, 2007 :) it was my first year here on DS, and i remember such an amazing ,spirit soaring gardening season that year, and lots of nice apples grew on our winesap apple tree :) i remember my family and i picking the apples, and i took a picture of the apples in a basket :) later on that week, i remember it was a friday, September 21st, 2007 when we decided to bake our first apple pie ,using apples from our tree :) We were very excited! :) Kayla was a little kid at the time ,6 years old, and she helped bake the apple pie :) i remember us all being very proud, that we baked an apple pie, using apples from our garden :) i remember putting the apple pie in our microwave to cool down, and i was just about ready to close the microwave door, but then thought about how cool it would be, to share a picture of the apple pie we baked :) i took a picture of the pie, and uploaded the picture in my journal that day, and it was very exciting, as lots of friends loved seeing the apple pie, and asked my family and i, what we'd be baking the following friday, and that's the very moments, that baking friday was born :)

each week ,we continued to bake, and our baking friday crew grew over the years, with the kids being born and when they were old enough to join in on the adventures, they joined the baking friday crew :) We love baking, cooking ,and have so many awesome and very special, great memories over the years from our baking friday adventures :) i believe it's about over 800 baking friday's since 2007, and we look forward to many many more :) it's very special to our hearts, the great enjoyment it brings us, baking and getting to share our adventures with everyone :) Holly is very happy and excited she joined the baking friday crew, in 2019 :) We're so proud to have Holly, and you all, as very special baking friday crew members :) It's so much fun ,our adventures :) baking friday is like a holidy here at our home, from the planning of our weekly adventures ,to decorating the kitchen ,to getting the flour flying in the air, and sharing lots of smiles, and spirited cheer :) Each friday, is always an adventure in the kitchen :) The cookie monsters unite, began a day after the first baking friday :) i have a sweet story to share :) the saturday after the first baking friday, when i woke up and signed onto DS that morning, our dear friend Bev, my ds mum (Bloss) had a funny surprise! :) hehe! :) She saved the picture of the apple pie, and used a feature on her computer, to cut the pie into different portions ,with our names ,for who's slice of pie it was, and she included a slice, that said, "for the cookie monsters" :) each week, i love to begin our baking friday adventure, from a cool thing the kids say, and then i have a "Calling all cookie monsters" :)

Baking friday is a very special part of our lives, and is such a fun, and nice tradition to look forward too :) You all are a very special part of baking friday :) lots of family, and friends have joined in on the baking friday fun over the years :) It's awesome, and so much fun :) a very special thank you, for you all, our dear angel friends, and for all of the friends throughout the years, that have joined in on the baking friday fun :) We always can't wait to bake goodies, from week to week, month to month, seasons/holidays, and all of the great joy it brings us :) We're so happy and thrilled, to celebrate baking friday's 16th anniversary today, by baking an apple pie, in honor of the first ever baking friday adventure, and also baking chocolate chip cookies :) Cookie monsters, baking friday, and lots of smiles being shared! :) Happy 16th anniversary baking friday smiles :)

This morning, we had a sweet new day, rising and shining :) A very special friday tradition i love very much, is wishing my family, Holly, and friends, a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :) Awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much! :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We've been looking forward to our super fun adventure, and blossoming into a whole new season of baking friday fun ,with the fall season arriving tomorrow :) it's a great time of the year, with all of the very special times of the fall season, and upcoming halloween season, baking, cooking, and celebrating great cheer :) i was up early this morning, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) We've had a nice stretch of sunny days, and all of the great joys of the fall season beginning to arrive :)We love this time of the year :) Very soon, the trees will be beginning to change colors, for the beautiful fall foliage season :) i gathered a nice bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) The sunrise sunshine, and our nature friends greeted me :) there were lots of bluejays visiting our yard :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, bird sanctuary area for our nature friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) Our plants are continuing to do well, with lots of beautiful morning glory flowers blossoming ,and we have our gourds growing :) we look forward to picking the gourds in October, and displaying them in our front yard for the fall season :) it's a wholesome time of the year, and we're so happy and excited for the fall season to blossom ,with lots more beautiful nature to look forward too : )Happy September nature smiles :)

It was a sweet peaceful, spirited early morning :) We enjoyed our breakfast, and having iced coffee, water, and sprite soda :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, kitchen decorations, and went out into our kitchen, to begin setting up and decorating our kitchen, for our super fun adventure :) Today ,i decorated our kitchen with a happy 16th anniversary theme :) Our kitchen looked great! :) We have these very special baking friday themed shirts, that our dear friends Deb (Stardust) and her family gave us, years ago :) We love those shirts, and displaying the shirts on the anniversary of baking friday :) as the morning went on ,we put some sports radio on, lots of great football talk, and so exciting the football season in full swing, with lots of great games on sunday :) We're planning a fun football party, and going to have corn chowder, baked potatoes, and snacks :) it's gonna be awesome! :) around mid-day, we enjoyed a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon ,i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :)

Around 3pm, Jenn and the kids came over, and the triplets, and Brody came over :) Lots of great spirited excitement in the air, with the fall season beginning to arrive :) We love this time of the year ,and all of the fall season baking :) We love counting down to our adventures each week :) The kids love cookies, and are so excited when we bake goodies :) They love to help create the baking friday menu :) We have lots of awesome fall season baking and cooking planned :) We all began to gather in our kitchen :) The kids love to select their spots at the kitchen counter :) The kids, Holly, and i got our picture taken in the kitchen :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) You all are always right there with us in spirit, during these sweet spirited times :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over to the years :) i wear my nice apron Holly gave me, and we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies, are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) Our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake some awesome goodies :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) the kids love to help! :) They're great helpers! :) We first began to prepare the apple pie :) We washed, and sliced apples, and put the apples in water on the stove, and added cinnamon and sugar into the water with the apple slices :) our kitchen smelled like apples and cinnamon :) we got the ready made pie crusts ready, we put one of the crusts into the pie baking dish,and added a little cinnamon and sugar, and once the apples had cooked a bit in the water, cinnamon ,and sugar, we then added the apple slices into the pie crust, and added more sugar ,and cinnamon :) We put the other pie crust on top of the apples, and i then used a knife to carefully make some holes in the pie crust, so that the pie bakes evenly :) i covered the apple pie with aluminum foil, and put the apple pie into the oven to bake :)

As the apple pie was baking, we got ready to bake the chocolate chip cookies :) we were adding the ingredients, and taste tested the chocolate chips :) we also got the flour flying in the air in the kitchen! :) hehe! :) it's always a cool fun baking friday tradition over the years :) We were sharing lots of smiles :) my mom and Jenn came out into the kitchen at times, and you all are always right there with us in spirit :) we had a big baking friday crew helping bake goodies today :) we super stirred the cookie dough, we always add in a little extra melted butter :) We were having so much fun :) i was thinking about baking friday, and all of these awesome moments over the years :) i used butter to grease the baking pan, and we made the cookies into round shapes, and put the cookies onto the pan, and i put the first batch of cookies into the oven to bake :) we did some cleaning up in the kitchen , and were hanging out :) The kids were having fun playing, and going back and forth, from the kitchen and living room :)

The first batch of chocolate chip cookies finished baking ,i brought the cookies out of the oven to cool down :) i put a 2nd batch of cookies into the oven to bake :) The apple pie finished baking ,i carefully brought the apple pie out of the oven, and put it into the microwave on top of 2 hot mats, and took a picture of the apple pie, just like 16 years ago :) the 2nd batch of chocolate chip cookies baked nicely too :) i brought the cookies out to cool down, and took a picture of the cookies, and we all began to dig in :) the chocolate chip cookies came out great, and we can't wait to have a slice of apple pie this upcoming weekend :) i thanked the kids, and Holly for helping bake goodies :) We had so much fun baking goodies today, and celebrating baking friday's 16th anniversary :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures to look forward too :) a very special shoutout for family and friends :) Lots of great baking, and cooking this week :) We love hearing about the goodies, and foods you all bake, and cook :)We're all with eachother in spirit, in our kitchens :) This is so much fun and very special :) i wish we all could gather, and have a big baking friday picnic :) Apple Pie, and Chocolate Chip Cookies, dedicated to our wonderful family, friends, to baking friday,and the wonderful spirit of the season :) We love you all, so very very much! :) many great memories made, to always cherish and treasure :) baking friday! :) We love it! :) September 22nd, 2023 :) Happy baking friday everyone, and Happy 16th Anniversary baking friday! :)

We're enjoying an awesome day! :) baking friday, and sweet spirited excitement of these golden days of september! :) we love it!!! :) my family, Holly,and i are doing well, healthy, and in good spirits :) it was so much fun, baking goodies today and celebrating baking friday's 16th annviersary :) We love these very special, spirited fun times, and all of the great memories being made :) the weekend is arriving with lots of fall season spirit :) We love the weekend's :) We're very happy and excited! :) Tomorrow's the 1st day of the fall season! :)We're looking forward to going shopping at the dollar tree, we're going to buy some snacks, candy, treats, and also browsing at the fall/halloween items, and hotwheels :) i'm gonna buy some more birthday gifts for Holly :) It's gonna be lots of fun shopping :) Holly and i are gonna have a spooky cool popcorn movies party tomorrow, and watching a new movie on saturday night :) sunday is football sunday! :) We're looking forward to having a football party, enjoying all of the great gameday cheer, tuning into the games, and having foods, snacks, and drinks :) We're gonna do some more decorating this weekend too, for fall/halloween season, and also gonna watch the new episode of TWD show :) it's gonna be a great weekend! :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventure,and pictures with everyone in my weekend journals :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch 2 episodes of most haunted show :) We love our fun, friday night paranormal party's :)

There's so much more to look forward too all throughout the month of September and counting down to the fall season :) The season is filled with lots of awesome seasonal festivities, traditions,and birthday celebrations to share in :) We love the special times, and celebrations from month to month as the year goes on :) We're so happy to see our September garden continue to shine :) The football season is here! :) a whole season to share in :) We cherish and treasure, the many special memories being made :) We're very happy, thankful, and blessed, to have you all in our lives, and to be able to share in these very special times of the season with you all :) Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us, for comforting us, uplifting our spirits, brightening our days, and for the very special joy you all bring our hearts :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) Big group happy sunny caring sunflower friendship hug :) We wish everyone a nice peaceful evening and night :)
