celebrating the 8th birthday, of baking friday! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters! :) hehe! :) cookie monsters unite!!!!!! :) it's baking friday!!! :) oh my! :) a sweet wholesome, and happy fall harvest, baking friday adventure in the kitchen!!! :) This was so much fun, and a special joy, celebrating the 8th birthday, of baking friday! :) awww! :) Taylynn joined us in the kitchen today! :) We're so happy and excited! :) we used apples, from our apple trees, to bake the goodies today :) a very special time, and lots of great memories being made, over the years :) Angel friends, THANK YOU!!! We sure do LOVE!!! baking friday, and sharing our adventures with everyone :) keeping with the tradition, a wonderfully wholesome tradition that began on September 21st, 2007, when we baked an apple pie, today, Kayla, Taylynn, and i, baked an apple pie, and apple muffins, using apples from our trees :) awww! :) We're so happy, excited, and thrilled, to enjoy this very special tradition each week :) Lots and lots of goodies we have baked over the years, and we'll continue the tradition, for many many more years to come :) There's just something very special, and magical, about the spirit, of a baking friday adventure :) We sure do love it, and it's awesome, how it all began :) it was the summer of 2007, when we had one of our biggest apple growing seasons :) i remember that September very well, and when we baked a nice apple pie, our 1st apple pie, using apples, from our trees :) i remember it so well, and when i put that apple pie into our microwave, i then took my camera, and decided to take a picture of it, because i wanted to share it with you all, and i remember posting it right here on ds, and that day, and weekend, everyone said, "What are you baking next friday?" and that's how the baking friday tradition began :) We're so proud of it, and we're so excited, each week, to dwelve into a theme, and to bake some yummy goodies, and all of the very special memories being made, for our hearts to always cherish, and treasure :)
With it being the 8th birthday of baking friday, i thought it would be awesome, to bake an apple pie today, to celebrate :) baking is such great fun :) fun for all seasons :)whether's it's the spring, summer, fall, or winter, there's always some sweet treats to bake, and some awesome baking friday smiles to share :) i'm so pumped up and excited, because fall season is here, and we are ready for a season, of baking friday fun :) Fall harvests, and Halloween time coming up :) Each adventure, is always such a great time, and we're so thrilled too, that over the years, Taylynn joined Kayla and i, and eventually Mikey, and the triplets, Colby, Brayden, and Jacob, and soon, little baby Hunter, as he grows and grows, will be getting the flour flying in the air in the kitchen with us :) woot! :) There's so much to look forward too :) The little kids today, had busy days with their mom's and dad's, but today, we had the old school baking friday crew together in the kitchen!!! :) Kayla, Taylynn, and i :) awww! :) i remember when Kayla was 6 years old, when we first began to bake, and Taylynn was about a month old, and she grew, and began to join Kayla and i in the kitchen :) i use too hold the bowl for both of them, to super stir the ingredients, and now, they've grown so much, they'll be taller than me! hehe! :) it's amazing, 8 years of baking, and we're ready for many more years, of this very special, joyful, fun, wholesome tradition :)
This morning, we had a sweet new fall season day, rising and shining :) golden bright sunshine shining upon the apples of our trees in our yard :) a perfect day, to harvest some awesome goodies :) We're so happy, and excited! :)i wished my family, and friends, a happy baking friday, and i shared with my family, your wonderful happy baking friday wishes :) awww! :) You all are so nice, and sweet :) i texted friends throughout the day today, to wish everyone, a happy baking friday :) i enjoyed my early morning nature walk, as the sun continued to rise and shine way up into the sweet blue september sky :) i love it!!! :) i put lots of goodies, all around our yard, for our nature animal friends :) They love their baking friday breakfast feasts! :) over the years, we've baked extra sugar cookies, muffins ,breads, cakes, cupcakes, and lots, that we've been able to give, to the birds, and squirrels too :) they love those goodies, and are so happy and excited to gather them :)
It was a great morning, as i began to gather some baking friday supplies! :) Woot! woot! :) i love decorating our kitchen each week :) it became a big part of the baking friday tradition, back in late 2007, when we began to recieve some lovely decorations, oven mits, aprons, kitchen towels, and lots more :) We love to display them in our kitchen each week, as a wonderful part, of our baking friday display :) it's very special to us :) We use our oven mits, aprons, kitchen towels, everything, we use a lot, for all the times, we bake, and cook :) i usually leave our oven mits in the kitchen, and they are used by us all, all throughout the week, whoever is cooking, or baking, the oven mits, are used so nicely, proudly, and very happily :) We love our baking friday supplies. :) after decorating our kitchen, i was reminising with my mom, about baking friday, over the years. :) we've had so many sweet adventures, and many more to look forward too :) i enjoyed my lunch, and around mid-day, i went outside, to pick apples :) for our apple pie and muffins today, we used macintosh apple, winesap apple, and granny smith apple :) during the early afternoon, i enjoyed some nice time here on ds, writing to friends :)
Shortly before 3pm, i went back out into our kitchen, and began to prepare the apples :) i washed, and sliced the apples, and put sugar on them :) i love the scent of apples :) it's beautiful spirit of othe fall season :) shortly after 3pm, Kayla and Taylynn arrived home from school :) We first thought, since the little kids weren't coming over today, we thought it was gonna be just Kayla and i baking, but Taylynn came out into the kitchen, and wanted to help us bake! :) COOL!!!! :) we were so happy and excited! :) our kitchen was all set, and ready, and we were ready to begin baking! :) calling all cookie monsters! :) cookie monsters unite!!! :) it's time to bake! bake! bake! :)
Kayla, Taylynn, and i began our super fun adventure! :) We first began to prepare, the apple pie :) we used some nice ready made crusts :) we had the slices of apple all set, and sprinkled cinnamon, and more sugar onto the apples :) We were loaded, with lots of nice apples :) We put the apples inside of the pie crust, we added lots and lots of slices of apples :) we wanted to make a HUGE apple pie, like we made in 2007 :) This is our best apple harvest since, 2007, it's so nice, and a joyful harvest :) we put the top of the pie crust on top of the apples, and then sprayed the crust with buttery cooking spray :) i then covered the apple pie, with some aluminum foil, and put the apple pie into the oven to bake! bake! bake! :)
As the apple pie, with cinnamon and sugar began to bake, we began to prepare, the apple muffins :) i said to Kayla, "pick out the best egg ever!" :) awww! :) She loves to pick out the eggs :) it's one of her favorite baking friday traditions over the years :) She opened up the fridge, picked out the egg, and she let Taylynn crack open the egg :) Baking friday teamwork!!! :) we were sharing some smiles, as we prepared the apple muffins :) We added in some half and half cream milk, cinnamon, sugar, and began to SUPER STIR!!! the apple muffins mix :) We then got some baking cups, and a pan, and made 9, apple cinnamon muffins :) i said to Taylynn, "Hey Taylynn, wanna put the muffins into the oven!" she said, "Sure!!!" :) awww! :) she was very careful, as she placed the muffins onto the oven rack, and the muffins, and apple pie, baked so very nicely :) We did some cleaning up in the kitchen, as we were baking the pie, and muffins :)
i was so impressed, how both Kayla and Taylynn did, helping bake :) i thanked them both :) The apple pie, baked for a good hour, and also the muffins baked within 20 minutes :) We love apple cinnamon muffins, and apple pie :) We're so happy and excited!!! :) We love these awesome times, baking friday, and we look forward to the little kids joining us in the kitchen more, in the upcoming weeks, fall season baking, and halloween themed baking :) We're planning all kinds of super fun adventures :) We want to take this time, for a very special shoutout! :) all our family, and friends, who have helped chip in over the years, helping us get baking friday supplies :) From baking supplies, to the awesome supplies we use, pans, oven mits, aprons, kitchen towels, hot mats, recipe books, and lots more :) We love everything :) Also a very special shoutout, to everyone, family, friends, for all of the awesome baking, and cooking over the years :) From goodies, treats, foods, desserts, holiday baking, birthday baking, and lots more :) Each week, it's like a baking friday picnic! :) woot! :) We love baking friday, and we cherish it, with all of the love of our hearts :) We have many more super fun baking friday adventures ot look forward too :) APPLE PIE, APPLE MUFFINS, dedicated, to our wonderful family, friends, to the 8th birthday of baking friday, and wholesome, heart warming traditions shared together :) we love you all so very very much! :) baking friday! :) we love it!!! :) many great memories made, to always cherish, and treasure :) September 24th, 2015 :) Happy baking friday everyone! :)
We're enjoying a wonderful day! :) baking friday! :) fall season! :) we love it!!! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) There's lots of great things going on, and many special memories being made :) It's been a nice stretch of days, and the weekend is arriving with lots of fall season spirit :) We're so happy, thankful, and blessed, to have the wonderful opportunity, to enjoy these very special times, sharing in, and celebrating the spirit of thre season with everyone :) Tomorrow, i'd love to go shopping at the dollar store :) i'd love to buy some halloween treasures :) it's gonna be lots of fun shopping :) on sunday, football sunday :) i'm going to do some writing on sunday too :) i look forward to sharing our weekend adventures, and pictures with everyone in my weekend journal :) There's lots of great things to look forward too :) the halloween season is coming :) Tonight, Holly and i are going to watch the new episode of ghost adventures, and an episode of most haunted :) We love our friday night paranormal party night's watching the shows :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, sweet, and brighten our days :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful weekend :)
