Happy 15th Anniversary Baking Friday!!! :) Blossoming into Fall Season Baking! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i hope everyone is doing well, healthy, and enjoying a beautiful day :) it's a nice chilly crisp, classic fall season day here with a nice autumn breeze :) We love these golden days of September, and are so very happy, excited, and thrilled to share in and celebrate the fall season with everyone,and all of the wholesome and heart warming seasonal festivities and traditions that brings many special memories :) We love fall, and the wonderful joy it brings :) Today, we're celebrating a very special day :) it's baking friday's birthday!!! :) The 15th anniversary of baking friday :) wow!!! :) it's amazing ,how fast the years go by. :) We love baking friday, it's a very special tradition that we look forward too each week :) We love sharing our adventures and the very special joy it brings us :) We're very happy, thankful ,and blessed to have baking friday in our lives :) all of the years of baking, all of the smiles shared, and many great memories made :) it's always a super fun adventure in the kitchen :)

Thank you all, our dear angel friends, for sharing in this very special tradition with us each week :) Baking friday began on a very sweet, classic fall season day like today :) it was September 21st, 2007 :) We had an awesome apples growing season that year :) i remember us picking winesap apples from our tree :) we were so very proud :) we had discussed baking an apple pie :) It was that friday, on September 21st, 2007 where we baked our first apple pie, using apples from our winesap apple tree :) i remember us being very proud of the pie we baked :) We put the pie into our microwave, and i was just about to close the microwave door, and i thought, "hey ,i want to take a picture to share with everyone on DS" :) i took a picture of the apple pie, and included the picture in my journal that day :) Friends loved seeing the apple pie, and asked, what we were going to bake next friday :) The baking friday tradition was born, and continues to this day :) i remember the day after the first baking friday, waking up into a saturday morning and our dear friend Bev (my ds mum Bloss), she had copied the picture of the pie, and used her art feature on her computer, to make slices of the apple pie, with our names on it, and she saved a slice of the pie that said, "Cookie monsters" :) The cookie monsters tradition was born :) i always begin our baking friday journal, with the "Calling all cookie monsters! hehe!" :)

Baking friday is so much fun, and i love the great joy of all of the excitement of family, friends joining in on the baking friday adventures over the years :) Kayla was 6 years old when baking friday began, she's 21 now, and has passed the baking friday torch to her nephew's over the years :) So many fun ,and exciting baking friday's we've had over the years, and so many more to look forward too :) We have many great memories of baking friday, over the years :) i love putting together our baking friday journals, it's such a fun and exciting joy throughout the days on friday's, and getting to share our adventures :) it warms our hearts, and brings us a lot of smiles getting to share our adventures :) We love this awesome fun tradition :) from decorating the kitchen with the weekly themes, to counting down to baking time, all of the seasonal, holiday baking ,and of course enjoying the goodies we bake :) Thank you all, our dear angel friends for joining us in our kitchen each week, and for welcoming us into your kitchens :) You all are always right there with us in spirit :) When the cookie monsters unit on baking friday, it's always a super fun, and memorable adventure in the kitchen :) Each year, to celebrate the anniversary of baking friday, we love to bake an apple pie, as a special tribute, to the very first baking friday :) Cheers!!! to 15 years of super fun baking friday's, and Cheers!!! to the next 15 years! :) Happy baking friday smiles :)

This morning ,we had a beautiful fall season day rising and shining :) a nice chilly crisp fall season day :) These are some of the best crisp cool days of fall season : )Classic golden September :) Kayla stopped by this morning to say hi, and showed us a picture of her new bunny rabbit she got :) We were talking with Kayla about how today is baking friday's 15th anniversary :) it was nice seeing Kayla :) She's been doing well, and getting a new job :)Earlier in the morning ,i was up early, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) a very special friday tradition i love very much ,is wishing my family, Holly, and friends a happy baking friday, and i share with my family and Holly, your sweet happy baking friday wishes :)awww! :) Thank you angel friends, so very much for your sweet happy baking friday wishes, and happy 15th anniversary baking friday wishes :) You all are very nice, and sweet :) i gathered a nice bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :)

It's a beautiful fall season day :) the spirit of the season is all around :) it was chilly crisp this early morning ,feels like the wonderful arrival of fall season :) the sun was rising up, and there's a nice cool autumn breeze :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard, for our nature friends :) they love their baking friday breakfast feasts :) awww! :) i was breathing in the fresh crisp cool air :) Taking in the nature sights :) Fall is my favorite season :) We're so happy to have some nice fall season flowers blossoming ,and we have some more garden goodies to harvest soon :) The trees will be changing colors more and more, for a classic, golden fall foliage season :) Holly and i are looking forward to lots of fall season nature walks, and seeing lots of beautiful nature sights :) happy fall season smiles :)

It was a nice sweet early morning :) we enjoyed our breakfast, and having some hot tea, and water :) i began to gather our baking friday supplies, decorations ,and went out into our kitchen to begin setting up and decorate our kitchen ,for our super fun adventure :) Today, i decorated with a very special, happy 15th anniversary baking friday theme, using the nice baking friday themed shirts, that our dear friends Deb (Stardust), and her family sent us years ago :) The shirts feature pictures of goodies, that we baked, and goodies that Deb and family baked :) Our kitchen looked very nice, and awesome :) i love taking a picture of our kitchen decorated :) our dear friend Deb (Stardust), use too mention about how, all of the oven mits displayed, looked like the oven mits are waving to everyone :)a special greetings, from our home, and kitchen ,to yours :) as the morning went on, we put some sports radio on, and around mid-day, we enjoyed a nice lunch, and during the early afternoon i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends :) Holly colored a cool happy 15th anniversary shirt :) it's so nice! :)

Around 3pm, Jenn and the kids came over, and the triplets, and Brody came over :) Lots of great spirited excitement in the air, as the fall season has arrived :) We're very happy and excited, to blossom into a whole new season of baking friday fun :) We love Fall, and the upcoming Halloween season :) We all began to gather in our kitchen :) The kids love to select their spots at the kitchen counter :) The kids, Holy, and i got our picture taken :) it's a cool baking friday tradition :) You all are always right there with us in spirit, during these very special, spirited fun times :) Each week, we love to use our nice baking friday supplies we've recieved from family and friends over the years :) i wear my nice apron Holly gave me, and we use our nice oven mits, kitchen towels, and all of our supplies are a big part of our baking, and cooking each week :) Our kitchen was all set, and we were ready to bake some awesome goodies :) Calling all cookie monsters! :) Cookie monsters unite! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)

We began our super fun adventure! :) baking friday teamwork! :) We first began to prepare the chocolate chip cookies :) Earlier, i washed and sliced the apples, including using an apple from our winesap apple tree :) i added the slices of apples into a cooking pot, and Holly added in the cinnamon :) The apples, and cinnamon was cooking in the water on the the stove :) The kids love to help! :) They're great helpers! :) They were very excited to add the ingredients into the bowl :) They all like to have a different ingredient to add into the bowl :) We got the flour flying in the air in the kitchen today :) it's a cool baking friday tradition over the years :) Brody cracked open the egg for us, and we all taste tested the chocolate chips :) We were sharing lots of smiles, and spirited cheer :) The kids were so happy and excited! :) They were singing, and cheering! :) my mom and Jenn came out into the kitchen at times, and you all are always right there with us in spirit :)

We were super stirring the cookie dough :) chocolate chip cookies are one of our favorite treats :) i used butter to grease the baking pan ,and we began making the cookie dough into cookie shapes :)The kids were so proud, they all got to make the cookie shapes,that they wanted to make :) We were having so much fun baking, and enjoying celebrating baking friday's 15th anniversary :) i put the cookies intoth eoven to bake :) As the cookies were baking, i used a metal spatula to add the apples and cinnamon into the pie crust, and then added in some sugar, flour, and more cinnamon :) We put the 2nd half of the pie crust on top of the apples, flour, and cinnamon, i then used a knife to make some small cuts into the pie crust ,to help the pie bake evenly :) i put aluminum foil on top of the pie, and put the pie into the oven to bake :)

our kitchen smelled great, with apples, cinnamon, and chocolate chip cookies baking :) we did some cleaning in the kitchen, and then began to cook the seasoned fries in the fryer :) We love fries :) as the fries were getting cooked, we all were digging in, having some fries :) i gave a plate of fries to my mom and Jenn :) The chocolate chip cookies finished baking ,i brought them out of the oven to cool down :) We continued to make some more fries :) The fries are very popular : )The pie baked for a good 30 minutes, it came out great! :) i took pictures of the chocolate chip cookies ,fries, and i put the apple pie in our microwave, and took a picture of the apple pie, just like 15 years ago :)We look forward to enjoying some apple pie :)
